Okay, so I can see a several possible release years for KH III and I've worked out how Nomura can meet them while keeping both the "One game a year" plan and the "No new games 'till KH III" promise.

 

2015- Simply do no more and release KH III here. This is highly unlikely, bordering of impossible

2016- If he makes a third collection consisting of the three Nintendo games in playable format, or if he ports a 1.5+2.5 collection to the PS4 he can make this deadline.

2017- If he doesn't make a third collection, but ports 1.5 to the PS4 next year and does the same with 2.5 in 2016, ore makes a third collection then ports all three in one the following year he can release KHII then

2019- If he makes a third collection next year, then ports one collection every year after that, then KH III can come out at this time.

 

Personally I don't see it coming any later than 2018 but to do that he'd need to deviate form the "one game a year" plan

I see a 2016 release date for everyone! I see a FF15 release date next year. As he stated that FF15 will be out long before KH3

He won't do it on it's own. In Japan, Re:CoM was the "+" in "KH2 FM+". It was only America that got it separately. EU and PAL regions never got it at all until 1.5 iirc.

Point being, if he does remake 3D for the PS3, which is entirely possible, it will most likely be included with at least one other game.

i did theory on that i was predicting that square would release it on the 13th anniversary of kingdom hearts but i'm being optimistic. your probably right about 2016- 2017 for the release.

Because of this it wouldn't surprise me if Kingdom Hearts 3 did release next year.

but I feel like if next year he ports either one or both of the HD collections that will just be a cop out I'm ok with not getting a Kingdom Hearts game for a year if it means it will make Kingdom Hearts 3 come out the following year.  but if he dose want to keep his promise with a KH game every year then maybe they could possibly release a collection of the DS games for PS3 or even PS4. but we will have to see what they plan to do with KH in 2015 as much as I would like Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out that year it seems very unlikely so maybe at Jump Festa we will get something but probably not.

I'm not being negative or speculating, I'm just stating what Nomura has to do in order to keep true to both his previous statements. If anything I'm being realistic.

That would be funny if it did release next year, and they did confirm at E3 that KH3 is in full swing right now. But I'm still going with late 2016 just because KH games take at least 2-3 years to make.

Re:coded and 358/2 Days playable? LOL. Nomura has already said it would take the time of making a whole new game. Aka they would have to remake it. And quite simply that would delay Kingdom Hearts III and take much more than a year. This "one game a year" idea someone made up doesn't exist.
