My first post on this site was basically this thread, here's what I said "This is my first post but I could not stop thinking about what is possible for KH3 on next gen consoles in terms of features and gameplay. For example after watching the FF15 trailer where Noctis is throwing his sword and teleporting to it I thought about how cool it would be for that to be an ability that sora(or riku or other) could unlock after meeting him.  You could use it to reach high platforms or perform "reactions" so I want to hear what Ideas other people may have." I still want this to be a thing but it has to be some thing you get halfway through at the earliest, so that way you could use it in a similar way to glide in KH1 and 2. I also have more ideas, ever since I was a kid I wanted to design games and KH3 is one I have already made in head many times.

There are so many things I want for gameplay but I know that they'll want to avoid changing things too much so it will still feel familiar.

Some ideas:

  • Let you hold down the attack button at any point in your combo to do a charged up attack then continue your combo. 
  • Let you fluidly break out of or redirect your combo on so that if your attacking one enemy and see an attack from another coming, you could flip out of the way then continue your combo.
  • Being able to get knocked onto the floor or into a wall. You could then have special attacks, dodges or combo starters you can only use after you get knocked down.
  • Have Flowmotion be only a single small jump or swing etc. off a wall, object, pole or enemy which you can lead into a special Flowmotion only combo.
  • Have the BBS/DDD command deck alongside a KHII style menu.
  • Let us temporarily merge commands(like you could with Cards in CoM) for stronger unique attacks.
  • Have keyblades level up to get stronger/ more abilities and visually change appearance (like Terra and Aqua's first keyblade)
  • Keyblade attachments(like 358/2 Days) that have various effects like: wider combo swings, poison enemy, change block to a special attack etc.

On the other side of things, enemies, of the same or different type, could coordinate combination attacks/assists to really put the pressure on when you get surrounded.

How about bringing Tech Points back? It was a fun part of the battles in KH: exploiting the weakness of an enemy and then getting rewarded for doing so. Kinda bummed that it was only a gimmick in the first KH, but never was seen again in later titles.
