Alright, after being a bit slack with this RP, I finally got around to posting, and added myself back into the timeline. Now Drale is caught back up. Sorry for not posting for a while, I was busy, and didn't think about it that much.

Team tactics! Something that rarely happens in RPs. Honestly, people on Gold team, let Ferro do the defending. You guys can focus on offense or utility roles, or someone could be the rear guard too. I find it interesting the Drale and Cornelius have essentially the same power. I bet you guys could come up with some great light-shadow combos.

Considerably, or tactics would run best like this:Ferro and Amber run hard offensive strikes for the most part. Amber makes up for the fact that Ferro has slightly less phisical strength in exchange for defense, which she lacks in dark form due to her becoming more reckless with her power boost. Heavy offensive and defensive in the front, which is a key to victory.Sandrew should sit in the middle, attacking and inflicting status ailments to enemy's. For instance, when in his ground form, he creates a Shockwave that can knock over larger enemies and provide a speed boost to you all, or with his sealing sword, he can stop the useage of annoying specialty attacks, and as well, he can boost statuses and increase ability, so he is primarily support, but he can handle overall, so I will make him overallDrale and Cornelius will have to be a sort of mobile shield, picking up where others leave off and covering for mistakes and weaknesses, and inflicting damage as they can. They will be the people who keep seeing levels appropriate, mainly. This can be summed up in a small chart.Lead: Ferro and AmberMiddle support: SandrewRear guard and secondary damagers: Drale and CorneliusNow, since Cornelius can make shields, Amber or Ferro can be switched out, if need be, with him, and I would assume the same holds true for Drale in this situation, but I don't know, maybe his style is to stay back or something. That's the idea I have, stratagy-wise.

I like your idea for the front. Ferro certainly does not lack in the offensive area either. I can already think of a few cool combos with Amber. . .

 

Like using Chips's floating plates to launch Amber into foes.

And I like your idea for the rear. While it's true that during the daytime, Drale would not as useful as Cornelius, he makes up for that at night. And in regards to whether or not he'd stay in the back: Drale is perfectly fine with swapping places with either Ferro or Amber.

Sounds good to me! Due to her reckless and ruthless combat style, Amber would work best blazing a trail for the others in the front.

Ranged attacks? Hm. I suppose Drale could create a bow and arrow type thing. He could also create a slingshot using his own shadow, he'd just have to use a rock or two from the ground. He can also create throwing knives.

And if I understand Cornelius' power, in theory, yes he could by hardening the light in a specific area to create shadows in others after manipulation of it.Also, thanks. I'm a bit of a stratagest.

ah, point. I would like to get Frogmyre's opinion if the light dome would adversely effect Drale's abilities by enclosing him in light, but aside from that, I think Cornelius can handle that plan.

It shouldn't, if the dome dose not allow for light on the inside and makes it purely dark in there, if need be Sandrew could also to that with a dome of earth or ash, but I wouldn't say he could do it too much due to his huge energy limit, and would draw his abilities away from buffing and isn't as easy to break as light is for your character.

The dome would be made of light, so Drale would essentially be under a wall and ceiling of halogen lights shinning on him. While it is "hard light", it is still light. Every construct will glow to some degree or another. Edited July 14, 2014 by rikunobodyxiii

Then make it out of as little light as possible and wide, it would be the effect of a small lamp in a very big, dark room.

As long as the hard light does not allow other light through, a dome of dim light could possibly achieve the desired effect. Although I think that route is probably not going to work anyway. I was just noting a similarity between the powers of Cornelius and Drale. You guys can come up with more possibilities for the two; I can't think of more.
