GummiBear64 0 Posted July 9, 2014 It's not the best game in the series. IMHO, out of the four games I have played, it'd come in number three. -KH1 -KH2 -KH Re:coded -KH CoM Could be way better, storyline wise AND gameplay wise.
Dave 5,715 Posted July 9, 2014 I still think it's a pretty solid game. The variations of gameplay from level to level were actually very refreshing, and presented a change from just mashing X all the time. It kept you on your toes more, and also made each world visit more of an experience. Also, the keyblades were probably the best in the series, as the boosts they gave really effected your style of play, and made you pick your weapon wisely. As for story, I think it works. The entire plot with Sora's Darkside is probably one of my favorite story elements in the series, and is something I'd like to see take a step further in the future. Not to mention the lack of Xehanort makes things infinitely enjoyable. 2 Zola and HarLea Quinn reacted to this

Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted July 9, 2014 The game had me going WTF on the Data Sora part at first, but it wasn't a bad game. The Traverese Town missions were annoying, but the hedge maze in Wonderland was pretty good. All in all, was it as GOOD as the first KH? No. Was it a bad game? Also no. liamaru 294 Posted July 10, 2014 i like its sphere grid system or chip grid system depending on how you look at it
Squall Leonhart 49 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) i pretty much feel the exact opposite of how i feel about RE:CoM Story wise? it's not that great but the i think that the gameplay is great hell i'd even say it's a bit better than days gameplay wise honestly i don't get all the hate for it sure the story not that good but it was fun and i like what it did with each world having a different gameplay style. and i loved how keyblades did something other than just increase magic and attack witch is something i'd love to see go into KH3 Edited July 23, 2014 by Squall Leonhart
Marco Basile 47 Posted July 28, 2014 (edited) There where times I could really enjoy Re:coded and I have restarted playing it several times, however I have only finished it once. I can really get into the system sectors and everything but then somewhere in the game it just starts dragging them out too long. The story is really weak, but I do really love the way you love abilities. Talking about the story, it's not very important... But if you're a KH fan, you shouldn't miss it (even if it's not the best game ) Edited July 28, 2014 by Marco Basile
Aru Akise 2,540 Posted July 28, 2014 Only cared for the secret ending.
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted July 28, 2014 I felt that Re:coded was fun, but not entirely necessary.
Geotrix 862 Posted July 28, 2014 RE:Coded gets way too much hate. It's a fun game in its own right, implementing the command board and making for a fun time. Some of the world gimmicks are bland and annoying (like the turn-based olympus) but apart from that it's fun. The most common complaint with this game is the story and I don't find it THAT offensive since its a retread of KH1s story pretty much. Sure it's unnecessary but I'd rather an unnecessary story than a bad/boring one (which in my opinion is Days)
Kodakliv 558 Posted July 28, 2014 It had it's moments like facing Riku a whole bunch of times with each version getting tougher. The story was interesting enough.
FutureKeybearer 36 Posted July 28, 2014 I really like the game. Technically, yes it is the worst in the series, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's just the least good.
Gamerazor247 877 Posted July 29, 2014 It ain't bad, gameplay is really nice. Just the cutscenes and graphics and storyline bad, but overall good
VeNate13 144 Posted July 29, 2014 I've been playing it lately and I think it's pretty fun! Sure they're are some frustrating things about it like fighting in hollow bastion part 1 or not being able to do certain things until after the game, but it's nice that you can replay an episode if you want to. I'd consider it a pretty good game actually.
DxBEATLESxD 12 Posted July 30, 2014 My general opinion is that i didnt like the game due to the mini games but i liked the story a bit so yea i like the game.
Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted July 31, 2014 I've played the game only once since it came out, that same year. I never bought a copy, I played a friends. I loved it, actually. I didn't really like the Virus-world parts (where you find a hole and you go to this other world) but I enjoyed story and gameplay. I agree with what was said earlier, about Data Sora being forgotten and abused. I don't remember a lot from this title, since it's been awhile, but I loved it all the same. Keyblader_95 1,410 Posted August 1, 2014 Re:Coded has the funniest gameplay in the Kingdom Hearts Saga so far and it's definitely not unnecessary since it HAS a plot and it IS relevant. I've found it pretty much interesting and the plot is also moving at times.. It has nothing less than the other installments, in my opinion
Lalalablah 1,538 Posted August 1, 2014 I never played Re:Coded so I don't have a solid opinion of it yet. Based on the few scenes I've viewed online it looks alright. I can say though I'm looking forward to watching the cutscenes in KH 2.

AuraAce 1,126 Posted August 15, 2014 A complete pile of shit. Platforming, Non-existent. Gameplay, a complete copy/paste of Days but worse. Graphics, shit beyond belief, don't use the excuse "Oh but it was on the DS" No. Days had Semi-Decent graphics and it was on the DS. Story, completely unnecessary. Overall, a game not needed. But that's just my opinion.
LeYenrz 276 Posted August 17, 2014 Truly. It's only the gameplay and that...FEELY ending that holds this game together.
