How would like the battle system to be in KH3?

Hey guys, so me and my friend have been going back and forth on the battle system for KH3. He LOVES the deck system which I can see because it worked well in KHBBS amd KH3D. Honeslty, I'd rather see something similar to KH2, but with more fluid and open ways to summon or do awesome limit breaks. What we saw in some KH3 trailers was Sora transforming his keybalde which sounds downright awesome. I mean, how cool would it be to transform the Keyblade in Cloud's sword or Hercules' sword and shield if they're in KH3?! The flowmotion in KH3D was amazing, so I would like to see an improved

Version of that. Let me know about any ideas you have or would like to see brought back!

I want innovation in the party system: instead of having 3 people in your team (max), I want Sora, Donald and Goofy to be joined by NPCs when it makes sense, so have Genie and Aladdin follow you in Agrabah instead of switching out a party member.

 

I would like summons to return, but it doesn't seem like it will happen :(

 

Other than those, a natural progression of KH2 and BBS will be fine.

Anything specific from BBS? Command locks were my favorite part of it, and how you adopted your summon's deck was pretty cool. Especially when they had their own perks when you leveled them up. I'm sure Nomura will make it fun as hell either way.

KHI/II's Battle Menu, with Command Styles mixed in as limits(like how the trailer showed), with a few reaction commands, but not too many, and toned down Flowmotion. That's good enough for me.

I like the combat system from kingdom hearts 2 and brith by sleep a lot the fact that i could change forms and stuff made me feel very strong....... until i get killed by vanitas ;_;

I think the Deck System will stay with us. The mana systems for KH always annoyed me and I thingk they realized how succesful the deck system was.

Now, I want DUAL WIELDING! HAHHHHHHHHHH

More Flowmotion would be nice. But I was very disappointed when they gave Riku "all-around" block in DDD, but Sora was stuck with "head-on" blocks. In my opinion, Sora is not  as strong as Riku and should therefore be given better defense options.

 

Also, I don't know if we'll be able to play as the other guys yet, but in case we won't, it would be nice if we could at least summon the other characters to help us out during certain fights. For example: a big, fat, boss battle is underway, and you Summon Riku to help you for a short period of time. And then later on, you will be able to Summon Kairi, Aqua, Lea etc. and just keep building on throughout the game until you have a whole team of "Companion" Summons to choose from.

I would like the MP system to be back, if just to make combat harder so you can't spam without consequence. Though having the command deck system to help you cycle through you moves faster is pretty nice to have.

Mayby they will do a mix between 3D and BBS flowmotion and shotlock :).

Flowmotion got the chance since the first trailer if just that is in it then it will be fine.

They'll probably bring back Drive forms but give it a new name. 50% chance for there to be a dodge roll. Than there's flowmotion, you will probably not be able to swing around lamp post but can Swing around enemies and wall jump between corridors. And than there's birth by sleeps Shotlock. I'm just mad there's no command deck(unless there is and you have to switch from the basic menu to it, maybe its like in the magic command...).

I want SE to not over-do it and make the battle system OP'ed like they did in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. I want a real challenge.

I agree! Kingdom Hearts 3D was too easy! No flowmotion! I rather have gameplay like Kingdom Hearts 2 off kingdom hearts birth by sleep! Or a merge between the two. And as I've mentioned before, I want keyblades to clash like lightsabers!
