Now, I don't watch anime as much as I used to at all, but compared to men in regular anime and manga, these guys are monsters. Look. Here is Izaya Orihara from Durarara. The anatomy is decent, believable, has that traditional anime face and eyes, and is showing some character. He looks fine! But YAOI...Oh-ho-ho...Prepare your eyes... Don't worry. There's nothing explicit on here. I'm not that cruel. dem lips. whoa guys, you feeling okay? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR HEAD? u ok? necks. wat. OH. Yeah. These two pictures sum it all up. But on the bright side, they are extremely hilarious. But seriously, unless you're going for a VERY specific style, don't make these men scary. And as an added bonus...listen to this.
