HikariYami 354 Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) What hell does he say? I have been trying to figure out since I was nine years old. Bring closure to my life. Does he say "love you" ? Please help.... EDIT: Pertaining to the above gif: all you people saying his is saying 'arigatou', he is not. It is obvious he is saying a something with two syllables and KHII was synced to English in the west in localization. It is also too short and slow for him to say 'arigatou'. This is not Japanese. Trust me. It is a "th" look. Try it. But, thanks everyone for figuring something out that I have been pondering for half my life. Dio Brando 5,810 Posted July 26, 2014 He just said thank you and if I remember it was even in the subtitles of the cutscenes.....if I remember correctly and even if it wasn't there his mouth movement is the same as when someone say "Arigato" which means thank you in Japanese 2 Reyn and RoxasXIIIK reacted to this

This is the English version. Nweintraub 630 Posted July 26, 2014 I thought it was obvious. He said "f*** you". He was cussing at Donald & Goofy whether I like it or not.
Kittenz 4,281 Posted July 26, 2014 ''Thank you'' or ''ありがとう'' He says this at that moment in the manga as well

I know it's the English version but that scene in particular has mouth movement that was leftover from the Japanese version, regardless of this he said thank you in both situations

King_Graham 135 Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) japanese tend to have bigger eyelashes look at Ratchet for Japan plus a bit bigger eyes.Well, bigger eyes are a given, but bigger lashes......I haven't noticed that in KH.. On Topic: he definitely says "arigato" in Japanese, and "Thank You" in English. Edited July 27, 2014 by Andrew Rowland
Kodakliv 558 Posted July 27, 2014 Well, bigger eyes are a given, but bigger lashes......I haven't noticed that in KH.also they kind of edit the face a bit to make it look more western. There are a lot of facial differences if you look close enough.

I am glad I am not the the only one who notices that. Could you elaborate on how the eyes and eyelashes would be different? In Japan, Sora has black eyelashes, is slightly darker due to yellow undertones, and a rounder nose, and in the Western version he has brown eyelashes, a pointier nose, and has more of a red undertone making him look whiter for a more white audience. Everyone's face changes slightly except Riku because his looks are unrealistic, but his eyelashes are changed to a red-brown color in DDD on his older model. Aqua has red eyelashes in the Western BBS. Japanese Riku English Riku Japanese Roxas which is practically Sora's/Ven's/Vanitas model with a hair swap they have the same eyes and nose now that they updated those models English Roxas Edited July 27, 2014 by HikariYami
