Rini was wondering through the streets of Traverse Town, picking up a few things as she was walking. "Ms. Rini!" she heard a kid yell. A little boy and a little girl whom Rini knew."Oh, hey Sasuke and Akira. What is it? Koemi asked."Will you buy us some ice cream please?" Akira asked, holding out some money. "I will." Rini said with a smile.She bought the two, and her some ice cream, the three sitting down and eating it together.

(....... .... .... I'm not gonna ask )Atlas could be seen walking the streets of Traverse Town to the ice cream shop. He had to meet a friend before he started the mission he was hired for. He finally saw his friend, Koemi (spell check), eating ice cream with other children. He waved in her direction. "Oi Koemi!" Atlas yelled out to call her over.

Atlas sighed. He hadn't even noticed that he was late in meeting Rini. "Can't I ever keep track of time?" Atlas muttered to himself.

Atlas walked over to meet Rini halfway. "Hey Rini! I came to see you today before I start my mission!" Atlas smiled at her. "Maybe we can go get something to eat if you're not full already or hang out," Atlas joked. His mission started in about an hour. He figured he could make it in time.

Rini looked down at her stomach. She was already full. She looked at Atlas.

"Maybe I can help you with your mission?" She asked.

She wasn't weak and had nothing to do. So why not?

Atlas thought about it. It was going to be dangerous. However, Rini wasn't weak. "Hey Leon, what do you think?" Atlas said looking down at the sword on his side. "If you were hired for this job, then you should have the freedom of doing it any way you want. As long as it's complete, however," Leon replied. Atlas' sword was also a dragon, so it had a mind of its own. "Plus, I like Rini," Leon added. "Didn't have to add that," Atlas muttered. "Oh. I'm sorry, I forgot to mention....." Leon began to reply but was interrupted by Atlas punching him on the hilt. "You wanna go?" Leon threatened. "Anytime," Atlas remarked.

 

The little scuffle was broken when the two noticed Rini was still there. Atlas imagined her confusion. He cleared his throat. "Yes, you may come with me," Atlas answered her question. "But.. my mission starts in an hour. What'll we do till then?" Atlas asked.

Sam located Annistha, Zather, and Aeronus from where she was with Vay. Sam took a bite out of the muffin after saying thanks and then called out for the group. "Hey Annistha! Aero! We're over here!" Sam said calling the group together.

 

Davis jumped off of the table he had landed on and located a nearby skate board. "Skating at the beach, awesome!" Davis said as he hopped on and road the rails of stairs headed towards the beach.

 

 

At the Usual Spot, there was no one for Kohaku to see when he opened the curtain. Only trace of anybody being there was Claire's things and a magic bean left over. A voice called out to Kohaku in his head. "Take the magic bean, step on it, and think about the beach." the voice told him.

"Lightning...she was a Sergeant in the Guardian Corps. She was a model soldier, strong and powerful. But she then betrayed the Guardian Corps to save her sister, who was going to be Purged. The Purge was done to destroy all l'Cie in the world that did not belong to Cocoon."

She paused.

"Lightning and a group of close friends fought long and hard. Prevailing, two of Light's friends sacrificed themselves to save Cocoon, and all who remained inside it, when it began to fall to the world of Pulse below. But that wasn't the end of the journey."

 

"A man named Caius Ballad came. Cursed to watch a girl named Yeul forever die and reincarnated, to just die again, he destroyed the Goddess Etro and forced everyone to a life of immortality. Those who died...their souls would be lost forever, with no chaos to be reincarnated from. Your sister died in her journey to stop Caius, and you failed to stop him after she passed during her final battle. Crystlalized, my Lightning was awoken by God to save everyone. But not the dead. I was there fighting in the background, and as Lightning and her world joined, I stayed apart. They made a new life, and I became crystal like her."

 

Zion's abridged history kinda done, her grip tightened a bit.

"After she woke up to become the Savior, I met her. After seducing her and having some amazing sex -" She blushed. "After that night, we were close friends. And uhm...well...she was dear to me. Like all my friends, that intimate or not, she is what empowers me." The girl flared and began to land. "I am being honest with you, because...I want you to be my friend. No bed involved, I promise."

But hope.

Landing, Zion looked as everyone was having some fun. "So...want to walk or fly to my estate?" she asked Claire, having not stopped hugging her.

Aeronus smiles at Sam and Vay as he waves at them. He walks over to them, and puts his hands on the back of his head, smiling at them. He is still excited about what just happened. He looks around the beach for any sign of Davis, and looks back at Sam. "Hey guys, the fun way was AWESOME! At least almost all of us are here, but looks like we'll have to wait for or look for Davis, since he said the magic beans are unpredictable." Said Aeronus, talking to Sam and Vay with a cheerful tone in his voice.

"While we wait for Davis, have a muffin. They're good for you." Says Vay, offering Aero a muffin. "So where did the bean take you?" Asked Vay, as he started to make figures in the sand with his Masamune.

Radiant Garden (Approx 200 years ago, alternate reality)

 

"And now, let us crown our new king, ruler of the Radiant Garden, son of Aesur, heir to the throne. Alisar the Great!" The crowd cheered as their king Aesur gave up the throne for his child, Alisar. The people of Radiant Garden thought that they finally had their king who would only lead to great things. Soon the crowd seemed to materialise into thin air and formed something else.

"See the unseen past." A loud echoing voice travelled through the emptiness.

The alleys of the world were burning, the people were dying, while Alisar sat there wondering what to do. It was almost if he had given up, and he had. He didn't care. His era of rule was chaotic, and it only had lasted a few years. He just sat there, and looked at the world fall to darkness.

"Do you see it now? What kind of king you would've been like?" The loud echoing voice once again floated through the darkness, and soon he started to wake up.

"Where am I?" Alisar said in a sleepy voice to himself as he rose up to his feet.

"Oh, here." He said to himself in a disappointed voice as he realised he was in the World of Inner Darkness.

Aeronus smiles at Vay appreciatively, and nods at him to thank him as he takes the muffin he offered to him. He looks at the ocean and back at the group. He is still wondering where Davis is. He looks at Vay again as he takes a bite out of it. "Thanks, I was feeling hungry. Well, the bean made me fall out of the sky and land face first into the sand, it was fun." Said Aeronus, talking to Vay.

"You're welcome. I always carry a stash of muffins with me, in case of muffin emergencies. And about the beans, after my first experience with them, well, I'm just going to stick to corridors." Says Vay, to Aero. He then proceeds to take his shadow, make a cupcake out of it, throw it in the air, and slice it in half with his masamune.

He got into a fighting stance. "Don't know if I can beat her without a weapon. Might as well try," Atlas said to himself.

Annistha waved to Sam's greeting and the twins walked over to meet up with the others.

"Good trip?" Zather asked, sounding almost cheerful.

The Light Twin gave him a sour look before sighing.

"So, who's got the directions from here?"

 

{Claire}

Claire listened carefully to Zion talking about Lightning. She didn't recognize some of the names and terms Zion was using, though the word "l'Cie" stuck in her mind. She remained calm with a neutral expression, except at two points: She flinched when Zion referred to Serah dying, and she looked momentarily looked surprised at the mention of Lumina.

"Did she...did she save her Serah?" She asked quietly.

She glanced down at the others on the beach.

"I'd rather keep flying." She said absently.

After a moment of silence, she spoke again.

"Thank you. I...I haven't had many friends in my life. It's nice to have one now."

Zion kept flying.

"She saved everyone." Zion reached up to ruffle Claire's hair. "She was a hero. And you can be one to." Zion smiled.

"And...I need to explain something. The reason I had kissed you." She blushed. "To make a long winded exppanation short, intimacy helps recharge my energy. It is the second most efficient way to regain energy, and since I already know you, via my Lighting - to an extent - I figured kissing you would work. And...it did." Zion circled twice, then headed off down the beach, far from the boardwalks. "And the spot on your chest that glowed is where Lightning had her l'Cie crest...I really should know." 

 

Zion said no more.

"A hero." Claire thought. "Just like the Lightning in my dreams looks like. But...the one from my dreams is so cold and stiff. Are they even the same?"

The pink haired girl held on a little tighter with the two circles Zion made. She felt a little relieved by Zion's explanation of the kiss. Helping refill some sort of power gauge that way she could handle. Other ways...she wasn't sure she could. Everything she had cared about in more then a causal way before had been taken from her. She wasn't going robe hurt like that again.

"Glad I could help." Claire replied. "If you need another recharge like that later, go for it. Just warn me next time."

She was about to ask about the glowing on her chest, but Zion got in ahead of her. Claire had always had a birthmark there, but it hadn't glowed before. She would have to look at it when she had access to a mirror. Again, the term "l'Cie" seemed familiar.

"Okay, can you tell me about this Lumina you mentioned?" She asked.

Sam noticed Zion flying above the group, when Zion passed by the group, Sam sent a message into Zion's mind. "Where are we supposed to go?" Sam asked Zion in her mind.

 

Sam then looked to the others. "I have not the slightest clue, but I sent Zion a mind message asking where we are supposed to go. Our best bet is to wait here and see if Davis pops up." Sam said.

 

 

Davis was riding the rails of stairs on his skateboard when he noticed a man staring at him with a black orginazation hood on. The man quickly left when he noticed Davis saw him. Davis decided to follow the man to a hidden alleyway and finally caught up with him. "Now tell me, why were you staring at me and who are you?" Davis asked having his keyblade ready. The man in the hood just stood there. "Can you feel Sora?" the man asked. "Feel Sora? I am blood of Sora!" Davis said. "Prove it, a war is coming, and the hearts of others are unaware. Go out there and seal all the keyholes you can, save the light. Only you can save them all." the man said as he disappeared. Davis desummoned his keyblade and looked confused. "A war is coming? Seal all the keyholes? Save the light? I'd better tell Sam about this." Davis said as he headed for the beach as fast as he could.

 

 

Instead of going to Destiny Islands, the magic bean took Kohaku to the beach at Twilight Town.

The World of Inner Darkness

 

"Do you now understand my concerns? Why I think you should stop chasing your dream and just live your life?" The dark figure said to Alisar. He stood near a cliff from which he could see thousands of heartless and nobodies down below. "Nothing good would've come out of it, and nothing good ever will. That is why I orchestrated the rebellion all those years ago."

 

Alisar sighed as he turned to the man and told him: "I don't give shit about your 'visions' of what would've been. All they are is smoke and mirrors, something to make me give up on chasing what is rightfully mine. So no. I will not just give it up and live my life."

 

"Fine, I will just have to eradicate you then. Shame really, you could have been something." He turned around and took a few steps forward, but Alisar didn't seem to budge. "I really don't want to do thi-" the man didn't get to end his sentence, as a heartless had appeared behind him and pierced him right through his chest.

 

"Oh right, I should've introduced you to him. This here is Kestrel, or his heartless. I still am having hard time understanding this all." Kestrel pulled away his sword from the mans chest and disappeared. "But, ho-" The man didn't get to finish his sentence this time either as Alisar interrupted him. "You see, I found out that when I pierce a living person through the chest with this keyblade of mine, he appears to become my pawn. Of course it seems that the ability is limited to only once, which is a shame, but I can live with it."

 

Alisar started to walk closer to the man, and the man started to take a few steps back. Unfortunately for him Alisar caught him by his throat and told him: "You never should've gotten on my way. You never should have orchestrated the rebellion that almost got my bloodline extinct." He then pushed the man down from the cliff, down where the heartless and nobodies were.

"Hang on." She said suddenly. Wings flaring to fullest, she streaked across the sky, leaving a blazing phoenix outline pointing down the beach. Zion had used Phoenix Burst to speed to her massive sprawling mansion.

"And there they go."

 

Little green foxes with ninetails suddenly appeared around Davis and Sam and the others. Dashing around, they brushed against the wielders, and the biggest spoke to them in their minds.

We are the Lifeforce Foxes of Summoner's Spring. We have come to take you toWynterfall, the de Wynter's ancestrial home.

 

They would then herd the group down the beach.

 

"Lumina is..." she pauses. No. No, Claire had her own journey.

"Lumina is someone you have to figure o ut. I can't give you all the answers. Just some. And hugs and kisses." She gri ned.

"Welcome to Wynterfall."

"Ninetails? What curious creatures." Though Vay, as they appeared. "I don't see a vale anywhere, though" After listening to what the ninetails had to say, Vay decided to follow them. "What could possibly go wrong?" "I can only assume I'm not crazy, and these ninetails are speaking to us through telepathy. I suggest we follow them." Said Vay, hoping he wasn't going crazy.
