FINAL FANTASY IX released 14 years ago in Japan

Recommended Posts

That's right, FINAL FANTASY IX released 14 years ago today, in Japan. Since then all we've had is the English version and the PSOne Classic. Hopefully a HD remaster like the ones VII and VIII got is in development for PC.

I don't like the remastered PSOne chapters. They are expensive and, in my opinion, a better definition ruins those games' graphic.I'd love a remake of them, but it's impossible, I think.

What? You're saying you don't like the PC versions of VII and VIII? That's fine but for a lot people they're so much better since it's a HD remaster and for people in Europe or Australia it means they can play the game at the normal speed and without black bars on the top and bottom.

What I mean is that they can't keep sail the boat in the "old game HD remaster" sea.I mean, every year they sell a new Final Fantasy remaster of remaster for pc, smartphones, and only God knows what. It's enough for me: I'd prefere to see all the people who is paid for remaster game working on the new Final Fantasy chapters, making minigames and stuff. And they are too much expensive.I wouldn't care, if I were not still waiting for FFXV and KHIII. I don't like what SE has become and I've fear for the KH's future.

Oh my god...

The point of a HD remaster is to allow a new audience to enjoy the game/s.

Most remasters, remakes and ports are outsourced so it usually won't take up another team's time. The Osaka team is really the only team who does everything themselves now.

Expensive? Lol. The PC versions of VII and VIII are only like $15.99 in Australia. Lol.

Again, the people who work on the HD remasters of FINAL FANTASY games DO NOT work on FFXV or KH3.

For example:

Matrix Software did the HD remasters for V and VI.

Virtuos and the XIII team handled X/X-2 HD Remaster.

Square Enix Europe handled the PC versions of VII and VIII.

And Square Enix's Mobile Division did the HD remasters of III and IV.

It's perfectly fine if you don't like remasters, but don't worry they won't affect FFXV or KH3.

I was saying that I would prefere to see those teams working together on FFXV, making it as better as possible. Also, I love the ps2 remakes, I just don't like what they did for the ps1's and previous chapters. However, it's useless discuss about this: SE needs money to create new titles and the remastered games are a big help. I just hope they will make a wise use of all this money.

Remakes? They aren't remaking anything.

These teams DON'T work for Square Enix. The people doing these HD remasters might have no clue about the hardware anyway.
