"This has gotten ridiculous." Zather commented as he stared at one of the green foxes. "I thought Zion said she didn't like Wonderland,"

"These aren't from Wonderland." Annistha pointed out.

"Yes, but the whole set up is Wonderlandesque."

Annistha shrugged.

"Point."

Zather sighed then paused. Something was off. And he wasn't thinking about the odd wild life. Recognizing that Zather was going into "hunter mode" for some reason, Annistha stepped in to give her brother some time.

"I'm with Vay on this." She commented. "It's either that or throw bread at these guys."

 

{Claire}

Claire frowned. She had been hoping for something on Lumina she could use to better understand the one in her dreams. Both she and Lightning were always at odds. Fun verses duty. Enjoyment verses cold devotion. Self verses others.

Putting her frustration aside, Claire looked down on the de Wynter estate. She had seen the edges of the property as a child when her parents brought her and Serah to the beach, but the air view was the true way to appreciate the grandeur of the place.

"Wow!" Was all she could manage.

The group followed the Ninetails to Wynterfall. When they got there, Sam notice how impressive the building was. "Well, we are here. I guess we can just go in now." Sam said. She looked around, but still saw no sign of Davis. 'He will show up, right?' Sam asked herself in her mind.

The Lifeforce foxes led the group through the gates. The seashell path winded through a magelight lit courtyard, with fountains and other beautiful sculptures, some of Xion, a few of Luna. One was Lightning, sword raised...in her Miqo'te outfit. Other great warriors, such as Saber Lily from the world of Fate, Kirito and Asuna. So many famous warriors, their stone counterparts unmistakable.Zion landed at her front door. "Welcome to Hero's Path. My friends, colleagues, and fellow warriors all have a statue here. It reminds me that I never won a battle alone."She opened the ornate doors to show a pristine warm gold enterior. "Welcome to this fifty room twenty five full bath five story five kitchen mansion with a lot more." She pulled Claire in. "Find a kitchen and relax. I'll get the pizza going."

Aeronus looks at the sculptures with amazement on his face. He folds his arms as he looks around the courtyard. He is excited to be in the area with his group. He looks at the fountain excitedly as well. "This place looks AWESOME! I wonder how Zion made all these sculptures." Said Aeronus, talking out loud with a cheerful and excited tone in his voice.

Sam looked over at Aeronus. "They are pretty impressive. It's almost like you can feel the presence of the person the statue represents." Sam said with a smile. She then walked inside and found a kitchen. She sat down at a table and waited for some food. While she waited, she pulled out a book about the worlds in full detail. 'We have to learn where we are headed after this.' Sam said in her mind.

"What the heck? Where am I?" Kohaku asked. "Oh wait, this the Twilight Town beach..Well, after recent events, it would be nice to take a break!" Kohaku said, as he got closer to the water.

Annistha occasionally glanced at her brother to see how he was doing. He had a focused look on his face, though what he was focusing on was anyone's guess. Annistha had seen Zather go like this before, and it usually ended with him saving their lives or finding something important, so she let him do his thing.

"To pizza!" She declared, doing so to have people focus on that instead of her brother and because she was rather hungry.

She paused briefly, noting some visual similarities between a member of the party and one of the statues, before heading inside.

Claire stared at the statue of Lightning till Zion pulled her inside. It was odd for the teen to see someone she always associated with function over form wearing an outfit like that. More and more, Claire felt sure that the Lightning Zion knew and the one she saw in her dreams were different. But there had to be some sort of connection between the two. Between Lightning and Claire herself.

"Excuses me." The pink haired teen said, and parted the group for a bathroom.

She looked in a few doors before she found one. She went inside and locked it out of habit. Stepping over to the mirror, Claire pulled her vest open and untapped her shirt enough to see her birth mark. She and Serah had matching ones, hers on her chest and Serah's on her arm. The mark had been what their mom had described as an eye. Now, Claire could see it was bigger and looked like a crudely drawn intricate design around the "eye".

"L'Cie..." Claire murmured to herself.

Aeronus looks around at the sculptures, still in awe of looking at them. He walks forward, looking around the mansion with a smile on his face.  He folds his arms behind the back of his head as he looks at several paintings. He feels his Heart beating in excitement as he looks around the mansion. "This place looks awesome, just look at these paintings. They look so real." Said Aeronus, talking to himself out loud.

"They very well could be." Said Vay, behind Aero. Vay had followed him into the mansion. "That type of magic is possible." He then went to the kitchen. "As I said. I'm no fan of pizza. That's why I have my muffins. However, I think I can allow myself to have some. And I agree, we should learn about the worlds we are going to be visiting." He then looked at all the books. "Interesting. A book on anthropology, my favorite subject. For now, I'll stick to more worldly literature."  He thought to himself, as he got a copy of the book Sam was reading.

The World of Inner Darkness

 

As Alisar watched the man be devoured by heartless, he felt relieved. This man had destroyed the kingdom that Alisars father had built. He was the man responsible for the death of his father and rest of his family. And most importantly, he was responsible for taking Radiant Garden away from him. But he wasn't all that bad. Alisar knew why the man took him to the Realm of Darkness the night of the rebellion. He had hoped that through teaching him by himself he could remove the 'filthy' blood from him. He wished that he could've made him a better man, someone who would embrace the light. But unfortunately for him that was not possible. It was also him who came to see him every now and then to bring news to the Realm of Darkness. It was him who told him that Radiant Garden was now Hollow Bastion, and that there was some kid running around with a keyblade.

 

Alisar took a look at his keyblade, he felt more comfortable with it now, it felt like it finally belonged with him. Of course he still missed his fathers spear, but the truth was that what he wants to accomplish could've never been done with it. For the road is dangerous and a spear wont stop other keyblade wielders. "But now, there is something I need to know." Alisar opened up a corridor and went inside it, heading to the World of Knowledge.

"One second," Atlas said as he raised his sword. Leon materialized himself into a dragon and took to the skies. "It wouldn't be fair to use anything magical," Atlas said.

He got into a fighting stance. "Don't know if I can beat her without a weapon. Might as well try," Atlas said to himself.

Come at me.

 

Rini looked at Atlas like he was an idiot, but started charging towards him anyway, she drew her Scythe back once he was in range, then swung it forwards towards him at a strong fast swing.

Davis had followed his Ninetails to the beach when he stopped and looked at Kohaku. 'That boy, his light and darkness, they collide perfectly.' Davis said in his mind. He walked over to Kohaku. "Hello, I noticed that you are a warrior against the darkness. Am I wrong?" Davis said with a smile.

 

 

Sam looked more detailed into her book. "Okay guys, occurring to this book, the next world we should take a look at is Experimental Islands. There seems to be a creature there that is going to try and bring the world into darkness." Sam said looking at her book.

Rini looked at Atlas like he was an idiot, but started charging towards him anyway, she drew her Scythe back once he was in range, then swung it forwards towards him at a strong fast swing. 

Atlas leaped out of the way keeping his distance from the scythe. He needed to get a little closer to Rini. However, knowing Rini, she wouldn't let that happen so easily. Atlas bit his lip. Aeronus looks over at Sam with a smile on his face. He also thinks about the next World that he and the others may go to next. He folds his arms to his chest as he looks on at paintings after listening to Sam. He also looks at the gardens from a window. "Zion really has a nice place here." Said Aeronus, talking to himself out loud with a cheerful tone in his voice.

Atlas leaped out of the way keeping his distance from the scythe. He needed to get a little closer to Rini. However, knowing Rini, she wouldn't let that happen so easily. Atlas bit his lip. He gave her one heck of a handicap. He had an idea. Atlas charged headfirst towards Rini. Only now, at the last minute, he slid past her to get behind her. He jumped up and aimed a knee at her side. He had a plan.

 

Rini got kicked to the ground, but rolled herself up quickly, swinging her Scythe at Atlas again.

"Good try Atlas, but I am pretty fast." she said with a smirk.

"Oh I haven't forgotten!" Atlas said. He quickly moved in, getting hit with the snath of the scythe and moving with the momentum. He grabbed Rini by the shirt and threw her over. Falling himself, he quickly pushed the scythe a few inches away from the two with his foot.

Rini winced a bit, looking at Atlas.

"I will let you win only because you didn't have a weapon." Rini sighed, dropping her scythe and looking at Atlas. They were a bit close to eachother, which made Rini a bit nervous.

Atlas laughed a little. "Yeah I guess so," Atlas said. He knew he couldn't seriously beat Rini unless he used Leon or any type of magic.

Atlas noticed Rini's blushed face. "Rini are you okay? You seem a little red in the face," Atlas asked. Looking concerned, he pressed his hand on her forehead to check to see if she had a fever.

Rini sat up quickly, looking away from Atlas.

"I am fine, don't worry." She said with a smile.

He was just a bit too close to her.

She let her scythe fade back into light, standing up and reaching a hand to help Atlas up.

Atlas nodded and took Rini's hand. He stood up. "Ah I should be starting my mission about now," Atlas said.

He pulled out a cell phone and pushed a few buttons. A black and gold motorcycle appeared shortly. "Rini meet the Photon Chopper" Atlas said getting on the motorcycle. "you getting on?" He asked her

Rini faceplamed, then looking at Atlas. He had way too much cool stuff. All she had was her rabbit and her scythe.

"I suppose, overachiever." She said with a snap, hopping behind Atlas.

She didn't even wanna worry about safety right now. She rather fly off and die then be embarrassed again by him.

Soon enough, the smell of pizza filled the entire floor, especially the dining room and bathroom. Zion would be in nothing but an apron, cooking, as a few foxes piled fresh clothes on a counter. Finally turning, she let the pizza set before dressing in...well, it's Zion. After the underwear was on, daisy duke shorts and an oversized T-shirt that fell almost to the frayed ends of the shorts completed her ensemble, the shirt matching a pair of black camo sneakers.

Zion hefted the XXXL pizza into the dining room and set it on the table.

"Dig in. I can make another."

 

She grinned, then johhed away to the bathroom, where she knocked.

"Claire. Pizza is ready."

Annistha arched an eyebrow.

"Experimental Island?" She repeated. "Haven't heard of that one."

She glanced over at Zather, who was looking frustrated. He looked up at her and shook his head slightly. What ever he had been sensing, it had eluded him. That worried Annistha.

Both twins brightened up at Zion's announcement if pizza. Not worrying about plates, they moved quickly to the pizza and grabbed a piece each and munched happily.

"Thank you!" Annistha said around a mouthful.

 

Claire snapped out of her musing about her changed birthmark by Zion's knocking.

"Coming." She answered, zipping up her shirt and pulled her vest closed.

She unlocked the door and opened the door, giving Zion a nod.

Sam got a slice of pizza and began to eat. She then looked at Annistha. "Well the world has been in existence for a long time. It is unsure if Sora ever went there, though. Experimental Islands is home to surfers and monsters that are friendly. The monsters weren't always there though, the monsters actually come from Deep Space. And there is one monster that caused all the monsters to be released into Experimental Islands, giving each of them a good home and place to belong, a little blue experiment named Stitch." Sam said while eating her pizza and looking into her book.

Aeronus is seen eating pizza, as he listens to what Sam is saying. He smiles as he hears about going to another World. He can feel his Heart beating in excitement. He is also wondering what he may see there. "That sounds like an awesome World to go to. Imagine seeing local surfers, and the wild sea life." Said Aeronus, talking to himself out loud.
