Everyone knows that when you go to the Pride Lands in KH2, Sora takes on the form of a lion, to maintain the world order & all that jazz. Well, I was thinking: Don't you think he looks a bit small? He looks like a lion cub, he looks about the same size as Simba in the first movie. Sora is 15, so I just found it odd that he looks like a baby lion. This thought just randomly came to me as I was looking at lion Sora & I was bored, so I decided to make a thread. Do you think Sora looks a bit young in his lion form? Idk how old Simba is, but I feel like Sora should be around the same size, maybe a bit smaller, but definitely not a cub.

I think that's the point. They wanted Sora to look like Simba when he was a cub.

They needed a contrast between Sora and Simba.  A half-mane version of Sora just wasn't going to cut. And Sora couldn't be much bigger than Donald and Goofy's forms when Sora is a little shorter than Goofy normally.

My theory is that they wanted you to see the innocence in Sora's heart. When you see a baby child or animal, you automatically think: innocence. Because Sora basically has the innocence of a child in his heart. But it's just a weird theory that just came to me.

Thanks. And I was just guessing. I just see how innocent Sora is (which is one of his best qualities) and figured that's why he's a lion cub. I was just rambling xD

That would make sense. Another thing I would say in my opinion is that it's SE logic.

I never thought of that. Yea he does look small but i wouldn't want them to change it.

I wouldn't want him changed either. I just feel like he looked small considering his actual age. Edited by NO_HEART_XIII

Well if you consider that a lion can live until aprox. 20 years old, that means that a lion with 20 years would correspond to an adult person with 70 years old. Therefore, Sora is only 15 years old, that means in lion form he would only have about 1 to 2 years aprox.

This means that Nomura actually followed the Zoology parameters on that. Just saying...
