Dream Drop Distance was originally gonna be called "Birth By Sleep Volume 2" but they decided to change the title. I refuse to believe that until Nomura, Iwata, or anybody official OFFICIALLY says that it isn't happening, in the most official way possible. So basically...be official. I believe they have also never spoken about BBS V2 so.. We just should wait to 2.5 Remix and see. At the end of BBS they may add the dream drop distance title. But we even might see cutscenes. Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) Right after the concept trailer was discovered Nomura went on record saying "At this time a story exists for BbS v.2 but it may not be told as a game" If even Nomura, who's probably the biggest fan of his creation and does everything he can to get everything he wants in every game (even if he doesn't always get all of it) was never sure if the game was going to be made, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that it isn't. That's not to say that the story won't be told in some other way because it was supposed to answer one of the four mysteries of KH that he wanted to be solved before the end of the Dark Seeker Chronicles, in this case "The period of the King's absence" but the game isn't coming.
