They are foolish fools! *Gets whip ready* Honestly though, adding in multiplayer would have taken a while, and the more time they spend on KH3 the better.

At least it would've be better than having it as single player, it just feels that Mirage Arena is useless because the idea of the world was for multiplayer.

Great article! But i did notice a grammatical error in the interview. "We’re redone the Mirage Arena so it’s an enjoyable place in singleplayer mode. We’ve regulated the battle movements and AI as well. We’ve also put in a challenge mode component, where you can receive medals and bonuses for clearing."

As long as I can still gain experience in the Mirage Arena, I'm good! That's a fun place to go when I want to be ahead of the game and level up some more or gain some medals and such (and I found it made Critical easier for me overall, Terra kept letting Cinderella die -_- )

Every PS3 game is made on a PC. Japan isn't that big on PC gaming, they prefer smartphones, tablets and consoles.

I can't believe that they made the Mirage Arena challenges as single player although they could've had the opportunity for more awesome multiplayer gaming, this is the first time to see such foolish move...really disappointing.

I wouldn't mind if KHIII was released in 2020, look how they are canceling many things just to focus on releasing KHIII as fast as possible, which is not necessarily from the first place because there isn't a reaper following them and going to kill them if KHIII didn't get an early release. Let us just hope that after all the cancelations we get an awesome game that worth all what we could've had.

They could've done more awesome things but they all were cancelled because of "Time". About 2020, the PS4 is a new console and the actual games are yet to be released, so I would't mind if KHIII was released later on, look how The Last of Us went to the top although it was one of the last games to be released on the PS3

No announced projects were cancelled. The Osaka team has been putting out plenty of titles. Re:CoM, Birth by Sleep, KH3D and the HD ReMIXes.

 

Sales still take a hit. All late life Square Enix titles do not sell as well as earlier titles.

I see this thread going nowhere but in a circle that may end at some point. I do agree that multiplayer would have been cool. It was something I was hoping that I would finally get to play with my friends or younger brothers. However, I am happy for what we did get, and as far as the new challenges go, well that's something new! Plus, I can much more easily play on my own quickly than try to gather up a group of people to play.
