Shulk 8,623 Posted June 11, 2014 As a lot of us know, Nintendo's still got an unannounced 3DS game that they're showing soon (Later today if I remember correctly). What do you all think it will be? I've seen a ton of people thinking Majora's Mask, but I think that's easy to rule out since there's no way they'd spend 90 minutes talking about a port of an N64 game. I'm thinking Metroid, since we haven't seen one of those in a long time. It's likely a big game, since they've put it off to be shown on its own. Metroid makes the most sense to me, personally. What do you think?
Kaweebo 3,617 Posted June 11, 2014 Metroid: Other M Redux. Exactly the same game, just with a completely different story that doesn't suck ass.
Tails 6,690 Posted June 11, 2014 Please let it be Metroid. I would love to have a new Metroid game for my 3DS. I really don;t think that it's a MM remake because why would they announce and release 2 3DS remakes at once? 1 Dio Brando reacted to this
lostmemory123 1,056 Posted June 11, 2014 I think its a new IP,as much as people hope for Metroid,I dont think theyd ever need to use 90 minutes to talk about a game from an established franchise, them taking those 90 minutes talking about something completely new makes more sense. 1 Omega Ness reacted to this
Cucco 1,907 Posted June 11, 2014 There were a lot of majoras mask hints, like in the hyrule warriors screenshot and zelda williams was holding a cosplay majoras mask. I'm leaning towards MM 3d 1 Exiblade7 reacted to this

I really don;t think that it's a MM remake because why would they announce and release 2 3DS remakes at once? I think there's a chance that, if they show any more games, MM3D has a chance since Zelda Williams had that giant Majora's Mask, and apparently the Smash tournament wasn't the big surprise she had. However, it's definitely not the game that's going to be announced soon.
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted June 11, 2014 Mario rehash? Or, the final Sonic. Only Metroid does seem more probable.
Dio Brando 5,810 Posted June 11, 2014 A Metroid game,Majora's Mask,Mother 3 3D or a Megaman game Those are my hopes

Reggies said no new Mario games in E3 aside from Mario Maker and Captain Toad and those aren't new Also not all mario games are rehashes
Shulk 8,623 Posted June 11, 2014 when exactly they will announce the new game? I believe it's at 5:30 PM Pacific Time.
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted June 11, 2014 Reggies said no new Mario games in E3 aside from Mario Maker and Captain Toad and those aren't new Also not all mario games are rehashes I didn't say that. Games like Mario 3D World was uniquely original. Very creative, in my opinion. It's just that the franchise, especially on 3DS seems broken. Yoshi's island seemed repetitive. Mario Kart 7&8 aren't as exhilarating as old ones. And 3D Land was a straight up N64 remake.
Dio Brando 5,810 Posted June 11, 2014 Anyway, the 3DS title might end up being the project S.T.E.A.M thing that they were teasing a while ago....which most likely is the case 1 lostmemory123 reacted to this

According to the Nintendo World report and Twitter, its called "CodeName:Steam."The setting takes place in what seems to be London, everything is apperently in a comic book style, with a steampunk kind of theme, its turn based strategy game as well,Nintendo should have a video up for us by tonight showing it and Nintendo Treehouse will show a demo for it tomorrow. Shulk 8,623 Posted June 12, 2014 Dragon Quest VII. Actually, it was just shown to be a new IP. Besides, they wouldn't spend 90 minutes talking about a remake.
