Tails 6,692 Posted July 8, 2014 Fi from Skyward Sword confirmed to be playable in Hyrule Warriors: 1 white_hawkç reacted to this
Isaix 924 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) I knew it,they said on twitter that there was like 98% probabilities that a new character would be announce this week, that was obviously a reference to Fi,I'm not particularly a fan of her,but I'm glad to see her in the game because it means that Ghirahim will also be in the game too, probably as a boss which is pretty cool.I think we see skyloft on the right as a location which is also pretty cool. Now I see why Hyrule warriors is not part of the Zelda timeline, they take like random elements from every game,it wouldn't make sense in the timeline that Midna and Fi exist at the same time. Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) Also Link and Zelda have new gear. Link has the Iron Fists with the Ball and Chain, while it appears that Zelda has some sort of spear/staff. Both also have their Skyward Sword appearances as DLC. Expecting videos for Fi's playstyle and Link and Zelda's new playstyles. I'm pretty excited that I can be in Zelda's Skyward Sword outfit. Fi was expected the moment that they said 98% probability. Can we get another male character now! I'll update the poll at the end of the week. EDIT: So I made a mistake with Zelda's new weapon (She has two). Her other new weapon is barely visible that the staff/pole practically covers it. What that weapon actually is is a tiny, yet extremely well-known item that has the ability to control the winds. Zelda gains +10 favoritism for the combined SS outfit and Wind Waker usage. Too much confusion going on in the news for Hyrule Warriors due to the obvious poor placement of Zelda's image in the newest Famitsu article. Zelda only has one new weapon reveal and that is the Wind Waker. Edited July 8, 2014 by Hero of Winds
Tails 6,692 Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) New Hyrule Warriors Scans Show Ghirahim, The Imprisoned, and Skyward Sword Stages: Edited July 9, 2014 by Tails 1 white_hawkç reacted to this
Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Bigger Scan It also holds all of this information: Can shop between battles Shopping area includes at least training room, potion shop, badge shop and junk shop Junk shop will be introduced in a later magazine In training shop you can pay rupees to level up your character Characters also level up through normal gameplay Potions are one time use only and cause special effect during a battle It seems that one potion makes easier to obtain weapons (not entirely clear) Badge shop uses rupees and raw materials to buy permanent badges Raw materials are obtained from killing monsters and monsters have unique loot as well as some rare drops. Enemies also drop rupees One badge makes weak spot gauge to fill up faster Badge shop interface seems like a tree of sorts so I guess you have to make badges in a certain order, no word about it though You can see from stage select menu if a stage has heart containers or pieces to collect but you may need to use a certain character to get them Heart container/pieces work pretty much like in any Zelda game You may also obtain a power up bow from a chest The bow makes weak spot gauge to last longer and can attack multiple enemies from afar Fi moves by floating midair, can transform into a sword to slash enemies Link meets Fi in the Skyloft’s Goddess’ temple Ghirahim fights with magical swords, can summon enemies and change place in an instant, likes to toy with his enemies The imprisoned is tall as a mountain and emits damaging waves when it steps Cia twists space-time to summon forth areas from Skyward sword, e.g. Skyloft and Sealed grounds as pictured Pumpkin island is crashed with Skyloft as pictured No indication as to whether or not Ghirahim is playable yet; the description in Famitsu could be...about his boss moves or character outline in general If Link uses Power gloves and drops off ball & chain, he can lift pillars, jars, or even enemies With the legendary baton from Wind waker, Zelda can command winds and fight by playing songs You can blow enemies away with wind or the sound can turn into lightning bolts You can also summon tornados to snatch enemies away After you select a character for a stage you select the weapon You can't change weapons in battle Weapons differ a lot from each other and it is part of the fun to test which one suits you Edited July 10, 2014 by Hero of Winds
GotMilk5101520 573 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) SCREW THIS!!!! JUST TELL US IF GROOSTON IS IN THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!! IF SKYLOFT AND FI ARE THERE, THEN PLEASE LET GROOSTON BE A PLAYABLE CHARACTER!!!!!!! Edited July 10, 2014 by GotMilk5101520
Fierce Deity Link 926 Posted July 10, 2014 Wind Waker is beautiful. ;v; 1 white_hawkç reacted to this
Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Link spawns in with the Power Gauntlets and Ball and Chain, but he can drop it to use the Power Gauntlets for things like picking up massive pillars, or even enemies. Zelda's Wind Waker looks better than ever. I'll probably be using the Skyward Sword outfits if we get the preorder DLC as well. But the use of the Wind Waker gives me hope that we'll see the Toon versions and other characters like Medli or the King of Red Lions. Also, the Groosenator (Groose's cannon) was spotted in the screenshots that were uploaded today, so people are holding out hopes that's a hint toward Groose. Isaix 924 Posted July 10, 2014 I really hate when they announce DLC like this before the game is even release, why not include those in the game as unlockable and then when the game is release you can make DLC.I'm definitly not buying any of them and I REALLY hope they don't make level DLC,that would piss me off. I don't know if I'm going to manage to preorder this one or not since there are a lot of other games coming later this year that I want, but the SS costumes look really nice. 1 Hero of Winds reacted to this

Yeah, I already have Smash 3DS paid off and 2.5 ReMIX paid off, so I just need to put money on Smash Wii U, Bayonetta, and other titles, though, Hyrule Warriors is the closest and I have plenty of time to pay off Bayonetta and Smash Wii U, as well as the various other titles slated for 2015. I'm trying to get UNSR, both Smash versions, Pokemon, 2.5, and Hyrule Warriors... I've got way too much crap to go for. ._ HW is sadly at the bottom of my priorities, as excited as I am for it. I'm busy with classes though, so I'm still trying to figure out how I'll get the money for all of them. I have a lot of old games that I should be able to sell to get the money for at least one game. Anyway, to keep on the topic: Hopefully you got the job! I'd go get one, but college is crazy right now. ._. If I get into a good position next semester (Which I should since it's mostly stuff that comes naturally to me), I'll probably try to find a part-time job somewhere. That's Groose's cannon from Skyward Sword, right? I heard they showed it, it's been a while since I played SS though.

Yeah, it's his cannon. The Groosenator may be an environmental weapon, or it could reference that we've got a Groose on the loose. He and Ghirahim are basically the two biggest fan favorites from Skyward Sword. I'm all for them. Groose is one of the few characters in Zelda that made such a major character development. He went from low-class bully to high-class savior of the Surface world. He may not have stopped the threat, but he played his role in being a great partner to Link. I just need some Toon Link, Toon Zelda, and Vaati and I'll be good to go. 1 Shulk reacted to this
