What if Saving Aqua is not Easy?

Many Kingdom Hearts fans imagine and guess how could Terra, Ventus and Aqua return. Many people believe that Aqua's return should be the easiest. Why? The reason to this is Lea. As shown in Dream Drop Distance, Lea still had the ability to summon corridors of darkness (Dark Portals) that could lead them to the Realm of Darkness and find Aqua there. I've been thinking that this may not be possible.

 

Now I don't think this is possible for one reason. At the end of Kingdom Hearts 2, Riku lost the ability to summon the dark portals. I noticed that he started to wield the Keyblade not long before he realized that he could not open portals.

 

Lea now also wields a Keyblade. I believe that Lea's Keyblade is one of the Realm of Light and not one from the Realm of Darkness, like those of Xehanort and Vanitas. What if because Lea now wields the Keyblade that he can't summon any of the portals of darkness? I would believe this to be a very interesting twist of events.

I thought Riku lost his ability to summon dark portals because he was exposed to Ansem the Wise's exploding encoding machine, not because he wields a keyblade. It would be interesting if Lea lost his ability to summon dark portals but I don't see any reason why he should have lost this ability.

I don't think it'd be the easiest, just that logically she should be first, to go for Ven and then strength in numbers when it comes to Terra.  If Lea can't do it (and I don't know why he wouldn't the whole "Dark Rescue is my middle name" screamed it, could always extract Namine from her complete self like they're doing with Roxas and Xion from Sora and have her make them.

There's no confirmation that MX or Vanitas have a Realm of Darkness Keyblade, the only one we have ever seen that's been confirmed is Mickey's.  I presume it's assumed 'cause they're "evil" and it's got the name darkness, but it's realm doesn't reflect the motive of the wielder so anyone can do all sorts of cruel crap with a RoL keyblade and all sorts of good stuff with a RoD keyblade.

Aqua will be the first, not the easiest. And Lea can try to convince Even and Ienzo to unlock DTD for Sora, Donald and Goofy enter in the RoD.

I don't know how it'll work, but I think this is the best way to go to the Realm of Darkness.

Aqua will be the first one who gets save, I believe it's Sora who will save her because one, she's connected to Sora's heart. And two, it's been hinted that Sora will have the power to find, save, and re create the people who were lost or though were lost. And I hope finding Aqua won't be easy because I want Kingdom Hearts 3 to be a challenge, I want Sora Donald and Goofy to go through some obstacles in order to find the realm of darkness.

Yeah, I don't think having a Keyblade from the RoL automatically bars you from being able to open CoD, nor does having a Keyblade from the RoD automatically enable you to because, while Mickey can travel through them with no ill effects, he cannot open them himself. I think you just need an unusually high affinity for darkness. Riku can no longer do it because, while he can still channel darkness, after the Kingdom Hearts Encoder exploded and wiped what was left of Ansem from his heart his affinity wasn't high enough, but Lea's is because he still has all his Nobody powers, though it's not as safe for him as it used to be because he got his heart back. And i havn't seen anyone say it would be easy, just that she needs to be saved first because without her, they can't find Ven and without them (and Riku) it will be difficult to save Terra. Personally, I think Lea should team up with Kairi to save Aqua. and Even if getting to the RoD is easy, that doesn't mean finding and saving Aqua will be. The RoD is just a big and a lot harder to navigate than the RoL and hoards of Heartless will instantly and relentlessly attack anyone who enters, especially Keyblade wielders.

 

Also, we don't know what kind of Keyblade Vanitas has (though it's probably from the RoL if he follows Nobody rules, i.e being able to wield a Keyblade because the person he was created from could) but it's stated in the Xehanort Reports that Master Xehanort's Keyblade is a Keyblade of People Hearts, not a Keyblade of the Realm of Darkness. (which he got by his future self performing the Inheritance Ceremony on his younger self by possessing said younger self with future self's heart)

My theory in regards to this is that someone from the New Organization is going to open up the corridor in front of Sora and company that takes them to the realm of darkness. Of course, Sora won't know that a Xehanort did this if it suddenly appears in front of them, which would lead to more conflict. Aqua is the only way that Ventus can be found, and if Xemnas still has plans for Ventus, perhaps they want Sora to find Aqua so that she can lead them straight to Ventus and suddenly, the Norts can steal him as Aqua reveals his location. That's just my theory on how this whole scenario will go down.

What if one of the 13 darkness members got send to the realm of darkness to destroy Aqua so that they can't find Ventus? It would awesome to fight Aqua then fight the member of darkness in a group fight with Aqua.

It would be a nice way to fight what one of them look like under their hoods.

Well how did Mickey find himself in the RoD in KH1? He obviously didn't use a CoD cuz he can't use those! So however he did it that's how they can save Aqua!

If what you're saying is that saving Aqua would be difficult because there's no way to open a portal to the Realm of Darkness, then you make a valid point, however, a door to the light could be used too (like at the end of KH2). As to how they'd open it, no clue, but it is an option.
