It's a toss up between no and it doesn't matter for me.

I don't buy digitally because of how awful my internet is and how I hate filling up space on my PS3 and have to keep deleting stuff. Birth by Sleep on Vita is not something I care for any more as I still have a working PSP and the original copy of the game (that and HD collection coming up). So I'm not fussed, if they made a digital-only KH title then yeah I'd buy it but if they don't then physical > digital without a second thought.

For me I don't like to get the games digitally but I do understand that there are people out there who want digital copies and maybe it would give the series more spotlights if it was on PSN, so I would say yes to stay on the market longer.

I won't buy a digital release but I support it, because playstation store offers great deals, if you have playstation plus, they offer sometimes strong titles for free temporarily, which are great opportunities for others who ever wanted to give a shot or never did, but can try it out.

I would say yes, simply because no game system, no matter how well maintained, runs forever if it where available digitally I'd never have to worry about not being able to play my favorite Kingdom Hearts games even long after the disc and original system stop working.

I like to physically own things that mean something to me, so I'll always buy the retail version, but it wouldn't hurt to have it available for purchase digitally. So, it doesn't matter to me.

I'd be fine with it. The only time I go digital is when it's free or it's the only way (I have Battlefield 3 and Sims 2 on PC).

I prefer retail copies, never know what the publishers do with the casing :3

Eh, maybe. I really prefer physical copies over digital downloads, but there are definitely certain benefits that come from a digital format. Updates, upgrades, changes, fixes, or even expansion of the game itself are definitely more doable on a digital game as apposed to the relatively limited space of a disc. However, it lacks the sort of pride you get from holding the case in your hands, placing it on the shelf, looking at it from a far and saying to yourself "Yeah. That's right. I bought that.". Oh yeah, and then playing the game. I really don't think digital should replace physical altogether like some people think, but I do think they could compliment eachother. Plus, I think the digital format serves as a great avenue for remaking and remastering older games that are harder to get your hands on physically these days. Sonic CD is the best example of good use of a digital format I can think of at the moment. If Kingdom Hearts ever got a digital product, then I would hope it would be for games like Days and ReCoded when they feel like trying to remake them in the future, an HD ReMIX for DDD, or even a console counterpart of X(chi). But if anything, I would prefer that the Kingdom Hearts series never abandons it's physical routes. Disks and cartridges to me are a timeless thing. Data is useful, but you can't hold data in your hand, it's just not the same.

In my opinion, it truly doesn't matter to me. I buy actual disc copies of games and I don't do much online games. Sure I might every now and then get a game that I can't get any where else on the game store (PSN or eShop) and I might be a PS Plus member, but I still like to most get games in real life instead of digitally because the disc itself will last longer than the digital copy, as I fear one day that actual copies of games will be around much longer than the digital copy and that the digital copy might get taken down in some way like maybe the whole network gets shut down, but this is only my fear and can't be proven in the slightest. So yeah, a digital game is good for its own reasons, but I'd prefer actual game copies. So if Kingdom Hearts does become digital, the only thing I want is to know that there will always be an actual game copy as well.

I wouldn't care, but would rather a physical copy of a game series I love just in case anything went wrong with the service.  Like digital copies on the original Xbox are no longer supported.  I would wait til it was delivered instead of pre-installing but generally I seem more patient than a lot of other gamers.  Additionally there's games available for digital download that are more expensive than a physical copy and at any point support for the service could be discontinued rendering some games unplayable.  I have a bunch of games on the PSN and like it, but just feels more secure with physical copies.

There's tons of reasons for digital versions.

#1 Always purchasable. No worrying about discontinues or searching eBay or other websites.

#2 Quick, convenient. Don't have to wait for it to arrive if you order the physical media online.

#3 Pre-loading. Download the game before it's even released, allowing you to play the second it's released.

#4 Play PSP games on PS Vita.

#5 So many more on depending on the user.

And I'll be honest, I almost always purchase my games on Blu-ray or cartridge, but I'm all for digital for these reasons and more.

1.  Digital games get delisted.

2.  Depending on the retailer preordered games can arrive a day early (they do with my retailer)

3.  ^ Above

I agree with 4 and 5 could just as easily be so much less depending on the user.

Digital games very rarely get delisted. I've never seen one be delisted. I go to the PlayStation Store and I see plenty of amazing games released on the PSP and PS3 years and years ago and they're still there.

You have to pay extra for postage or shipping then.

And in terms of your situation, Europe usually gets games last anyway.

These are just some examples, I cannot be annoyed going and finding a complete list.  In some situations it's not much but it still shows that games can be delisted.  Popular games stick around of course, there's always gonna be old time fans and newbs looking stuff like classic Crash or Spryo for example but not every game stays and once they're gone, they're gone, same way movies get delisted on Netflix.

Additionally I get free shipping on all my pre-orders from my retailer, they usually always drop in price before they get to me and I get price promised to pay the lower price too.

Furthermore regardless of when we get releases, we would still have to wait for our release date to actually use a digital copy anyway in our zone so it doesn't make a difference that stuff comes out later here, we're still tied to the country's release date.

They would only get removed because of issues or lack of demand.

It isn't quick and convenient for many people like me with shit internet. I can usually get the physical game faster than downloading it.

It's always going to be different depending on the user and their preferences but on a standard U.S connection this is is true.

But point is they still get removed.  Regardless of licensing issues or it being unpopular, there'd still be people out of luck over it, or people who paid for a digital copy and can no longer play because support was dropped (MS Xbox original Live for eg.)

I see advantages of digital games, but I don't think it's miles better than physical copies.  Depending on personal preference either or can be terrible or fantastic.

I voted the first option, but truth is... my ps3's disk reader burned to death some weeks ago, and it's too expensive to fix xD plus, I don't really want that many games, and I have close to 100gb space available xD so I'll only get downloadable games... but still, I want to play against No Heart and the Mysterious figure... so... please, digital release... PLEAAASEEEEEEE >_<
