Cucco 1,907 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) In the previous kingdom hearts games, the disney worlds felt kind of short and didn't go all out on trying to bring out the best in these worlds. In KH1, most of the worlds had a direct involvement in the story or helped sora find out about what exactly he was doing. In KH2, it just kind of went through a butchered up version of the plot in the movie with an org. XIII character in it in every world. The trend went on from there and I want it to stop. In KHIII I want every possibility to be explored for worlds, and I don't want to leave any world having the feeling that it was a shallow experience. I made this video a while ago, and I think it gets my point across pretty well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_Jl9YOLLa4&list=UUzPRmYAdIz6ZFDqWsgaPCVg&feature=share&index=1 Edited June 10, 2014 by Cucco 1 liamaru reacted to this
Kaweebo 3,617 Posted June 10, 2014 Honestly, I thought they improved upon Return of Jafar in KHII. That movie was just butchered by itself. Anyway, I disagree that there has been a trend of shitty worlds in the KH series. Apart from a few, I thought most were fine in KHII. (Namely Pirates of the Caribbean, which was reported to have been added in last-second to sell tickets to the movie, even then I didn't think it was terrible.) Birth by Sleep's worlds were fine, 358's were fine, Coded's were dumb but that whole game was just Kingdom Hearts 1 with blocks so, eh...and I haven't played DDD so can't comment on that. As far as Olympus Coliseum goes, I agree that it's over-used, though I understand why it's so over-used. It's the 'Tournament' world where you can fight hordes of enemies to your heart's content. This is true in both KH1, 2 and 358. It was obligatorily added to BBS, but it did add to the story with the inclusion of Zack from Crisis Core. But, yes, I'd love to see the cataclysmic events at the end of Hercules be the main focus of that world in KHIII. (And Lightning as a party member makes a lot of sense)

sagman12PC 280 Posted August 2, 2014 The worlds in KH3 will be MUCH larger than KH1 and KH2. The PS4 and Xbox One have 10x the computing power of the PS3 and X360. Remember, the games will also be on a Blu-Ray disc with massive storage capabilities unlike DVD's back during the PS2 days
FutureKeybearer 36 Posted August 2, 2014 I never really had that problem with previous games
liamaru 294 Posted August 2, 2014 yeah i see what you mean and it's been a topic of interest for quite some time but i think kh3 will take full advantage of the power of the ps4 and give us something revalutionary.
VeNate13 144 Posted August 3, 2014 I hope you can visit worlds and have multiple episodes for them! Like in Kingdom Hearts 2!

Keyblader_95 1,410 Posted August 3, 2014 Well, I personally never felt like the worlds were butchered in Kingdom Hearts II or in any other chapter. Also, there's not really that much difference in the way they developed the worlds plot throughout the series.

I agree but I wouldn't mind more story in the Disney worlds
Keyblader_95 1,410 Posted August 3, 2014 I agree but I wouldn't mind more story in the Disney worlds Gameplay length shouldn't be a problem with all the room the PS4 has to give.
