Amber

Before long, Amber alone stood outside of the cave. A part of her wanted to wait a minute before going in and let the others deal with whatever was in there, but that would be the path of a coward, a path she had renounced when she volunteered for this mission. Besides, it was dark in there, and darkness was her specialty. "Hey, wait up guys!" she said, and followed the others into the cave.

Jasper

"Sheesh, watch it lady!" and irritated Jasper said to Sanya. "I've got two legs, you know, and I'd be happy to use them." Jasper then turned toward Kinzoku, and waited for her to open the envelope.

Apollo replaced his bow and arrow and walked towards Varion, Fairy, Aya, And Sairi.[Do you see, Father?? You were right] He thought as he approached them. He stopped about ten feet away"You did well, Fairy" He told her sincerily the. Looked at the others. "You all did well."I'm quite pleased that we were all placed on the same team. It seems we were meant to make This journey together." He may have been getting carried away, but they had met a kamyn and survived. He knew they could do it, he knew they would"I think we should head on, there seems to be a small supply station a little ways up. Although it looks a little run down"

Lance took a little breath before walking back to the group. "Geez ... if that was the welcoming... I don´t want to see their showdown..." He said as he came close to Fairy. "Good job, see? for a healer you can be useful " He said while looking at Varion and Apollo. "Well we should keep going... it´s just the starting point so... there´s no hurry to get there".

Drale follows Cornelius as he enters the cave. "Normally, I can see in the dark, But not now. Curious." Drale then looked around the cave, trying to make out what was in there.

Cornelius frowned."That seemed to indicate a non-natural darkness." He reasoned. "Which would raise the likely hood of a trap. Be on guard."Cornelius flexed his fingers and a glowing suit of armor formed around him. He watched to see if his light bats could show up anything.

"You misunderstand." Morgan's gaze shifted from Alice to the judge. "I never hoped to make peace with the Kamyn. However...I believe we should actually make some progress in climbing Evraius before we begin conflicts with...whatever can be considered just below God. I chose not to assist you because no one's life was at stake. Not yet, anyway."

"A trap, you say?" The darkness closed in as the cave did, crumbling down the only visible entrance and exit. "I find that to be comically ignorant, though I fail to see things from your perspective, and so please...." The bats of light vanished immediately, but the light they emitted shifted over as a beacon hovering over Dante. It was akin to moonlight, not bright but very elegant, and in fact, the only light that appeared to be there at all. Dante's blue and red eyes narrowed calmly to the group, his robes of white and gold standing out quite a bit. Despite being in such a hollow cave, Dante's hair was combed back well without any sign of dirtiness, nor on his robes of what seemed to be silken. "...Explain it to me. After all...."

Dante was curious to see where this group would lead. So far, he noticed the light and dark abilities of some...it would prove to be entertaining. "You barge in here uninvited with other comrades as well. You fight and bicker with one another, causing a bit of noise here, you fire a bolt coming my way even to no avail...you've entered our territory, and you consider this a potential trap? No, children, you are merely intruding into an area that is not your's. Excuse me for introducing us all with such formalities, but I'm certain it would be...less appreciable if done as the others have." He took a small breath, "Unfortunately, you have all been rather rude of guests. I am certainly aware that society only continues to degrade and degrade, but does this all pass for being manners nowadays? It is unbelievably annoying, and even a bit provoking." Dante's voice deepened darkly, echoing in the cave, "Irreversibly provoking."

Sandrew sunk down. "I didn't want even come..." he muttered, turning brown as the ground, he transformed into his earth-based form, and he sunk deep into the earth. "I don't wanna die..." He mumbled meekly under the dirt. "Maybe the Kaymin will let me go if I tell him that the king forced me to come here and that I never wanted to go on this trip in the first place..." He thought, hoping that the Kaymin didn't notice his disappearance.

"I wish to be the first to apologize for my comrades actions. I hope I can make it up to you." Drale says, approaching the Kamyn. Just before that, he motions to the rest of his group to stay low. "Now tell me, what do you want?"

The slither of metal on metal could be heard as plates of white detached from Chips, coming to float protectively around Ferro. Birgitte's blades became even hotter. Ferro eyed the robed figure. "Who is this son-of-a-b*tch?" he said, giving a wry smile. In normal circumstances, Birgitte would have scolded him for his language, but this was not normal circumstances. "He looks like a woman in that robe!" Vell remarked, cackling.

Amber

Sure, Amber was nervous when the Kamyn appeared, but she began to calm down when Drale took the lead. And then Ferro and his stupid artifacts spoke up, "Shut up!" she quietly hissed at the newcomer. By the looks of it, they would need more than just bruit force and insults to get out of this unscathed. Sure, she was willing to fight if she had to, but if Drale could somehow talk some sense into this guy, that would be great, as unlikely as it seemed that diplomacy would work at the moment. So for now, she got down and let the shadow wielder take this one.

Dante grew a grin, despite the incoming insults and demands. "Try harder on your insults. For starters, Ferro, as I've heard beyond the cave, you'd best silence your weapons and yourself until they think of something better. I appear feminine? It never occurred to me that being female in any way was so degrading. Sexism seems to have rose again as society continues to devolve. Tell me," he turned to Amber rather nonchalantly, ignoring what she had said, "In comparison to them, just how privileged are you? Is your femininity called into question? It seems that they find it to be wrong." Dante sighed almost disappointedly.

"Now we can converse about what we want eternally, so I will not answer your question." He told Drale, "We can go on and on." Dante twiddled his index and middle finger for a moment, bursting Sandrew out of the ground. "No use hiding, or even attempting a little abscond. Now I admire the others' tenacity, but if you so wish, I will allow you to leave. Are you certain you wish to? For if you return, there is no other chance I am giving you."

At last, Dante analyzed them all and seemed to be prepared for a game of sorts. "Children, you all come as kids, assigning yourselves the role of 'hero' as if it is for mere fun. You think of us as the villains but in reality, you are ignorant, insolent, indolent. Keep thinking that you're righteous, but in truth, you do not even know what your role truly is." He sneered at his foes and smirked. "In my presence, the vast majority of your retention is no longer under your control. It is mine. Now, if I am the female you blighted men claim me to be--then prepare to be bested by one."

"Aah!" Sandrew yelled, being flung from the dirt. "I can't leave! I leave I die, I stay in plane sight, I die..." Sandrew yelled. "You act like everyone can just choose everything for themselves! Sometimes even greater forces force you to do what you don't want to, if they didn't, I would have never been sent on this suicide mission!" Sandrew yelled. "I... I just want to leave and go home..." He muttered. "What right do you have to just decide our fates!? What dose anyone!? I just want to be free from it, free from everyone else's demands and wants and needs! How is any of this fair!?" he screamed. "...I just want to be a kid... I just want to live life, enjoy it... Not do this..." He muttered. "Why...? Why are we even here?! Everyone knows that we can't even stand a chance against your kind, not in ten million years, and certainly not now! Why were we sent to die!?" Sandrew screamed. Quickly he grew silent. "He he he..." He coughed.  "All I want now, is to just hide away and never be scene again, so I don't have to die. I don't want to be killed by the army for refusing to embark on this mission, as the governing powers wanted me to. I don't want to die to you, here. I don't have a choice in the matter, I'm too weak to make that decision, apparently. But I won't just let myself die... Even if I'm weak, and I can't even harm you, I won't just die here... I don't want to... But I'll fight you. I'll fight you and make sure that at least I wasn't forced in here without by best shot to beat you..!" Sandrew's voice, tiny yet willful concluded. "I'll admit: I'm scared. I'm scared beyond belief. If I live through this bout, it will only be a fluke, but I'll win. If I die, it means that I was too weak and too unlucky to choose for myself...!" He finished his speech. Sandrew was already tired: Two transformations almost back to back, not something he did often, but now he had to add a third onto it. "Sky... Roaring blue, puffy white..." He thought, his skin and entire body in fact becoming like the daytime sky. Fluffy clouds appeared for hair, eyes, other details like that. "I don't want to fight, but I have to choose that, or to die... I won't just let myself die because someone wants to control me... I choose to do what I don't wanna do this time... I hope I never have to again..." He thought. "I dare you, take the first shot!" Sandrew yelled, lining up himself. He was preparing to counter the first attack that their enemy made with his sword's ability. You couldn't see it too well, but his feet were almost positioned to spring directly at the enemy.

Aya started walking towards the shed with Apollo.

Sairi simply looked up at Fairy, a rather puzzeled look on his face.

"What do you want?" he asked.

He then secretly took his shadow, and made it into a dagger.

The Doctor continued to make notes on the corpse of the Vivo Lapis. It was unfortunate that the Kamyn had scattered the pieces, but he had to make do. After all, he doubted he would ever encounter one of these in his lifetime. Warthrop scribbled in his notebook as Morgan, Emert, Alice, and Efenton continued to chat and bicker. He paid attention, but only slightly, enough to understand, but not enough to analyze. The Doctor wrote down a few more words, slammed shut his tome, and took one last look at the dead Vivo Lapis. He clucked his tongue in regret. Understanding it's predatory and breeding habits would have been preferable, but under the circumstances, he had done a well enough job of documenting the monster. The Doctor walked through the group, approaching the area right before the canyon Efenton had made between them. "Now, now, let us get going. No need to delay any longer." The Doctor called to the rest of his group behind him.

Kinzoku smiled, warping her metal shield back into an ingot, and floated it back into her bag. She walked over to the table, where the letter lay. She picked it up, and examined the envelope. It was crimson, and felt old. Soon enough, Sanya and Jasper were pressuring her into opening it. She smiled. Well, they didn't have to tell her twice. She ripped open the envelope, and emptied the contents into her hands, to find...

Silver

Kinzoku smoothed out the letter and read it...

You fools came looking for it, didn't you? You first oust me and then you wish to take everything from me? You shall never have it, though. I destroyed the moment I left your little enclave. You fancy yourselves gods but look who's helpness now! I'm sure you all have many more, but you don't know how happy it makes me to take at least one thing and you fools be unable to stop me. Twenty years! Twenty damn years I was with you. I understood you and I sympathized. You all are walking a path you can never return from, though, and if you can't listen to reason and are so intent on ridding yourself of old friends then I shall do the same. I will never let you hunt me down and kill me like you did the first one who left. Here it ends. That little instruction, to make sure everyone was in the house, I can't believe you must of fallen for it. The envelope is a trigger, and well... you'll see you Kamyn bastards. You'll see very soon.

-Ventro

Outside the house a strange sound was heard. It was the sound of a magical barrier being put up. Everywhere around the house. Then, from the fireplace, came several spouts of flame, veering out towards Silver team and the walls and floors of the house. Soon everything was on fire, and getting hotter by the moment. Silver team had to find a way out, and fast.

Kamyn

Adriev smiled as he looked down at the house, now showing signs of a small fire within.

"Who knew..." he reached to a table beside and picked something up. "Who knew your little last ditch attempt to kill us would come in handy one day..."

He peered into the empty sockets of the skull he held.

"Ventro."

Sanya actually cursed. The fire. No one here was fire...mermaid wouldn't do, the fire was...damn it was hot. She had to turn the fire...

No...she had to do it. None of the rest of her teamnhad the ability or magic.

Sanya let Wolf fade away, then she walked towards the raging inferno.

"I'll deal with the fire. Once the barrier goes you have to run." Feathers, gold and red and orange, appeared and caught fire. But the fire didnt burn. She held her hands ro rhe fire and began to control it, channeling and absorbing it.

"If this fire is vast I will have to do something stupid. So I need you all to run. I need you all to get out of here as fast as possible and not argue." She gritted her teeth. The energy was building. Her threshold...dammit, how could she have fallen into such a stupid trap?

Cornelius kept quite in the back, having no interest in trading insults with a Kamyn. Such a fruitless endeavor, trying to trying to make the creature make sense. He would give Drale a chance to hear his question answered, then deal with the Kamyn.

Jasper

"Run where? Didn't you hear the barrier go up around the house?" Jasper told Sanya as his mind raced with possibilities on how to get out of this mess. From the sound of the barrier going up, it seemed running out the front door was out of the question. Thus they had to somehow extinguish the flames, but how? He and Kinzoku certainly couldn't pull that off on their own, and from the sound of it, Sanya couldn't do it without risking the safety of herself and those around her. He then remembered the door the the mysterious other room. Perhaps there was something in there that could help them. Problem was, the door was covered in flames, which meant he needed a plan. Jasper put his hand on one of the tattoos on his arm, summoning his pulse boots. He then turned to Kinzoku, "Kinzoku, I need you to make me a shield with your ingots" he said.

Fairy sighed."No one wants help anymore, makes healing almost useless." She looked at the sky. 'These so called Gods are playing games with us,and I think this team is the luckiest' She thought."Right! So food,I can cook a lot of different foods. So with we're lucky there'll meat meat and a way to cook it,if not...well we'll see!" She smiled weakly. 'Gods always hide things..so Gods stuck on a mountain if high levels of power..why.
