Smithee 327 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Having Master Xehanort as the final boss might be predictable but it makes sense. I'd rather have that than some last minute asshole being behind all of it. In Avatar: The Last Airbender, throughout the entire series we knew Fire Lord Ozai would the final boss, and knowing that didn't ruin the story at all. A story shouldn't be predictable because then things would get boring. But it just seize being predictable on some occasions. If you have to many twists and turns you'll get a M.Night Shamalamadingdong story. Edit: Also, we still haven't seen enough of Xehanort as he was during his time as Ansem's apprentice. I still find it weird that he didn't return in KH3D. When Ansem and Xemnas was defeated Apprentice Xehanort is the version that should have returned. Oh well, they'll probably explain that later. Only we rarely saw Ozai until the last episodes, while MX has been in-your-face for a few years now. Also, Ozai's plan with Sozin's Comet was only revealed at the end, while we already know MX's plan with the 7 Lights and the 13 Darknesses. Ozai was present throughout the third season. He began appearing in the later acts of the Avatar series, much like how Xehanort didn't appear until a few games into the series. Cricket 1,180 Posted June 21, 2014 I want MX to be the final boss and then we have a secret boss that is unlocked after completing the storyline(s?) introducing the next antagonist in the future of the Kingdom Hearts series after the Xehanort Saga. Josuke Higashikata 2,141 Posted June 21, 2014 I would like Xehanort to be the final boss, but if SE decides to do the whole, I-am-just-a-puppet-of-someone-else thing, I think the most likely candidate would be his master. I could very easily be wrong though.
Ninkoro 123 Posted June 23, 2014 The sixth lost master, Xehanort's master, will be the final boss. He has been trapped in Kingdom Hearts all this time, waiting for the X-blade to free him. MX completes it, and the 6thLM is able to escape and also harness KH's true power. Oh, woops, spoilers.
carlo_VEE 1 Posted June 24, 2014 I think it would be likely to have Xehanort as the final Boss then another twist happens after defeating this guy. Although I don't think many will be interested much if there will be a sequel to KH3 again..
SkyEmerald 73 Posted June 26, 2014 I'll like to see the final boss be a fusion of all the Norts in terms of the powers he wields. He could have a whip sword like Keyblade, attack using beams of light, use a Guardian like thing to throw Sora and Co. around, etc. As for how he looks...perhaps he'll look like his young self? Or a more aged but not necessary elderly Xehanort.

What if they do something like that, kind of like they did with Ansem in KH1? You fight MX in his normal form, and then he goes into some kind of Final Form?
