Kingdomhe 1,362 Posted July 11, 2014 Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai explained on Miiverse that instead of revealing the new character through something like Nintendo Direct (which are often pre-recorded), Nintendo will live-stream the unveiling. It will take place Monday, July 14, at 7 a.m. PDT. "Looks like we're nearing the bottom of the stash of new challenger videos that we've made," Sakurai wrote. We'll probably get one last trailer next month, and maybe one early September before the game's released in Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if they showed Chrom next month. We've got this for Shulk, and Chrom's just sitting back with no hints at all. Knowing how Sakurai likes to do things, he's pulling the strings here again. He specifically stated that Namco Roulette wheels through 1980s characters, but Taiko is from a 2008 rhythm based video game for the Wii. He even pointed Taiko out.
