Reversal 53 Posted July 28, 2010 I LOVE the songs but rly kh shold have a bigger variety than just those 2 :v I mean rly , they don't have time to make a new song ? Every game should be more unique than this =/ But I don't mind enough to get irritated , I still sing along happily =D Utada refused their offer for reasons which have already been mentioned several times in the thread. Basically, it's partially due to the fact that Disney was asking too much and not paying her enough, and how having to go through the stress and trouble of translating a song from one language to another, and causing the song to lose it's original meaning in the process was too much for her to go through. Though I guess if you want to "blame" someone, you can also put some on Nomura because he's very stubborn
Maffy 45 Posted July 29, 2010 Aww , I'm sry :0 I didn't read the whole thread o-o That's pretty sad :v So I guess no more new Utada kh songs ? ;~; They should compromise ! And rly Sanctuary doesn't have that many lyrics to be a pain either way :v But yeah , I kinda agree abt the loss of meaning when it coems to Simple and Clean . The content was dif enough But mehh , it's all abt the money nowadays D; Nomura should find a way to convince her D;
Reversal 53 Posted August 9, 2010 http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-08-09/singer-hikaru-utada-to-go-on-indefinite-break-in-2011 So this pretty much confirms that she won't be returning. Oh well, we all saw it coming.
Mog 97 Posted August 9, 2010 It just won't be the same without Utada......
Amon 4,279 Posted August 17, 2010 I wish they would make use of the orchestral version of Simple and Clean. The only time I ever remember it being played in the game is when you leave the main menu in KH1 on too long and it goes into cutscenes of the game accompanied by that music. The normal versions of those songs you listed are starting to get on my nerves though.
Godot 513 Posted September 20, 2010 They should just get someone else to sing the openings. I was never a big fan of Utada's voice to begin with.
Sephiroth991995 2 Posted September 20, 2010 Uh I say it's fine. I love Utada's voice.

Zexion's_Lover_46 76 Posted September 20, 2010 I liked the songs, it just goes with KH. It's fine the way it is.
DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted November 19, 2010 Either disney should get over it and get a new singer, or get over it and pay utada more. Even though the songs are cool and all, THEY ARE TOO REPETITIVE!!!!!
HelpMeRan-Sama 141 Posted November 19, 2010 I don't care lol But I really do wish they had Sayuri or Yuki to sing the openings lol
Tails 6,690 Posted November 19, 2010 I say it's fine the way it is. We don't really need another song for the KH intros. So it's fine the way it is^^.

I like the orchestra idea but I liked the Passion one better! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAPvE2BaEew I really would like them to use this if they were going to change it but if they use the same old Sanctuary or Simple and Clean I wouldn't really care but the Passion orchestra is just EPIC

Reversal 53 Posted November 20, 2010 keep utada make new song She's on hiatus from singing for an unestimated period of time. And if/when she does return, I doubt she'd agree to write another song for Disney.

Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted March 23, 2012 Well it seems that we only get new songs for numbered titles so I'm hopeful that we will get a new song for KH3 even if they have to use a different artist.
heyitsdeven 131 Posted March 23, 2012 Something different would be nice!
Junko 2,815 Posted March 25, 2012 Yeah. The same two openings would get annoying after a while. They might try something new for kh3
FireRubies1 1,325 Posted March 25, 2012 I love those songs... maybe they could use orchestra versions or the last game (KH3)
