The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted June 30, 2014 Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, I've been thinking a lot ever since I read a topic in here about the Seven Lights possibly losing the battle against the Thirteen Darknesses, and I remember that I had commented on that topic, and the reply I left is a reply I think deemed worthy enough of it's own topic. So then, as you all know, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the final game in the Xehanort Saga, and thus, a new arc will begin after Kingdom Hearts 3 ends. What we don't know is how that'll go about. Sure, we know Xehanort will die...but at what cost will it be? You see, this is the biggest battle that Sora and friends will be in, because it's a battle that will not just stop Xehanort for good, but it'll determine the fate of the worlds and change the course of everything. We know that the Seven Lights and Thirteen Darknesses will clash, but all evidence in the Foreteller's script and the KH3 teaser seem to indicate that Xehanort will win. While we know that probably won't happen, I'm thinking that the battle will be of such utter chaos, that many lives will be lost, and lives will be changed forever. I have to ask myself how Sora will be able to handle it all. Sure, he's a happy go lucky guy, and he's always optimistic and he has a serious sense of justice...but what if the final battle gives a heavy toll? What if the price to pay for stopping Xehanort for good is the loss of his friends? The very friends he's protected over the years? If the victory of the Seven Lights is attained by the sacrifice of many, Sora could ask himself the question: "Was all this worth stopping Xehanort? Was the cost too much to pay?" After seeing all the pain and suffering his friends go through to ensure the peace of all worlds, I think Sora will eventually turn his back on the light and become the antagonist of the next saga. So technically, Nomura would keep his promise of keeping Sora as the main character, but not necessarily as the hero...think about it. Please don't hate me for this, this is all just mere speculation, but wouldn't it be interesting for Sora to turn face after the final battle, therefore teasing us for Kingdom Hearts 4? Or will he disappear unexpectedly, and when you find him in the later games, he's the villain? I know it's probably unlikely, but then again, Nomura is a twisted man who loves to add plot twists when you least expect them. For all I know, I'll probably be wrong about all of this, but in any case, I'm gonna be the one calling it! Sora will be the villain of the next saga. Kaweebo 3,617 Posted June 30, 2014 Yes to all, except the 'change everything' part. Isn't the whole point to PREVENT Xehanort from changing everything? 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

I meant change the course of everything regarding the heroes. Sorry that I wasn't specific. X3 1 Kaweebo reacted to this
Caity 3,946 Posted June 30, 2014 I thought it was inevitable that characters BESIDE the villain should die in KH3. Death needs meaning again and what a simple way to make it more dramatic than others in the series by having the death of a "main" character who's on the side of good And IMO regardless of what happens it will be worth it to stop MX, cause either way if they did nothing he'd be coming after PoH and shit causing a whole war anyway. Leaving him to his own devices will cause pain just for years to come to many people, new and old 2 The Transcendent Key and Exiblade7 reacted to this

SirDucesXIII 33 Posted June 30, 2014 Sora can be main character, but we get to be another character who Sora meets and he likes to drink a lot, and he fights dizzy. Sora will try to sober him up by giving him water so that he won't be so dehydrated. Lol 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
ChildOfTerra_FriendOfRiku 135 Posted June 30, 2014 I never thought of that... but DANG, I could potentially see that happening!
SorrowSurvivor 191 Posted June 30, 2014 That is interesting . Maybe Sora could decide the he wants the power of Kingdom Hearts to try and bring back his fallen comrades plus any others injured OR use the power to completely force out the darkness everywhere( which is bad since there needs to be a balance) which means Sora even has to wipe out people like Riku who use darkness for good and maybe blow up the Realm of Darkness while he's at it. Thus begins the Seeker of Light Saga! Another take on consequences could be that Sora gets some kind of disease/curse from the final battle that causes ruin and darkness to happen where ever he stays for too long. Then he would decide to venture off(maybe with Riku and Kairi) to constantly keep moving to avoid bringing ruin and to search for a cure. He could then start using his ruin-bringing powers on evil people and become a kind of anti-hero when he goes overboard. Seeker of Ruin Saga!!! lol
D0G3 66 Posted June 30, 2014 Should I be concerned that I actually like this idea? I'd love an evil Sora! But I'm a Sick Derangement Person, so That shouldn't be THAT concerning.

Then, RIKU could be the one to save Sora THIS time around like Sora saved him!! It would be so firetrucking EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think about it: If this comes to happen, a cool way to do it would have Sora be the villain throughout the entirety of KH4 so that the whole game we're rooting to get OUR their best friend back!! And just when we think he's gone forever ( omg T_T ) Riku and Kairi try one last way to save him not knowing what will even happen and Sora's like looking down panting, and he looks up....and cracks a joke or does something silly related to the situation like always. x D like faking to be all evil still and slowly walking towards them all suspenseful-like while maybe saying a fake evil line; something like "you really thought that would work, did'jya?" but intentionally making it sound all corny, then just be like "Haha! Did I fool ya? xD" Riku&Kairi: "WTF Sora!! >: O..........O_O............OMG!!!! SORA!!!! : D" *ORGASMIC happily-ever-after Kingdom Hearts music ensues*. *Rainbows SPEW out of every firetrucking crevice from my body*. Am I alone in how obsessed I am with this series?
