Welcome to Kalos, a region like no other, it contains nearly every Pokemon imaginable with other having been seen in the care of travelers from distant lands. Within Kalos, like most other regions is a series of gyms with their individual leaders, 4 elite trainers, and of course a champion. And seeing as many new trainers are about to begin their journeys i think its time for a new tale to unfold. A tale that threatens to break the boundaries of life and death itself. And like every good story, there is always a beginning. This one, starts with a letter.

 

 

 

 

 

Rules:

 

1) have fun- dont worry about how things work out cause to every problem there is a solution

 

2) no killing without permission- nomally i dont like to use this rule as death is apart of everyday life so yeah but since this is about Yveltal death with eventually be iminent.

 

3) be nice about stuff- no explanation there

 

4) keep a slow pace with the obtaining of pokemon, also combat is a long process so be read for a lot of posting

 

5) when you finish your character sheet type in Life Or Death at the bottom

 

6) no controlling other people without permission this includes their pokemon.

Personality: Riku John is a very cheerful person. He always like to uplift his friends whenever they lose, and he's sorta happy-go-lucky. he's super friendly, and is the King Of Style.
Bio: Riku John is from the Unova region. He had moved to Vanville with his family, because they had heard how great the Kalos Region was. So when Riku John had went to go catch some pokemon he had caught a Pidgey and named it Ongell. This Pokemon  is very special because it was Riku John's first pokemon caught in Kalos .

Name: Amber

 

Age: 15

 

Personality: Amber is a cheerful person who loves to sing and travel. Many have started calling her Songbird as a nickname. However, be warned. If you get on Amber's bad side, she can be a pain in the butt. Amber longs for adventure and to find new pokemon to befriend.

 

Bio: Amber was originally from Luminose, but she moved to Vaniville Town because of her fathers work and her mom and grandmother. Amber's mom used to be a chef, but Amber can't cook very well. Ambers dad works at a power plant. Amber's grandmother lives in Vaniville town also; she owns the house next door. She was given a bracelet and wants to find out what it means and what it's for.

Personality: Is brave kid with a timid, and feared side after hearing the frightening stories of ghosts in the pokemon tower, and any grave sites.

Bio: Cecil is a descendant of the dragoons who uses dragon pokemon, and charizards one of those he is name after was the leader that uses a Mega Charizard X. His starter pokemon, and best friend Charmander was hatch at the same time as his birth. When his day of becoming a pokemon trainer has come he decline the pokemons he is offer, and decided to the Charmander he had since birth.

Name: Maple Rocecrant

 

Age: 14

 

Appearance:

 

 

 

 

 

Personality: Quick-tempered. Meticulous yet insouciant when it comes to matters that involve other people. He treats pokemon and humans differently (externally and internally). He is understanding,sweet and soft-spoken to all pokemon,especially his (to him pokemon are worth more than any human life). To other people he can be mocking,crude,a bit to honest,and at times cold-hearted. Only when he gets mad at other people does he show his heartless tone and attitude,not hesitating in poking the wrong buttons over and over. (This has gotten him in trouble multiple times)

 

Bio: Maple was born in Celadon City all the way over the Kanto Region. Named after the color of his hair matching the color of the leaves of the maple tree. His mother was a pokemon coordinator,and his father was a professional photographer. When both parents were away (which ended up being more than they expected) Maple would be left alone for months on end,which made him very independent from an early age,yet extremely lonely. School wasn't much help either,as he was constantly made fun off because of his unusual colored eyes and hair (They would call him "Tamato Boy" after the berry). Worse was when he was made fun of because of his name,to which everyone teased was a girl's name. (This caused him to come to hate his name) Because of this he would get into fights atleast once every two weeks. In the afternoons and weekends when there were no parents to comfort him,and no children to tease him,he spent his time playing with pokemon at the local gym,considering them the only ones he could trust. He lived this way in Celadon City until the age of 10.

 

Around that time his parents announced that they would move to the Kalos Region,where his father received a contract with a photography company and his mother would set off on yet more adventures as a pokemon coordinator. It was a long move,and through it Maple developed a sickness that only made him twice as stubborn,but eventually they made it to Aquacorde Town where they got a small apartment. The moment they moved in the moment his parents went off again and the cycle started all over. By this point he had decided that he wasn't going to treat humans as nicely as he did pokemon,because "humans don't deserve to be treated as nicely if they aren't nice to themselves". He quickly made a name for himself around town,pushing the wrong buttons in all kind of situations,getting him in multiple fights and troubles. It was in one of these instances where he met his first pokemon. He was ready to fight off against a group of kids the same age as him after he had made one of their sister's cry when a shadow appeared behind him and with glowing eyes,let out a scary growl. The kids ran off terrified. Maple turned to encounter the figure,only to see that it was a Shuppet. He thanked the Shuppet for its help and offered it a home. The two have been friends ever since.

 

Eventually around his 13th birthday his father came to celebrate with him and Shuppet (the mother was in the championships at the time). That's where his father promised him that he would retire as a photographer for some time and stay home with him from then on,that all he needed was to do one final job by taking pictures of these "shiny pokemon". Maple has never been happier. But fate had other plans as his father would leave for his small journey and never come back. After a small investigation no clues led where he went or ended up,much to Maple's frustuation. Now at 14 years old Maple is ready to leave on his own,his Shuppet and him against the world. His mother as always on her trips as a pokemon coordinator,and his father still a missing person,he has nothing to lose in this journey. If he think his life is hell as it is,he is yet to realize how deep the world can fall into depravity.

Fun facts:

-Though he never admits it outloud,Maple likes his father over his mother because he has more memories with him than with her.

-Maple developed a sickness through the journey from Kanto to Kalos. With no certain diagnosis,all that is known is that whenever he is pushed Beyond his physical limit,or when he gets too exited when his heartbeat goes beyond its limit,his heart strains and produces excess blood that will come out from any external entry. (such as nose,mouth,eyes and ears). His father constantly worried that one day his heart would explode.

-To him a single pokemon life is worth more than 10 human lives.

-It has come to Maple's conclusion that Shuppet helped him because he was attracted and feeding off Maple's negative emotions towards humans. (Pokemon entry states as such)

-Shuppet tends to hide under Maple's shirt if the day is too sunny for its liking.

-Both Shuppet and Maple are mischivious,making them a deadly duo if they decide to pull pranks.

-Maple's worst fear is that something bad will happen to Shuppet and/or that he will lose him or any pokemon he holds dear. Encountering his mom on his journey is his second worst fear.

Name: Locke Devaugre

 

Age: 17

 

Appearance: Locke stands at 6.2 ft tall with almost white- blonde hair that goes straight down to his shoulders, he has a white coat, lined with silvery markings that look like unknown, his pants are black and he wears a grey t-shirt under the jacket, a necklace around his neck holds a dog tag that has small unkown writing that is read down ward. In total there are 4 lines of writing on the back of the dog tag. His eyes are purple and he wears regular tennis shoes.

 

Personality: Locke is personally enigmatic towards himself and others, he travels with faint aura of melancholy, yet his face is always smiling, although his eyes usually appear to be blank. He is a nice person but prefers to stand by his pokemon more than other people. He has alot of passion for just travelling and learning about new pokemon and things about pokemon. His eyes reveal how keen and truely observant Locke really is, especially in battle.

 

Bio: Locke originates from the Johto region, specifically, CherryGrove City. He has an odd facination with ruins as well as things from an ancient time. Due to this, after traveling through Johto he arrived in Kanto and headed to Mt Moon to do some digging, his finds came up to his liking as he found a Dome Fossil. Later he Headed to catch a Ferry that would take him to Cinnabar Island where he first met his Kabuto. The two were perfect for one another, both odd and mysterious. Afterwards Locke travelled to Hoenn and added Braille to his collection of ancient languages, later learning more from the Battle Pyramid Leader, Brandon. While learning from Brandon, Locke developed his own battle style. It involved using defensive attacks as an offensive attack. His first combo being a Aqua Jet + Protect missile-like attack.

 

Later on Locke traveled onward to Sinnoh where of which he learned more of the Unkown, he also took great interest in the Sinnoh Time Space Legend. This gave him keener insight on ancient myth and lore. He was 15 when he decided it was time to leave Sinnoh. It had been 5 years since he left CherryGrove and so he decided to head back home. When he got there, not only did he find out that his family was moving, but he learned of the reason being that his grandfather had died. His grandfather had been no doubt his favorite member of the family. Locke's love of the ancient and mysterious legends were all because of the stories he was told by his grandfather. He learned that his mother had also left his father a few months before this happened. These three facts troubled Locke. It is around this time that he became rather enigmatic and quiet. He told his father that he would see him again at their new home in Kalos maybe in a few months. He then left and headed to Unova. Once again making himself far more knowledgeable of the ancient past, but this time he learned more than he had expected from a boy, named N.

 

Locke met N inside of a ruin near the pokemon League where he learned about the connection between people and pokemon. He learned how to slightly manipulate the bond he shares with his pokemon to understand Kabuto better. Locke eventually was able to comprehend what his pokemon are telling him as well as how to express his emotions to his pokemon and vice versa. His path with N split when he found himself alone on a Summer afternoon with no N in sight. the next day was his 16th birthday. It was also the day he left for Kalos and his new home. He arrived and did not explore. He just arrived home. He was now the newest resident of Vaniville Town. He gain a passion later on for art and began to decorate his room with the markings of the unknown and the legends he learned about. He drew people and pokemon he met with great skill. But his melancholy grew each time he came back to the death of his Grandfather. He knew he went to Unova to run from his Grandfather's death. He was a coward and didn't stay for the funeral. He ran. Like his mother whom of which he dislike quite a bit. Still he did not show it to others and kept smiling. He walked around town but never did he leave without his Kabuto.

Kabuto was an odd one when it was revived. It already knew aqua jet for unknown reasons. This added to the mystery surrounding the pokemon. And added to the excitement of battle for Locke.

Personality:

Bio: Leo was born to the rich, renown Marigold family in the Hoenn Region. The Marigold family had a history of strong trainers and Locke was no different. He was a genius when it came to battling. He always came up with strategies to battle. The only problem was, at the time, he had no pokemon at all. Riolus were rare in the Hoenn and finding one was close to impossible. However, at the age of 12, Leo found an mysterious egg one rainy day on his way home. He had no idea what it was. He took it home and took care of it until it hatched. To his surprise, it was a Riolu. Since then, Leo had been training with Riolu. The two makes a strong team.
