Exiblade7 1,917 Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) This doesn't have to be keyblade wielders who have to use their right hand to fight. This can include organization 13 as well. This can even include disney characters. Edited June 14, 2014 by Zeldablade7
Fenrissychros 167 Posted June 14, 2014 I think Nomura once said that both Sora and Roxas (and per extent, Xion and Ventus) are ambidextrous 1 Exiblade7 reacted to this
WakelessDream 2,282 Posted June 14, 2014 You might be able to argue that some are ambidextrous. The dual wielders, and some organization members use both hands to fight, (Xemnas, Axel and Xigbar come to mind among others). 1 Exiblade7 reacted to this

Xemnas is Terra's body, and I think he has never wielded the keyblade with the left hand. And now that I remember, Vexen wields the shield in his left arm Sephiroth is left handed, that is known by everyone Edited June 14, 2014 by Fenrissychros 1 Anonn0000 reacted to this

Sorry if I wasn't clear about that. :pNot sure about Vexen and Terra but you're probably right.

Caity 3,946 Posted June 15, 2014 For the sake of deflecting fan cries of outrage if there's a change in the hand they used, I think for most they're considered ambidextrous. Like with Link from Zelda
Sora96 17,256 Posted June 15, 2014 Most people everywhere are right-handed.

Like with Link from ZeldaLink's ambi? In this in recent games? Cause I thought he was left handed. In the tp remake for Wii and (I think, can't remember) skyward sword, he's righty because most people are right handed. Or maybe they gave the hand option at the beginning, I csnt remember. Cricket 1,180 Posted June 15, 2014 Most people everywhere are right-handed. There are tons of left-handed people as well; it doesn't mean Nomura would favor one over the other. I think it is quite cool that we have left-handed and right-handed wielders...it adds variety and new styles to a character's persona and abilities. I don't think he favors one over the other. He was left handed for the majority up until he was made right handed since the majority of players in the motion controlled games are right handed, most people think he's similar to Miyamoto himself who's ambidextrous but prefers his left hand, and likes making left handed characters but the fact the player can choose left handed or right gives the indication that he's ambidextrous. Saying that also saves arguments between fans who moan about him being one or the other. Edit: Note even if he's right handed with his sword in one, but uses his bow like a lefty for example. Giving more evidence that he is ambidextrous. And by making him ambidextrous, they're making his character more vague for the player to link with, since Link should be the player Edited June 15, 2014 by Caity Raindrop 1 Ghost reacted to this

Nintendo is always doing nice things to make players feel like they're more involved. Being ambidextrous makes Link all the more of an intimidating opponent; pretty badass, too, I iust won't take my chances going up against him lmao.Oh, have you seen those video game character deadliest warrior-style videos? There was one with cloud vs.link and Link came out as the winner. It was pretty fun to watch
Neptune Vasilias 340 Posted June 16, 2014 Even if most are Right-Handed or Ambidextrous they probably still are capable of switching hands for the sake of combat

Well of course there are, but it's just a matter of most in this question which is correct.
