Ninkoro 123 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone, all of this 2.5 talk has caused me to remember something about my very first playthrough of KHII. I first beat the game when I was 12 or so, and I remember telling my friend who had gotten me into KH about it. He told me about hidden bosses like sephiroth and such, so he came over after school that day to show me where to find him. Much to his surprise, sephiroth wasn't there. He doubted that I beat the game, but I showed him that I could access the final save point before the "no turning back" door. He checked to see if I had beaten space paranoids for the second visit, but there was no event when we got there. Eventually, we found out what had happened... I can't remember specifically which world it was, but it seemed I had only completed the "2nd visit" for the first few worlds and had somehow bypassed the rest and went straight to The World that Never Was. I've tried to google this multiple times, but I have never been able to find an explanation as to how this happened. Anybody else have the same thing happen to them or knows how this occurred? TheOriginalBob 110 Posted June 26, 2014 You can access certain worlds after certain points in the story. For example after completing both Halloween town and Agrabah for the first time you can go straight back to Twilight Town and then Hollow Bastion. After completing the worlds on the second visit you can access Twilight Town again to access the mansion and the path to the World that Never was, skipping Pride Lands and Hollow Bastions third visit. In fact it is entirely possible to complete Kingdom Hearts II without setting foot in the Pride Lands.
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted June 26, 2014 Just visit all of the worlds like the game WANTS you to do. Clear each one the first time before the Hollow Bastion Heatless attack thingy, then after clearing the 1000 Heartless battle visit each world again. By the time you clear Hollow Bastion and Space Paranoids again, Sephiroth should be there.

I do remember though that it was a good portion of the game I had missed. Where did you find out about this? Edited June 26, 2014 by Ninkoro
ChildOfTerra_FriendOfRiku 135 Posted June 26, 2014 In fact it is entirely possible to complete Kingdom Hearts II without setting foot in the Pride Lands. Wow. Kinda weird wen stuff like that happens, isn't it? I think I heard somewhere that you can complete KH1 without finishing the Monsto level or sealing Olympus Coliseum's Keyhole... I may be wrong, don't quote me on that.
