Kade Tryhard 9 Posted July 28, 2014 (edited) If it was ported to a console, it would be for the sake of unity; after the release of KH 2.5, DDD will be the only game not on the PS3. One of the complaints about the series is that it's spread out over too many consoles, and DDD port would finally bring all of the games in one place. However, SE has acknowledged that it's too soon after the games release to remake it, and that they'd rather focus on their current projects. Still they're not ruling it out. Yeah, I wouldn't want it to be a focus for them if they did it
FutureKeybearer 36 Posted July 28, 2014 It's a matter of playing it on a T.V. I think
VeNate13 144 Posted July 28, 2014 Well if they do remaster it then it'd be nice to have all the Kingdom Hearts games on one console. Which would be pretty nice I guess. It would also be nice I guess to have more content maybe, Kingdom Hearts 3D sorta felt short to me. However, I can't see remastering the game, maybe just tweaking the game for playstation and and putting it on the PSN. I guess that'd be fun!
jadentheman 72 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) It already looks crisp and beautiful on the 3ds, especially if you have a 3ds XL(I don't have an XL but I've seen it played on one before). Really the only visual problem with the game is some aliasing problems, which is a given for 3ds games anyway. Because people want this! Yes it's only been two years since it released, but if it comes out in Fall/Winter 2015 it would be over 3 years just like BBSFM(Jan 2011) is to 2.5 (Dec 2014) over three years. Aru Akise 2,540 Posted July 29, 2014 Games for the 3DS should stay on 3DS. Except for Zelda. NINTENDO make an ALL GAMES ZELDA Collection for PS4. Pretty please?
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted July 29, 2014 I have to agree that the game already looks fine as is. An HD remake is not needed for now.

Keyblader_95 1,410 Posted July 29, 2014 Because, even though it looks awesome already, a home console version would be great. Needless to say that HD is always better than SD, especially when the SD version is stunning already And talking about console limitations, remastering Dream Drop Distance for PS3 would allow Nomura to add content he couldn't add before, if needed

Keyblader_95 1,410 Posted July 29, 2014 they said they wouldn't want to do a final mix of the game They also said that they wouldn't remaster Dream Drop Distance at all, but according to Tai Yasue it's now quite possible
Cucco 1,907 Posted July 29, 2014 They also said that they wouldn't remaster Dream Drop Distance at all, but according to Tai Yasue it's now quite possible I don't think it's gonna happen, they've already delayed 3 twice because of remasters
jadentheman 72 Posted July 29, 2014 I don't think it's gonna happen, they've already delayed 3 twice because of remasters They didn't delay 3 for the remasters. KH3 was never delayed it just started development less than a year ago. The remasters were always going to be made since like 2011/2012

After all we know that yet another Kingdom Hearts game will be released before Kingdom Hearts III and if this is possible, then it means Kingdom Hearts III won't be delayed any further after all. Probably because they will have enough staff to make two games at the same time, like they did during the development of HD 2.5 ReMIX They didn't delay 3 for the remasters. jadentheman 72 Posted July 29, 2014 Kingdom Hearts III is in development since 2010. No it was in pre-planning stages in 2010. They didn't actually start working till like 2013 or else they would have more content to show for which they don't. But I guess it's ok because FFXV is in it's 8th year and still nothing new was really shown yet.

Geotrix 862 Posted July 29, 2014 DDD only came out 2 years ago and the 3DS is still going strong, it doesn't really need a HD remaster. The only way I feel it would have one is to fill in the void for 2015 for a KH game.

Rahin The Gamer 25 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) While it is a recent game and it looks amazing already, I think a KH3D HD remaster is very possible or at least a straightforward port. I say that for the following reasons: - It's only a single game unlike 1.5/2.5 HD REmix. - The HD process has already been stated to be quicker. - Nothing needs to be added. - The only thing that needs changing aside from controls would be the bottom screen gameplay. I firmly believe if it is announced sometime soon/In development it could release Mid-2015 or before. While some people are saying it will affect the development of KH3 I think they should get over it, it only provides time to come up with a concrete early development for KH3. People have been waiting for a long time for KH3 an extra year or two isn't going to kill anyone, or put it this way what would you rather have a rushed and underwhelming KH3 for 2015 or an extremley amazing and well developed game for 2016/17/18, heck even 2016 seems too early of a release.
