Evraius (RP)

Recommended Posts

Sanya faltered. Doctor dead. Herseld trying to contain power, her one shot to end a threat. She felt Sandrew's blade glowing. Wind. Where the wind blew she had appeared. Town after town was her home, country after country her cause. Now she had no where to go; all she had was this final attack.

Seeing Warthrup's eyes open, Sanya retreated and alid down beside him, pushing his book to his hands.

"Go on. Whatever you do, I need but a single shot against Kinzoku. Ryu...Evra...I have power and I cannot hold it." She stood, her figure glowing. She let the Doctor do his thing, and slid beside Jasper.

"Dcotor is about to do something. Work with whatever he does. I need a single shot: Ryu and Evra supercharged me, and I must release...even if it kills me."

(A little mood music.)

Amber was done for, and she knew it.

The shrapnel had hit her all across her left side, causing her to bleed out in several parts of her body. Frankly, she was lucky one of the pieces hadn't gone into her heart or head, killing her instantly. Or unlucky, she was in too much pain to tell at the moment. At this point, there seemed no way she could be saved in time, especially since their only healer was nowhere to be seen. It wasn't a matter of whether she was going to die during this fight, it was a matter of how.

It was then that she saw Kinzuko and some of her allies fighting right next to her. At first, she had no intention to interfere, thinking that she'd simply get in the way at this point. But then she saw Jasper charge at the wicked Kamyn. His head clearly wasn't in the right place, as shown when Kinzuko disarmed him with relative ease. It was then that Amber knew what she needed to do. Gathering all of the strength that she could from her dark form, Amber jumped to her feet, charging towards Jasper and their former ally. As Kinzuko sent her blade straight for Jasper, Amber tackled him out of the way, and the blade plunged through her sternum and out her back.

Jasper could hardly believe it when he saw Amber standing next to him, a metal blade in her chest that, if it wasn't for her, would've been in his. He was able to come to his senses just moments before she would have hit the cold, hard floor. As Jasper looked into her eyes, he saw something he didn't expect: peace. There was no fear, or grief, or regret in her eyes, only peace. It wasn't that she wanted to die, but she wasn't afraid of it ether. She knew it was her time, and was content. She made a weak smile, as if to say that that it was okay, shedding a single, solitary tear in the process. Her eyes fluttered shut, and she breathed her last.

And Jasper didn't even know her name.

He was snapped back into reality by Sonya, "Doctor is about to do something. Work with whatever he does. I need a single shot: Ryu and Evra supercharged me, and I must release...even if it kills me."

"Alright," Jasper choked out as he set Amber's body to the floor and rose to his feet, "but remember, death lasts forever." he then picked up Sky with his left hand, and Blighter with his right. But this time, Sky felt different, as if he and the blade shared the same power. And for whatever reason, he understood why.

He didn't know how, or by whom, but Jasper was certain of one thing. Kinzuko wouldn't make it out of this battle alive, not if he could help it.

looking to Kinzoku's attack Tristan could suddenly feel his strength increasing "(what the...no now's not the time to think for now act)" suddenly driving sandrew's blade into the ground before kinzoku's attack could reach him tristan roared out "Incineration wall!!!" suddenly and with incredible heat a wall of flames burst into life infront of tristan blocking all the shards coming at him not only melting them but altering there direction the flames making up tristan's flame wall burst from the ground with such heat and speed they managed to alter the trajectory of Kinzoku's attack forcing all the metal to the roof of the room as Kinzoku's attack ended Tristan suddenly burst through his own flame wall carrying his sword and aiming for Kinzoku "What ever you guys are planning aim it towards my sword i can get close to Kinzoku faster then she should be able to react and i can slightly control the flow of the Nano nullification of my sword now if all of you release your power into my sword at once we should be able to merge our powers for a one time shot to cut down Kinzoku for good"

The Doctor looked over the pages. This was his only chance now. He used the last bit of his power, to summon The Beast. ... .... ... Nothing happened. No behemoth, no dragon, nothing appeared. Save a vial, containing a small amount of black liquid. The Doctor stretched his hand out, and smashed the vial open with his fist. The glass cut him, but it didn't matter. Nothing would matter if he didn't get to the liquid. The contents of the vial began to spill over the floor. The Doctor hesitated for a moment. Then he licked up some of the liquid. Instantly, the Doctor felt his energy be restored. His bones mended, cuts healing. The Doctor stood, stronger than ever before. He spotted something in the ground in front of him. A sword of ice, the name Sandrew carved into it. He pulled it out of the floor with his newfound strength, and looked around. Where was she? Aha. Kinzoku stood, preparing a counter to Tristan. Faster than ever before, the Doctor launched himself at the girl. He made contact, swinging his blade like a bat. It connected, Kinzoku went flying, and the outer shell of the blade broke off, leaving a freezing cold, razor sharp straight sword in his hands. Kinzoku hit the ground, and in a second the Doctor was on top of her again.

"Let me tell you a story dear Kinzoku. Once upon a time, people lived in fear of the greatest monster of all time. The Great One. It's scientific name was Typhoneus Magnificum. The Great One would appear every once in a while, then disappear for decades. Catching the Great One became every Monstrumogist's dream. The Holy Grail of Monstrumogy if you like. Well, it appeared in a distant land a couple of years ago. Being the cocky scientist I am, I went in search of it. What I found was horrifying. Every person for miles, in a complex state of being. They were clearly mindless, their only goal seemingly to search for prey to infect. They were infinitely stronger, faster, and more durable than a human. I assumed that this state was caused by the Great One, a poison of some sort to create easier prey. I searched that land, combatting those things for months, looking for the Great One, assuming that he would come back for his prey soon enough. It was only when a comrade came, Jack Kearns, that I realized the truth. These people were the Great One. Typhoneus Magnificum is not a a wild dragon or a grand beast, but a small infecting agent that turns their host into something mightier than any ordinary monster. Shocked by this revelation, I completed documenting the species, then returned home. I never spoke about my discovery. If you are wondering why this story is relevant to you, them wonder no longer. I have infected myself with Typhoneus Magnificum. In but a few moments, I shall lose all semblance to a human, for the extraordinary healing capabilities, speed, strength, dexterity, super senses, stamina and vitality come at the price of my most prized possession. I shall no longer be able to comprehend my surroundings logically. So, my dear, Typhoneus Magnificum, Will Henry by my name, will be the end of us both." The Doctor lectured Kinzoku, his blade at her throat. He glanced back to the others around. Emert, Cornelius, Drale, Tristan, Jasper. "Farewell and Godspeed to you all." The Doctor said. He looked back into Kinzoku's eyes, and his own eyes became clouded over. The second that happened, Kinzoku kicked up launching the Doctor back for a second. Kinzoku stood. In a primal rage now, the Doctor punched at Kinzoku. She dodged it, but his fist went straight through the wall.

A crowd began to gather at the edge of the ship's ruin. Nearby a broken spot of land lay where the great Evraius mount once sat.

The crash had gathered people of from all around to this spot. They dared not venture near the battleground in the center of the huge battered metallic seed ship, but they watched with hesitation... and fear. The Kamyn.... killing so many of the climbers before their eyes. Their numbers grew as they watched on silently.

Evra face was agape. He watched, and as he did the emotions of all those around the world reached him. And he felt it. In every blow struck. In every life snuffed out. The intensity of the nanomachine use around him flooded his own mind with the emotions attached to those machines. And he felt every death. Every sacrifice.

How many had climbed this mountain?

How many set off only days ago bright-eyed and anxious to change the world?

And now those who contested the gods could be counted on one's hands.

"This isn't..." Evra stuttered... words were... never this difficult.

"This isn't how it should be. I... cannot find any ability to stay impartial. Not with this pain. Not with this hurt."

In these last moments of the climb, Evra was filled with the memories of every climber and Kamyn left alive. The treacherous journey they took to get here. Friendship. Love. Betrayal. All of that, and for what? Would it truly amount to nothing? Would these new gods win and simply begin a new rule?

And for the first time in his entire life, Evra, truly made his own choice.

"I will give you whatever power remains in my reactor, climbers.... please... please end this. Stop this cycle. Stop this..."

He had seen too much. Endless cycles of his masters destroying lives and happiness. No more, though. He would help to break the cycle of Evraius, or he would die trying. The reactor speed up it's motion, and nanomachines flowed from it. It seemed to bring Evra pain to force the nanomachines from going towards the Kamyn as they were programmed to, but he did his best. It was his hope, at least, that it would be enough....

It was all he had....

It was all humanity had anymore. These people... these few... it was all that was left of hope for the future.

(Sorry if this seems undodgable Yuffie, but this is literally pages of charging and power being dumped into her from Evra, Ryu, then Evra again...)

Evra's decision was her catalyst. As the Doctor attacked Kinzoku, Sanya was there, her speed unmatched. In her ha ds was Veritas, the Blade of the Wind. And it was aglow with blinding light. Her entire body was glowing. Just like the cabin...

"NO MORE!" She screamed, blade descending upon Kinzoku with every fiber of her being. "SANDREW DIED TO END THIS! I WON'T LET YOU SOIL HIS NAME!"

But even she was having trouble remembering. And as Veritas descended at Kinzoku with more power then even the explosion of the cabin, Sanya was visibly tearing apart. Clothes, skin, hair. Her body was disintegrating at the enourmous power that had been given to her by Ryu, Sandrew. Evra. With every AI she could summon and every piece of energy possible, she brough down her blazing sword, aiming to destroy Kinzoku...and possibly most of the area around her.

Evra had been right. Her attack would have been needed. And with her final strike, her final act, Sanya swore to avenge the fallen.

"My death will be a monument to all your sins!"

Varion gritted his teeth. He had been watching these climbers. Judging their capabilities and ability to fight. He had scrutinized their every movement. Gauged the ways he could end their lives. He hadn't expected them to have this much will....or the fact that Evraius it self had the will to end this once and for all.

"All of you, die like the vermin you all are!"

Pillars of earth rose up to Varion's command, swarming the field and aiming to crush all of the climbers that had dared make it this far.

At least, until Emert rose up with the power pulsing in his veins. He could feel it; the machines working their wonders and fixing his wounds. Giving him the strength to properly end this.

"You will be judged!" Emert shouted, his movements quick and precise--slicing apart the pillars with ease, and reducing them to a fine brown dust. His movements gave him the surprise he needed to close the gap between him and Varion.

"This ends here!"

Varion couldn't believe it. It was faster than he could see. Metal pierced his torso, spreading his blood over the ground. It was torn out, and suddenly a gloved hand grabbed his face. In that instant he was slammed into the ground...and now had one hell of a man standing above him--sword raised.

"For betraying the two great countries of our land, and attempting the murder of not only the lives of those who ventured upon this mountain, but humanity as well, I, Emert Berger, sentence you to death!"

Metal slammed down, cutting deep and running hard. But that wasn't the end.

Above Varion, a practical army of white swords hovered, waiting for Emert's command. With a blink of the eyes, the swords rained down and pierced Varion over and over again--a nonstop barrage of pain, hell, and blades.

The highest of Judges were known for this skill. It was a punishment befitting only the cruelest, deadliest criminals.

It was known as "Hell."

The final blade pierced Varion's torn and bloody stomach. His blood had splattered everywhere, but not a drop landed on Emert. He gripped Metal tightly as he grabbed Varion's limp corpse and with a swift movement....cut off his head.

"Stay dead and burn in the deepest circle of hell." Emert murmured.

Kinzoku had to act quickly. If she didn't, than she fried, likely in the most literal sense. Blindly the Doctor swung his blade of Ice at her. She dodged out of the way, but quickly had an idea, and pulled him closer to her. As Sanya's attack began to take effect, the Doctor cried with pain, and tried to wrestle out of Kinzoku's grasp. The attack didn't not have an effect upon her though, draining her of strength, burning her skin. The pain was immense, beyond that which she had ever felt before. She tried her best to use her cosmetic magic to perform minor healing duties, replacing the burnt skin. That didn't remove any permanent structural damage, or take away any pain though. The Doctor managed to free himself, but it was too late. He had blocked the attack, his body crippled. But even then, the healing capabilities of the Typhoneus Magnificum took hold, healing him. Kinzoku glanced to her side, and saw something she really wish she hadn't. Emert, that foolish Judge that thought he had the right, had just beheaded the person who had been closest to her, by her side for a long while. They had both chosen to climb this stupid mountain, and optimistically felt that they'd make it out of here on top. But now.... he was gone. She fell to her knees, and buried her head in her hands. Kamyn or not, Kinzoku was still a teenage girl, one who had been in love. She was emotional, and her sobbing seemed almost out of place in the otherwise silent battlefield. Then, her form began to flicker. Her body changing size, shape, color. All of the metal in the entire ship began to bend to her control. Kinzoku stood up slowly, the metal swirling above her, waiting for her command. She raised her head, and looked at the remaining Climbers. Her face and body were still changing, flickering between all of the forms she had taken with her cosmetic magic over the times.

"This is the approximate time when the Heroes would convince the lone villain about how wrong they are, and how this can all go right. How we can all manage to survive together, live in harmony. Sometimes their tries would work... other times it wouldn't. This will not be one of those times. I am going to try my absolute best to kill every single one of you. This is not a happy ending. It all comes down to survival of the fittest. Each one of us climbed that mountain with their own goals, their own motivations. I climbed alongside my only loved one, in hopes we might succeed in the mission that our country gave us. Now he lies dead on the ground. Judged. You all believe that what you've done is noble. That is simply not true. We had our orders. You had yours. All that he was was a loyal soldier, just like I. Just like some of you. Following orders to the grave. 'But Kinzoku! You tried to kill us!' You might say. Once again, we had orders. Yours were to climb the mountain. Ours were a bit different. So remember that, when I stand over you, or you over I. This was not a personal dispute. We were all following orders, whether we liked them or not, to the dot. Now if you'll excuse me," Kinzoku's form changed, and finally stayed put, back into her regular lascivious body with full red lips and luscious long red hair. "I'm going to follow my directive." The metal that swirled around her, sharpened, or crumpled, and launched themselves at the climbers full speed.

It was that moment when the Doctor was back to full health, and charged recklessly, his battle cry loud and guttural. He swung Ice at Kinzoku, who jumped backwards. The Doctor didn't let up, swinging at full strength with the blade. Kinzoku made a shield, and blocked the attack. She then shaped a malleable ingot of metal into a large sledgehammer, and swung at the Doctor knocking him away. He fell to the ground a little bit away, and then stood. He glanced around him, looking for the person who hurt him. But he had poor memory in this form, especially when fighting. So instead, the Doctor lunged at the closest person to him. Tristan, who was still dealing with the projectiles hurtling towards him, now had to figure out how to deal with a wild monster with strength beyond even that of a Kamyn.

For a while, Jasper stood where he was and waited. He watched as the Doctor's and Sanya's attacks canceled each other out, allowing Kinzuko to watch Emert brutally slaughter her psychotic boyfriend. As she knelt to the ground and wept, he couldn't help but wonder if she was truly devastated, or simply buying time until she could think of a way to kill them all. It sounded cold of him, but after all he'd seen Kinzuko do in the past few minutes, it seemed possible. As Kinzuko gave her speech about all of them doing what they had on this mission simply because they were simply following orders, Jasper resisted the urge to gag. Sandrew didn't sacrifice himself because of his orders, and neither did that girl who saved his life earlier. They fought and died because they felt it was the right thing to do. And as for Kinzuko and Varion, he didn't know why they signed up for this mission, but he knew there was more to it than following orders.

Finally, when Kinzuko sent metal flying at everyone, Jasper took action. He didn't know how he knew this, but with his new sword, he could transform himself into gas, which is exactly what he did. As he did, his hair became pure white, and his skin a light blue. The pieces of lethal metal simply passed through him, and when he made it to Kinzuko, he became solid again and slashed at her midsection with Blighter.

Looking to Kinzoku with a serious look on his face Tristan spoke "Your wrong Kinzoku one person didnt come to this mountain following orders I came here because of another reason..." slowly Tristan began to step forward as Kinzoku's metal shards flew towards "I came here to this mountain to find out the truth of who i am who my mother was and who my father was..." as the metal shards reached Tristan Tristan simple continued as the metal shards seemed to phase right through him "and finally i do know who i am I am the son of Adriev and Amelia two former Kamyn's i have both of there power flowing through my vain's and now i can finally unleash it on you" suddenly sprinting forward Tristan meet with the Doctor face to face seeing he seemed to be a little out of it at the moment as he attempt to attack Tristan "Sorry about this Doc this might burn a bit" as the Doctor prepared to strike at Tristan Tristan's entire body became that of flames and passed right by the doctor once past the doctor Tristan's body became whole once again as he used instant movement once again to reach Kinzoku "You may be a Kamyn right now Kinzoku but right now consider me the two Kamyn's coming at you at once Pure and Corrupted coming together as one to strike you down... Strengthen nano's engage Flame nano's activate... I'm coming at you with everything i have" with silver flames appearing all over Tristan's body and flames running along both his swords and the flames only continued to grow in power with every passing second as Tristan swung from the side with his own blade and downward with Sandrew's attempting to strike Kinzoku with a cross strike

Kinzoku saw Jasper coming. His new technique of turning into gas was going to be quite a bit troublesome, but nothing she couldn't deal with. She blocked the sword strike with a blade of her own, then lunged with the blade herself. Unfortunately, her counterattack was interrupted by Tristan. He still seemed to have some sort of misconception of being on the same level as her. Nonsensical, she knew. She flipped backwards, the blades passing straight through where she had been but a moment before. She landed on her feet, and morphed some scrap metal into a battle axe. She was about ready to start swinging when something else interrupted her. The Doctor smashed down onto the ground, aiming for Tristan. He was armored in a suit of ice, and clutched the blade. He roared with anger, and swung at Tristan, blades of ice shooting at Tristan from all sides. Kinzoku couldn't help but smile. The Doctor's ultimate attack had backfired. She grinned at Jasper, and beckoned with her hand. Come at me.

noticing the blades of ice coming towards him Tristan sighed "son of a... no getting around it i guess then if thats the case, alright Doc I'll be your opponent but keep in mind wild Doc..." as the the ice blades where just about to reach Tristan silver flames flowed around him spinning like a twister around Tristan as each ice blade made contact it melted away leaving nothing but puddles of water behind "I may be the worst opponent ever for you lets see how well your Ice can keep up with my flames!" Lauching towards the Doctor at high speed Tristan examined the situation "(Alright from the looks of it the Doc's got no control of himself at all right now if he did he'd probably be focusing all this power on Kinzoku over me right now i say his minds working like that similar to a scared or injured animal and he's just attacking what ever is closest or....-_- i probably shouldnt of burnt him last time alright I'll need to be a little rough here but as long as i dont kill him he should be alright so lets give it everything we have) Get ready Doc I'm not holding back" as Tristan said that a dozen or so silver flame blades appeared floating in the air behind him and lauched forward towards the doctor at high speed as Tristan readied to strike the doctor with his two swords the second the flame swords at reached there mark

The crowd gathered in on the wreckage; frightened but curious. Despair and hope intermixing in everyone's minds. Evra looked around and immediately felt all their pain.

"Climbers...." He wasn't even sure what emotion he was expressing as he spoke.

"Finish this..."

(I didn't, but let's just say for now that he doesn't know about that.)

"If you insist." Jasper said to the taunting Kinzuko, and charged at her. But instead of clashing with her head on, he used his sky form at the last possible moment, ran through Kinzuko, became solid again and attacked her from behind.

(This... will be a long post. Probably. Anyways, you've been warned.)

"Didn't have it in me to betray?" echoed Drale, anger apparent in his voice. "DIDN'T HAVE IT IN ME?!" he yelled, raising his sword high in the air. And then, he laughed. "Hilarious, truly. Vay... was as much my dark side, as I was his light side. I never wanted to betray them to begin with! But, because of the actions of, well, myself... I had to! But trust me; Vay was willing, and quite eager to betray you all! Yes, even the Vediks! He would have killed you two, you know. Betrayed you whilst you slept. But now, why... I saved you both!" Drale monologued, oblivious to the goings on around him. Wrapped up in his speech, he continued, "I had no choice in joining the Vediks! No one ever asked me! Oh yes, the guy who supplied us with technology, I'm sure he'll want to help us with a mission. What do we care about Drale?! He's the same as Vay to us! That's their logic! They didn't care about Drale, the person Vay is now, they cared about Vay, the original!" He was snapped out of his rant as metal started flying through the air. He used his sword, and batted down the shards that grew too close to him. He ran over to the Doctor, when he had been sent flying, solely out of concern for him. He would have said something, but the sight of the Doctor in this condition shocked him into silence. He then stood in what could be construed as awe of Emert, and his sheer determination. Drale didn't even think about going to help, as it seemed like the Judge was doing well enough on his own. "A true hero indeed. And one whose name shall be commemorated forever," he said in reply to Eftenton said upon picking up the blade. Seeing Tristan rush into the fight against Varion just reinforced Drale's resolve to leave Varion alone, and focus more on Kinzoku. "I was never dead. I just... ceased to impact Vay's actions. At least, until you two called me back," he said in reply to Amber, and gestured to her and Tristan as he said, 'you two.' He laughed at Varion's attempt at slapping Emert.

And then, suddenly, he was teleported. Or, to be exact, his consciousness was teleported into a mental battleground. His body was left slumped on a nearby wall, oblivious to all the goings on. Drale found himself in a curious place, set up like an arena. And he found himself face-to-face with... well, himself. To be exact, a one Dr. Vay Lea. "Where am I, and why are you here?!" Drale demanded.

"Oh, it's quite simple... me," Vay said, "Our existence... we are incompatible. You can't exist as the same time as me, and vice versa."

"But... I defeated you! You should be dead!" Drale exclaimed, but with a confused tone betraying how he felt.

"Oh yes, you did," Vay smirked, "But a person can not kill himself... that easily, I'm afraid. That's why we must... combine."

"WHAT?!" Drale shouted, "I refuse!" he exclaimed, as he summoned Sandrew's sword, ran at Vay, and sliced him in half.

A little ways away, Vay reappeared, and laughed. "Did you not hear me, fool?! Neither of us can kill the other! This means we can only do one of two things. Combine... or continuously swap who is in control. Which would you prefer?"

Drale growled in anger, but knew Vay had a point. He then sighed, and said, with a tear in his eye, "Well... I suppose we'll combine. But what does that entail?"

"This!" Vay yelled, and rushed a shocked Drale. The moment the two touched, a blinding white light blazed forth. When it cleared, the was only one person left. Drale. "The two are now one, for now and forever," he said, then disappeared.

The body of Drale then woke up, with a consciousness a combination of Drale and Vay. This was just as Will was saying his final goodbyes. Drale knew not what the Doctor was saying goodbye for, but this was not his most pressing concern. No, that was the apparent gap in his memory. Drale knew something was missing, but not what. He looked at his sword, and saw the name 'Sandrew.' The sight of this name caused a tear to well up in his eye, but he didn't know WHY such a mundane name would cause a reaction like that. He then turned his head, and saw Amber dead. And this.... this enraged him. All these people around him, people he considered friends... all dieing! He couldn't take it. And then Sanya, a Kaymn he had barely known, and Varion died. And this, this broke him. But before he got a chance to say anything, he heard Kinzoku's speech. And then the metal started flying. With a growl of rage, he took four shadows, and, along with his actual sword, started batting down the metal. And he spoke out, "Orders?! Were those ALL you thought about?! Did you not realize that you could have easily disobeyed those orders? But no... you decided to blindly follow orders, and not think about what the Vediks would do! And you're right. This is not the time when the glorious heroes convince the sole remaining villain to repent. This... is the time... that I KILL YOU!" Drale yelled out, getting closer to Kinzoku by the moment. He raised his sword high in the air, and all the other swords he had created did the same. He ran at Kinzoku, not caring for his own safety, and sliced downwards at her, followed by the other swords doing the same thing.

(I warned you.)

Kinzoku was forced to roll to the side, dodging the blade that Drale was holding. However, there were plenty more shadow blades coming straight for her. She pulled out a little trick, analyzing each blades planned route and using one shield to block them. She moved the shield as quickly as she could to intercept and deflect the razor sharp shadows, but she still didn't quite catch them all. Several had passed through her defenses, and caused gashes over her skin. Sanya's final blow was still giving her problems too, the pain from the energy burst almost too much. She was struggling to stand now, but one more person has an attack for her. Jasper ran at her. Kinzoku threw up a shield in front of her, but Jasper went straight through and landed a blow on her back. She was sent sprawling forward. Kinzoku quickly rolled to her feet, but staggered for an instant. She grimaced. This wouldn't end well if she didn't start getting her act together. Fine. Lovesick would get what he deserved.

Now confident, Jasper lashed out again, but Kinzoku parried with a blade of her own. Jasper came around with another attack with the other sword, but Kinzoku simply summoned another blade to counter it. They traded blows for a bit, each time stale mating, but Kinzoku was getting more and more aggressive. Finally, she managed to make her opponent stagger for a second. That gave her enough time to transform her blades into a hammer, and swing it with enough velocity to send Jasper flying. The Tattoo Mage recovered, and summoned his whip, lashing out with it, grasping the hammer that Kinzoku held, and pulling it out of her hands. He swung the whip back, then cracked it forward again, sending the hammer flying back towards it's master. Kinzoku rolled to the side, and flung a few balls of steel at him. Jasper dodged by summoning his Pulse Boots, and jetting straight into the air. Kinzoku frowned for a second, then thinned out a few pieces of metal and hurtled them like javelins. Jasper, thinking quickly, air dashed out of the way, and being right above Kinzoku know, switched back to Blighter, and swung down. He fell fast, nearly hitting Kinzoku as she barely cartwheeled out of the way. Jasper stood up, now holding Long Shot. He shot the crossbow, but Kinzoku flicked her fingers and knocked it off course with a spare piece of metal. Jasper didn't let up, teleporting the arrow back to the crossbow and firing again. They continued on like this, Jasper slowly walking towards his opponent as he fired. Eventually, he came too close, and fired Long Shot once more. It hit Kinzoku right in the side, and she fell to the ground. Not letting this second go to waste, Jasper sprung forward, pouncing on top of Kinzoku's wounded body, both blades at her throat.

"It's over. You've lost." Jasper said, his eyes narrowing. Kinzoku gave him a bloody grin.

"It isn't over till I say it is." Kinzoku replied, her steely gray eyes staying concrete, even as blood the shade of her hair poured out over the ground. Giving a lot of effort, Kinzoku kicked Jasper off of her, giving her enough time to bat him back down to the ground with a steel pipe. She beat him with her makeshift weapon, the blunt and hollow pipe making a gruesome sound every time she hit him. Finally, she knelt upon his chest, and held a knife to his throat. "And I say it's over now." Kinzoku said, her bruised and bloodied face contorting itself into what could be thought of as a smile. Her lipstick and blood were mixing into a terrible shade of maroon, and her pale skin was also covered in that shade. She was standing on her last legs.

The Doctor roared, and a wall of ice formed in front of him, the blades of fire losing their heat to the ice cold wall. The Doctor blocked Tristan's attack, one sword with his own, the other with his bare forearm. He threw Tristan off him, the pounced at Flame Boy, blade outstretched, hail also shooting off at his opponent.

(All right, time to end this.)

For a moment during his fight with Kinzuko, Jasper thought that perhaps he'd be able to win. That perhaps he could stop this psychopath from killing the few that remained of the climbers, and even make it out of the fight in one piece. But here he was, broken, bloodied, and with a knife at his throat.

He tried to think of a way out of this situation, but he couldn't. If he tried to attack Kinzuko again, she'd simply slit his throat with the flick of her wrist. Unless...

"Hey dad, what does this do?" a young Jasper asked his father, shortly before he became a fugitive.

"That, my boy, is the Explosion Gauntlet." Mr. Wintergreen told his son, "And I do believe it's my most powerful weapon yet. When it's wielder slams on the ground with this gauntlet, a powerful, concentrated explosion is triggered, affecting everything in a three meter radius. Sadly, this includes the wielder. I've been working on some counter-magic to protect the wielder during the explosion, but I have no idea if it's powerful enough to be of any use, and there's no way of finding out without putting whoever tests it at risk."

"Don't worry dad, I'm sure you'll find a way, you always do" Jasper said, a bright smile on his face. Little did he know that in less than a month, his father would be hanging by his neck from a rope because of a problem he couldn't figure out."

"Thanks Jasper, that means a lot to me. Now you'd better be on your way, or you'll be late for school."

Jasper knew what he had to do. He didn't know if he would survive, but if he didn't do this, he'd probably die anyway. At least this way, he could bring Kinzuko down with him. Jasper almost always had to make contact with his tattoos to activate his equipment, but sometimes, when he was particularly desperate and determined, Jasper could summon his equipment at will, such as right now.

"You're right Kinzuko, it is over. Goodbye." Jasper choked out, summoning Explosion gauntlet, and slamming it to the ground. When he did, a bright light flashed across the battlefield, followed by a powerful explosion. However, the explosion suddenly stopped roughly three meters from it's starting point, preventing anyone from being caught in the blast except for Jasper and Kinzuko.

Drale had jumped backwards once Kinzoku had blocked some of his swords. He started preparing another attack, but then noticed Jasper attacking her. He didn't attack, as he had a vague sense that he shouldn't. This sense proved useful, with Jasper's last attack being, what appeared to be, a giant explosion. Drale ran a quick calculation through his head of whether or not Kinzoku would survive. Even though the percentage was quite low, he decided to be better safe than sorry. He formed a massive sword in the sky, to hang over where the explosion had happened. "Sword of Justice, Hang!" passed through his mind as he realized that was bit too similar to what Emert had done, and the whole judgement thing. This realized, he made a quick change to the sword, and turned it into a giant rock. Satisfied, he then focused most of himself in actually keeping it hanging there. The sheer force required to do so was very draining, thus only allowing him to keep it held up and watch for any movements from Jasper, Kinzoku, Tristan, or Warthrop.

(Not much I can really do. That and, I like the idea of a giant boulder hovering over Kinzoku and Jasper.)

(Quandary: Sandrew's power over ice allows him to generate ice faster than it couled possibly melt, that's why he is able to transform and hold his ice form as fast as he is. The ice is literally near instintanious, thus meaning it can generate even in the hottest of places, I.E. the sun (which, as we know, scientifically, is hotter than hell) as long as water vapor exists within the area. Due to the location being originally a mountain with heavy vegetation, the likelyness of water, at least enough to freeze being water vapor in the air, is present in the area, is high. This, combined with the powers provided by Sandrew, the Doctor could freeze something long enough to dodge roll out, have his clothing catch on fire. Also, he could survive longer in terms of pure stamina. A flame like that would consume kiloliters of air a second, Tristan has no method of obtaining more air in the bubble without letting water vapor in or Oxygen that will not be burned up or shared with the Doctor. However, in ice form, the being must breath water vapor, not oxygen, due to the way they exist in space. He would survive approximately two minutes and thirty-seven and a half seconds due to the fact that water vapor dosen't burn up, unlike oxygen. Even with Tristan's superhuman abilities and Fire, Ice is its psudo counter, in the elemental wheel. Water balances, ice kills, fire balances water, lighting kills. However, Tristan's speed and power, plus his sane mind could conquer the mindless Doctor through pure skill and willpower. This creates a near endless loop, only ending with either the Doctor escaping, Tristan suffocating, or Tristan barely out matching the zombie Doctor. I would say Tristan's chances of success are very slim, especially since we don't know the full extent of the Doctor's transformation in conjunction with the ice abilities he has received, but I would rate the chances of success in an earth-based world being 68-73% in favor of the Doctor.)

your failing to take one thing into consideration her Riki at present yes the climbers are on the mountain but at current they are in an area surrounded by metal which makes of the ship Evraius which would lower the amount of water vapor present and there's also the fact you forget to take into consideration that Human's can hold there breath and survive without Oxygen some for up to 5 minutes in fact the world record for someone holding there breath is 20 minutes so Tristan holding his breath for up to 5 minutes just to strike down on the Doctor is completely plausible and also you seem to be misunderstanding how the Hell's Cage work i said that it burns as hot as the flames of hell that was me just have Tristan make some form of comparison when in actuality since no one can say how hot hell is there's no guessing how hot the Hell's cage can actually get it could or could not be hotter then the sun and even if the doctor could form Ice instantly since hell's cage burns so hot there are no water particles to freeze since hell's cage is so hot and even if ice could form by the time it even got close to Tristan it would melt again and finally I'm doing over powered move right now because i thought we were trying to finish this rp up so stop contradicting stuff and let us end this Rp in an epic fashion

(You doubt I took them into consideration. 1: Though it's a ship, and a l it of metal is present, water isn't exactly something you filter out of the air unless you're making oxygen gear to allow one to breath in situations they could not. The fact that it became a mountain still stands, and thus the water is still there and present. Add the fact it rose into the air, releasing underground Aquafirs and lakes, causing heat in the area evaporating the water and turning it into water vapor, and Sandrew final attack releasing a burst of elemental properties into the world. The metal dosen't affect wafer vapor available, and in fact would more likely rust due to it. An on top of that, if it were any hotter than as stated, the ground itself would begin to melt down to magma. Tristan, undoubtedly, cannot survive the noxious gasses released in magma, even when holding his breath because it's toxic to biological matter(aka skin, eyes, any open orifice of the human body) in general. I said in pure terms of skill, Tristan could win, but the doctor has abilities we know next to nothing about now, added with Ice form allowing him to bypass(as ice isn't a biological matter) the noxious fumes (not nessicary the magma, but the gasses and the fact the cold from him would likely keep the area around him somewhat solid and cool still) and his now way upped stamina he could likely survive for over two and a half hours in there with him literally suckling the water out of the area. You argue that it's so hot it instantly melts any ice, yet if the ice exists for an instant, even an instant, that is enough to preform with. Not nessicary an attack, but more like an escape would be the option. The beast would understand, subconsciously, that it's odds in such an environment would be bad. Escape would be the best option, so raising a thin, human sized hole in the fire long enough to escape would be it's likely next course of action. It need just make it half a way through the fire, the ice form itself would cover most of the damage in cured and the person lands safety outside of their trap.Add to that, the heat of it would have to be hot enough to nearly obliterate human matter of any kind, ice, the like yet be cool enough to not allow for the ground around it to begin to melt down from said heat. That would be about the temperature of hell, as there is lava in hell, but it's not all lava, it's covered in stones of various kinds, and in the final circle of hell, in some instances, it is iced over, a frozen wasteland, but the rest is still intolerably hot. Thus meaning ice can form in hell, in a biblical sense. Any hotter and ground would melt down into lava, and no ice could form.Tl:dr: being hotter than hell would mean the floor is lava, get off the floor! And Tristan ultimate "trap" is not feasible, as it would change the way the ground works in the arena, literally burning Tristan alive but still providing the Doctor safety and escape.Next time, for an entrapment, a better choice is a solar ring: using sun to amplify the strength of your fire control and strength, melt a large portion of ground around your target and not yourself, just enough to entrap them but not to kill them, and surround them with tightly-binding rings of everlasting until you command it to stop flame. Said person would be in able to move away from the area due to the lava and rings holding them in, no arguments can be made against this as a person would have to ice over most of the ring to be able to move. Then whomever you are entraping only has up as an escape, but the rings can follow and tighten on them, sear them, and keep them immobile and keep them at your bidding. The only other exit rely on the person having fire manipulation, water manipulation, earth manipulation, or extreme air based manipulation to either force the fire away, quench the lava then force themselves to fight on inside some water in order to resist the burns as they fight, earth allowing the person to just encase you in your own lava, ridding of the lava, then watching as your life force drains away in the earth and your fire is put out, or extreme wind allowing them to cool the lava and blow them so far away your magic can no longer affect them. The is no perfect manuver, remember this. There is always a way out)

(Yo nerds! Chill out! It doesn't matter because we needed to end this anyway. Sure there are flaws, but I don't need to exploit them because we all need to end this.)

A dark arena. One might say it's the heart. However, the Doctor wasn't one to believe in the power of the heart. No, this was certainly the battleground of his mind. This arena held two combatants. One was the Doctor, sanity intact, spear out. But he didn't seem to be having such a picnic. His hair was matted with sweat, and there were multiple wounds on his body. The other combatant was nothing but a shadow, a silhouette. The Doctor rushed his opponent, prodding with his spear, before going all out with a lunge. The silhouette simply leaned out of the way, dodging the two strikes with ease. The shadow kicked out, hitting the Doctor in the gut. Warthrop grunted, and fell to his knees. The shadow laughed. "You are not in control. You infected yourself, knowing there would be no return." The shadow hissed. Warthrop still looked up at the shadow, his eyes challenging it.

"There is no evidence that a man cannot buck the infection." The shadow batted the Doctor down, making him fall all the way to the ground.

"There's been hundreds of cases, and not a single one saw any form of recovery. You know that. You wrote the book." The shadow said, still talking in a half hiss half laugh.

"They weren't me." The Doctor replied simply, refusing to back down, despite being on the ground. The shadow laughed.

"Let's be honest Warthrop. You aren't a man. No human is like you. Would a man leave not one but two loves? Would a man risk everything he loved for a chance of meaningless glory? Would a man corrupt a boy? Would a man kill his best friend? You are not a man. You are nothing but a monster." The shadow said, leaning closer to the Doctor. Now, the darkness that shrouded the silhouette burned away, and revealed... Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, dressed in his finest, hair neatly combed back. "You are fighting your very nature Doctor. Come to a realization. You are not one of them. You are what you've been studying this entire time." The Doctor lay and looked at his opponent.

"....A monster." The fake smiled.

"Good job! You've got the idea. Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, Monstrumologist. A man whose passion burned hotter than the sun. A man so consumed by his work he became lonesome. None could come close. None could relate, none could bond, for they would all burn away. After all, flying too close to the sun will cause wings of wax to burn away." The shadow continued to grin, talked as if he knew the Doctor better than any other. Because he did. As Warthrop lay on the ground, bruised and beaten, he was coming face to face with every doubt that had ever come to mind. What if he was too forceful? Too intimate? Too cruel? The Doctor shut his eyes hard, but one tear fell from his eye anyway. He couldn't think of a single person that still was close to him, that was still foolish enough to think he gave a damn about others. Warthrop opened his eyes, and looked straight into the eyes of himself. No, not himself. Straight into the eyes of a monster. Warthrop took a deep breath. He could stop fighting. What point was there? He was a monster, on the outside and the inside. Then he opened them again, and looked again into the eyes of the doubt.

There was no spark. No light, no gears turning, no brilliant mind. Behind those eyes, there was nothing. Warthrop kicked the fake away, and stood up. The Doctor picked up his spear, and looked at the fallen doubt. "Make no mistake, I am as cruel and heartless as a monster. But I refuse to be someone that will not, can not, be something beyond what they are born as. I have a goal of immortality in the hearts of men, and falling to the depths as a monster isn't in the agenda." The Doctor said, walking forward. The doubt began to crawl away, but he could not escape. As the Doctor approached, he began to glow, lightly at first, but as he came closer, he brightened. He stood over the doubt now, light as bright and hot as the sun. "Know one thing. It was the man, Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, that truly conquered monsters." He lashed out with his spear, and the second he hit the fake, it melted away, into nothing but ash. The small pile of ashes blew away, and the Doctor stood triumphant.

Out in the real world, Tristan's blade had hit it's mark, hitting the Doctor's back, and making a deep enough cut so that the nanomachine sealing power had its effect upon the typhoneus magnificum in the Doctor's bloodstream. It was this cut that allowed the Doctor to burn the doubt away. Now, the Doctor lay, on the ground, the sword of ice clattered to the ground, his body broken. But now he slept soundly, his battle won.

Kinzoku lay on her stomach several yards away. She was in much worse shape. Drale's strike, Sanya's final blow, and Jasper's explosion finally beginning to destroy her body. She lay there, skin burned, blood running from so many places it was hard to determine where the wounds were, and clothing torn to shreds. She looked around at the few climbers still left. As her breathing became shallower, her mind wouldn't stop the hate. Hate towards everything, and everybody around her. She thought only about how much damage and destruction she would cause, as soon as she woke up. As soon as she was up again, she could kill all of these people. They were nothing, they were weak! She could obliterate them all. As soon as she woke up. Yes, she needed to rest. Rest would be good. Kinzoku closed her eyes, intending to kill every person on the world once she awoke. Unfortunately, she never would.
