Avernum RP (signups)

Well I've finally decided to start my own RP. I always loved old school RPG games and they were really fun to play. Every now and then ive seen something original but this is interesting. This Rp will be based on the Avernum series (a rpg game by spiderweb software).

Without further delay i present Avernum:

 

You have been banished to the underworld, never to see the light of day again. You have been cast down into the dark, volcanic pits of Avernum, filled with foul monsters, constant warfare, and thousands and thousands of your fellow prisoners. This is your punishment for not fitting in, for speaking out against the powers that be, for being an inconvenience to the government of the cruel Emperor Hawthorne. You have been sentenced to life imprisonment in the caverns, eventually to die there, forgotten and unmourned.

But you need not accept your fate. There are those who wish to struggle against this injustice, who wish to return to the surface world and to fight against tyranny. But first, they need a hero, they need inspiration, and, most of all, they need someone who can find an escape route. Can you help them?

Will you be the first person to escape from Avernum?

 

That's the intro in a nutshell.

 

There are some rules you need to follow:

1 try to go easy with the blood and gore (it is allowed but don't overdo it)

2 no sexual content

3 no killing other characters (other peoples characters)

4 no god modding  (unless given permission)

5 try to keep long posts

 

 

Ok now that that's out of the way you should also know a little bit about the underground races that you might meet:

-humans (no explanation needed)

-nephilium and nephar - basically cat people (good with bows and are really nimble)- mostly hunters and bandits very savage and occasionally posses magic knowlage

-slithzerekai (sliths)- lizard men (great with spears and resistant to heat) - first off you've never heard of them second you don't want to hear from them they are superhuman in some perspectives and are very efficient with magic

-vatahanai- almost aliens that are gods of all kinds of magic- you've also never heard of them they probably wont be seen but its good to mention their extremly advanced culture

Ok about the skills: Each person can have three areas of expertiese for instance: magic, healing, thieving(lock picking and the alike) and so on.

Bio: Hi likes fire alot. (lol) He had always been energetic and liked having fun. He wasn't also a person who liked to play a lot, but he was also one the smartest in every class. He has a mom and dad and a dead sister, who died from cancer. He was walking one day to a campfire, and the next thing he new, he was in a world he had never seen. 

Skills: Fire magic, thief and burn healing. (lol, I choose the one's you put)

Bio: a quiet dude who doesn't talk much about his history, he likes his privacy and lives for the moment. He doesn't really care if he stays in the Underworld or not, he only wishes to be reunite with someone he cares about.

Skills: Thief, has darkness magic, and can blend into the shadows

Appearance:
Bio: When other children were learning how to walk he was learning to hold a knife. His friends were the blades and spears. A tuch of divine flows through his veins (although the devine of some church who is very questionable as far as realism goes).  The son of a rebel on the surface is sentenced to exile. Although he was highly regarded as a fighter nothing was actually special about him. Family died in a empire raid the same day he was captured. Before sent to the underworld he managed to escape twice (and was captured twice).
Skills: free-running, swordsmanship and wind magic(but fairly weak)

Bio: "Elise" used to leave with her parents, spending her days taking care of her younger siblings. They were an average happy family, until Elise started fighting for her own ideologies. She is a very cheerful, but focused girl, who's able to do anything she can for anyone she likes. But she's also over-protective and can get really angry and irrational if something doesn't go the way she planned. 

Skills: healing, arrow and bow and transforming into an eagle (I'm out of ideas, haha)

Bio: Firo is suprisingly friendly considering hes from a mafia. Maybe not the most rational type but he can be a great person at times. He dosnt consider himself a "doogooder" or a "fiend" although placing him in between would be a mistake. He got sucked intoo a portal  in his own time period 1930.
Skills: martial arts, knife fighting,acrobatics
