I want to make a quick announcement: it would seem some people felt there were some issues with Oathkeeper's character's actions, and it seems that outside mods were notified about it, and the posts pertaining to those actions have now been removed. If this is something you find questionable on a site-wide level of course it's your prerogative to report as you see fit, but I figured this may be the best opportunity to go over my personal policies on the matter. I have a rule for the RP that suggests nothing beyond a PG-13 level of sexual content, but of course this is somewhat flexible to the nature of the story and the characters. If you are personally offended by things that are posted here, and wish to take personal action on that account, that's completely fine.

 

However, if you take issue with player actions because of the way you think it affects the RP and the RP's story, I find that to be less a matter for outside parties and more for me and the players involved. Moderation on this site is great, but issues with the story and characters can probably be more specifically and delicately handled if it goes through the members of the RP itself, that way we can veer the story in a better direction instead of having posts removed and leaving people in a jumble of which actions for characters are actually counted as legitimate.

 

Please, if you have a concern with how a player is influencing the story, post on this thread, or, if you want a more anonymous approach, simply PM me, and your identity will be fully concealed if you so wish. This way I can take into consideration the nature of the story, and characters and act accordingly. This way the story can maintain a hopefully steady chronology and not be too meddled if issues arise. Also, this can help to not cause any ill-will between any of you, as all of you are great RPs and I would hate to see any strife here.

 

Also, I'd like to simply point out for the record that, while sexual, I had and continue to have no issue with Oathkeeper's actions during the RP thus far. I want this to be a pleasant and enjoyable RP, but I also feel that allowing people to RP as they see fit for the most part allows for a more dynamic and unique story to take form. I do indeed have set rules for this RP, but RPs in general carry a lot of subjective content and judgement of them can't be black and white, it's something that takes discussion, compromise and understanding. I hope we can all see Evraius through with a fair helping of all of those things, and enjoy the story and other players while we're at it.

I personally didn't do anything save what I said in my post pertaining to Sandrew's reaction, however I felt that that was completely inappropriate (especially for people like me who literally can't stand that kind of thing) and the fact an outside moderator was called in my eyes was an appropriate action. This site is suppose to be friendly to all people of all ages; that wasn't appropriate for the site and thus shouldn't happen, in my opinion, but I also felt that reporting it wasn't really something nessicary seeing as Silver Kuroi is in the RP, as well as you MDS, I doubted it was nessicary to report it seeing as Silver, last I checked, was a Modderator, and since you are a very attentive RP host: if both of you allowed it, it wasn't something worth reporting anyway.And anyway, I haven't seen any of the posts addressing his being removed, since I had two, I should have also gotten an alert about it.

That's not what he means, love. There's a difference between privacy and someone exposing themselves. NeverBetter is saying that it wasn't appropriate for PG-13, which is true. He's not really talking about anything else.

Yup, let's keep on trucking everyone. We had a moment where someone was more nude than it publicly acceptable, I approved of it, and now we're past it. This RP isn't gonna be one about sexual content (Which is why that rule is in place), that's not what the world or general story are about. We're just getting to what I think will be a really interesting part, so no use dwelling on past events.

It's making some people feel uneasy, and this thread is for discussion of the roleplay, and while this sort of thing happened in the roleplay, I can tell it either has or will sidetrack this thread.

I had no problem withthe post where she was dressing (it was distasteful, in my opinion, but other than that, didn't matter) but then Oath posted the post I am talking about (getting very discripteve with the way her body looked and flaunting it around) which is strictly by the book sexual conduct, which is something I don't think should be on this site.
