Music (TWEWY) The Death March (Music Group)

Recommended Posts

For those of you that listened to "The World Ends With You" or played the game might be aware of a band Takeharu Ishimoto started, who composed most of the TWEWY music. The band is called "The Death March" which relates to a band in TWEWY called "The Death March," or "Def Merch" in english version.

The Death March composes of Takeharu Ishimoto, SAWA, T$UYO$HI, ZAX, Ko Kanza, Katoutarou, JUNYA, and Stephanie. They played TWEWY songs live on special Occasions. And went on hiatus for some time. While I was checking out Facebook, I came across "The Price of Freedom," by Takeharu Ishimoto, and decided to give it a listen, which linked me to an official SE page for The Death March. The website stated that the album will release on 9/17/2014. This means that The Death March is still active and creating music.

This could also mean that Takeharu Ishimoto is possibly working on a soundtrack for the next TWEWY game. Please do not take it seriously though. But It's nice to see that the band is still alive today.

Anyways, the page only shows the members of The Death March in different forms, but you can hear a remastered song that everyone who played FF series has heard of "The Price of Freedom," and here's a kick: IT HAS VOCALS, and it matches the guitar lead greatly. I think it's in Japanese though. Check it out though.

P.S. if you can hear the lyrics clearly, Can you tell if they are in Japanese or English? I sometimes hear both. Post your idea of what the lyrics are if you can hear it in English.

OH geez, TWEWY AND Crisis Core (Specifically my favorite song in that entire game) together...? INSTANT LIKES FROM ME.

Also, it's English. Kinda hard to hear at times, though. I always have trouble at picking out lyrics while listening to a song. xD

Wow, cool. It's actually pretty good!

I hope they're gonna make some great music. Maybe something TWEWY related, too, though I'm one of those rare people that don't want a TWEWY sequel. I just think the game works so well as it is.

That's how I was for a long time, but I'm at the point where I just want more of the game. ._.

: D Good point. That would definitely be awesome, but I'm just too afraid they'll ruin the game. Since TWEWY doesn't actually need a sequel : /

I'm just waiting forward to Shibuya in KH3, since it has to be there. ._. If not, well...
