liamaru 294 Posted July 30, 2014 when i say more realistic i mean like if you cast fire on an object or enemy will it burst into flames or if you use blizzard will the object/enemy freeze what do you guys think?
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Not in the NA version. The Undead Pirates in KH II for example caught on fire when you used a fire spell on them in the Japanese version but it was considered "too graphic" for the "target audience" in the west so the took the flames out. Tails 6,692 Posted July 30, 2014 Well, considering how game developers these days want their games to feel more "realistic" than I won't be surprised if they ever do something like this for KHIII.

Caity 3,946 Posted July 30, 2014 Agree with I could see flames coming off them but I couldn't see them screaming while bursting in agony, like green colored blood was censored for the Hydra 2 Jilly Shears and liamaru reacted to this
liamaru 294 Posted July 30, 2014 i saw it the flames looked life like your point is ? no offense
Master Keeper 687 Posted July 30, 2014 I am looking forward into a strong realistic magic similar to FFXIII's. What we are talking about is a PS4 console so we would expect the strongest graphics that Square Enix ever did before.
Geotrix 862 Posted July 30, 2014 Added graphical fidelity are probably a given for KH3.
darkerturbo 168 Posted July 30, 2014 I think we can expect more detail than the past games put into KH since it's on the ps4/xbone, which is stronger than any other console that will has a KH game. They probably could've done that for kh3 if it were for ps3/xbox 360 but the only kh games released/releasing on ps3 are the hd remixes so they were just upping what they already made to 1080p

FutureKeybearer 36 Posted July 30, 2014 You do realize you're asking that magic be realistic. It's MAGIC. there's no need for realizm
VeNate13 144 Posted July 30, 2014 when i say more realistic i mean like if you cast fire on an object or enemy will it burst into flames or if you use blizzard will the object/enemy freeze what do you guys think?I think it will defiantly look better that's for sure! As for setting enemies on fire or freezing them, it's happened in BBS and the other DS games so it's not too far fetched!
Cucco 1,907 Posted July 30, 2014 I don't understand all of the censorship over to the west like with the pirate fire, seems unnecessary
Zachy1993 65 Posted July 30, 2014 Why do we WANT realism in KH3? Its a game that mixes Final FANTASY with DISNEY. Jeez.

Keyblader_95 1,410 Posted July 30, 2014 I think that effects like burning or becoming a popsicle, would be more cool if they were applied only on enemies which belong to the opposite element as that of the casted spell (in addition to extra damage) 1 liamaru reacted to this
