Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) Just now I was reading an interview with Tetsuya Nomura regarding the DDD Ultimania and I stumbled across this... — Before the ending, Riku receives research data from Ansem the Wise. In the next title, will that be the key to bringing back the people who are sleeping inside Sora? Nomura: You could say it’s the key. That data contains the details explaining the way to connect lost hearts. Maybe this is what is meant by the "Key to Return Hearts". It makes complete sense! Ansem the Wise planted this data within Sora between the events of Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II. Now it may not be the "key" itself, but it could be like a 'map' of sorts to find the key to restore those who are LOST (alluding to the answer Nomura gave). So it isn't a map to find the treasure, it's a map to find the key (no pun intended... I think... ) to the treasure. I'm not certain as to whether this kind of topic has been posted previously or not, but I don't really care. This is something I wanted people to know about. Peace! Hazimie 1,595 Posted July 18, 2014 I must say, this makes sense, since that Data that Ansem give to Riku are might be useful after all... 1 Yuya Sakaki reacted to this

LeYenrz 276 Posted July 18, 2014 Thats what i've been thinking for quite a while. And this post just made me remember that. Thanks And to build on that thought based on this post i made the other day: Well i know that, but it sorta bemuses me as to why people dont really forge their own keyblades like they did before the Keyblade war era. What if the data informs Sora and Co. how to forge the Key to Return Hearts. It would be a refresher and sort of a plot twist for some since it would be going against what people are expecting. And not to mention it would be quite a special event since no one has forged a keyblade since ancient times. But maybe there would be a few elements that Sora must accomplish before being able to forge it which would put the game into a nice pace. What do you guys think? 1 Yuya Sakaki reacted to this
Exiblade7 1,917 Posted July 18, 2014 This is possible. After all he did say that Sora will free everyone from their hurt in kh3 so it would make sense that the key to return hearts is inside of Sora all along. 2 Yuya Sakaki and KingdomHeartsSora reacted to this

This would connect to the idea of the data being the 'map' to the key. Assuming the Key to Return Heats is an actual Keyblade, it could work. Kingdom Hearts III is meant to tie up all loose ends right? So this would be perfect to explain the origins of Keyblades, and how they're forged. Peace! Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted September 21, 2014 People... do you think that the newly announced Secret Movie in 2.5 as well as the new content could elaborate on this? I find it probable... Peace!
