why all the hate for kingdom hearts III final mix or DLC?

i can't seem to understand why people are so against the idea of having DLC or a final mix?(i know ther will be no more final mixes becouse nomura seid it was a mistake)but i mean look at kingdom hearts II final mix okay picture this you beat kingdom heartsII awesome great game but you feel you want more but the next installment is a long way away but look kingdom hearts II included all 13th order boss battles extra keyblades extra locations ect. i mean come on were bought kingdom hearts 1.5 & are buying kingdom hearts II.5. people don't seem to understand why DLC is awesome DLC is meant to add content to a game that they didn't have time to implant in the game or want to expand on it like a ff world (SO HYPE) or ff summons or ff wepons (i love ff) so please don't disscard the possibility of dlc.

Well, I think half of it is that WE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S EVEN GOING TO BE IN Kingdom Hearts III IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Why should we discuss DLC or FM content if we don't even have any idea what the game's even going to be like? 

 

It's like waiting for a movie to come out and already talking about what will be in the Director's cut without even seeing or knowing anything about the theatrical cut.

It's not that I hate the idea of another Final Mix, it would all be just as well with me, but the fact that Nomura and the gang have taken so long with the game indicates that in all this time they've been working on it, they should really put everything that they intend to put into the main release.  I'm pretty sure that by the time that Kingdom Hearts III is at least 85% complete in development, Nomura will probably say that he and his team put everything that they wanted to put.  But if he decides to do a Final Mix anyway, then I don't have a problem with it.  I'm just saying that with all the time they have, they should really consider putting all the content they want to put into the main release of the game.  In the end, only Nomura knows what will happen.

There isn't hate, simply there won't be a Final Mix reissue since Square Enix don't do international versions any more. They do DLC these days, like everyone else.

I think the reason they're against FM is because they tend to be JPN exclusive and they don't want DLC because they don't want it to turn out like FFXIII-2/3 i.e, skimpy fanservicey costumes.

Personally I'm tired of DLC- if I was a video game creator I would include ALL the content I had in mind with the actual game rather than tacking it on later for more moneyNow if it was a matter of disc space then I'd release the DLC for free or just have the game be on multiple discs and be old school, but obviously with such ideas my video game company would be broke and out of business rather quickly as I'd just keep giving things out for free

DLC is pointless that's why.

Adding content to a game afterwards is just asking for more money.  If they want to put it in the game they should do it originally.  We can wait the few extra weeks that it would take to make a secret ending (looking at you XIII-2).

FM just gets annoying because it's an exclusive. Thank God those are over. As far as DLC goes, I typically wouldn't mind. It's just that this is a game that everyone is expecting to have the complete content. People are just ready to play the game they've been promised, and they want to play it all completely. 

 

Besides, it's supposed to end the Xehanort arc in the series (Right? I'm pretty sure that's what's been said, but please correct me if I'm wrong), so they might as well just release KH III with the complete content and get on with what's next.

For someone like me I hate paying for DLC and that is only because games like FF13-2 where u need to buy all the DLC to understand the story completely

If they release a final mix version, even if it goes outside of japan, it means that we have to buy the game twice(unless its DLC) and look at FFXIII-2,you want to see the end of the game,it costs money,you want to fight cool extra bosses like Gilgamesh or Ultros ,it costs money.If they make DLC for KH3 bosses like Sephiroth might become DLC and that's terrible,I hate when developers do this.If they have Final mix or DLC in mind right now, they'll intentionally cut content from the game like the extra bosses and make them as DLC,I want a complete experience with KH3 at launch.

 

But I guess if like a year after the release,they want to make a Final Mix version,AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE, as DLC at a reasonable price to make the game even better,then I guess I wouldn't be against it.

I want Square to give us the FULL game, not release the game with additional stuff as DLC or, even worse, as FM. DLC honestly wouldn't fit in a game like KH. A DLC world would be an awkward fit, weapons would end up being overpowered, and bosses... I still have nightmares over Square going so far as to make Gilgamesh a DLC battle. I don't want to have to imagine that ever happening again.

 

Also, you see: back in the day, we didn't HAVE DLC. We just expected game developers to put all of their effort loading the main game with content, so you paid for exactly what you were getting. It was a lot more fun than having to pay more money ON TOP of that original fee just to get a costume or whatever.

I don't even know why DLC is even being discussed at this point in time. The game has only been in development since last year (From what we know) and DLC wont even be discussed until the game is out or the release date has been announced

Well, for a start, NO ONE WANTS A Final Mix and secondly Nomura said it was a mistake to make Final Mixes.
