Firaga 5,947 Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) I feel bad for my boy Kirito right now. He's basically been Rule 63'd. Also, that English speaking NPC robot cowboy had to be voiced by freaking Patrick Seitz, I swear to God. If you haven't seen the first season yet, I recommend looking into it. The first arc is considered the best from what I've seen (Going off of the Light Novels), though the second arc is kind of lacking (It's certainly not lacking in fan service, though... Blegh). Still good, but a lot of stuff that it didn't really need. 1 atheist123 reacted to this

Still good, but a lot of stuff that it didn't really need. I will try. I can only watch so many anime at a time though. I've been watching Chaika the Coffin Princess recently which has been good. I go to an anime club at my University so the anime we watch is democratically decided... which means spoilers for SAO Edited July 28, 2014 by atheist123 1 Shulk reacted to this
DxBEATLESxD 12 Posted July 28, 2014 Omg yes just.....yes, I loved the first season of sword art online and this season is NOT disappointing me so far it has story, action, and progress. the 3 things i love from the first season. I will always love sao no matter what but this season surpassed my expectations thats for sure.
Dr. Shimo 202 Posted July 28, 2014 I honestly agree on some of the stuff about fan service in the second arc -_- I did think the Sugu thing was a little odd overall. It just didn't flow; however, it still had a nice outcome. However... I love how they had Oberon (forget his actual name) basically reflecting many of the viewers thoughts of Asuna and showing how creepy they can be overall, despite that it made him even more of your creepy villain, those last moments did manage to make me to really want Kirito to jump up and beat the snot out of him!! And so far in SAO II, I'm liking the new girl character 1 Shulk reacted to this
Matthew Stocker 0 Posted July 29, 2014 I'm psyched but don't know if they are gonna bring back asuka for the actual game part. and he always seems to wind up meeting a lady friend or two, like he will probably be friends with the green haired girl. and probably have some romance there, so that seems a bit over done in anime

Cucco 1,907 Posted July 29, 2014 I know hating on SAO is the cool thing to do on the internet, but this is legitimately extremely generic.
Shulk 8,623 Posted August 10, 2014 So, just saw the new episode... This might be the best one so far. I loved the backstory Kirito had with the Laughing Coffin guild (Bonus points for Aincrad flashback), and the moment Kirito and Sinon had during their fight. It was also really interesting seeing the psychological trauma Kirito had to deal with after killing three Laughing Coffin members in the virtual world. Also, Death Gun is as scary as ever. Can't wait until the next episode! I ended up looking at my computer during the ending though, and missed the title of next week's episode. Anyone able to tell me what it was? Tigerruss 576 Posted August 11, 2014 (edited) Hmm, after watching some of SAO II, it appears Kirito is either a Jedi or a Sith. And based on his choice of colors, I think he is a Sith! (edit: though his blade isn't red. D:) Edited August 11, 2014 by Tigerruss

The next episode title is Crimson Memories. I'm really liking this arc. Death Gun is actually a pretty terrifying villain, and I think the tension Kirito felt while facing him was well represented. I was not expecting him to be a Laughing Coffin member. Kirito pulled some smooth moves on Sinon in their battle, I was chuckling a bit (while thinking, dude, you already have girlfriend ). The episodes go by too darn quick. x_x 1 Shulk reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted August 11, 2014 I just saw the new episode too. Boy, was it intense. Also: I'm calling it. That kid that Sinon knows has something to do with Death Gun. He's way too conspicuous not to have some kind of secret agenda.

He's way too conspicuous not to have some kind of secret agenda. Also in the theme song her friend is holding out his hand to her, and then the frame burns away to show Death Gun. So yes, there is a good chance that Death Gun and Sinon's friend are connected.
Shulk 8,623 Posted August 24, 2014 Didn't get around to seeing the new episode until today... Regardless, here are my thoughts! Kirito's girl impression has been perfected. He HAS to have used this somewhere else before, there's no way he can already manage to manipulate guys with it after a couple days. Anyway, the finals of the BoB started, and things are looking intense. Pale Rider was cool, and Death Gun's still scaring the crap out of me. Then ending of this episode was really tense, can't wait to see how things turn out next week! 2 Soul Eater Evans and Firaga reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Good episode, but damn that cliffhanger. Now we have to wait a whole damn week to see whether or not Sinon "taw da shaw" on Death Gun! DX (That's an SNL reference btw. Also, whether or not she does shoot is irrelevant. Death Gun is gonna find a way to troll us all out and dodge the bullet. ) Also yeah, Kirito was rocking that girl skill a little too hard. I mean, LOOK AT THIS: http://oi58.tinypic.com/242c1li.jpg The hell man?! XD Edited August 25, 2014 by Firaga Sensei 1 Shulk reacted to this
