Geotrix 862 Posted May 30, 2014 I always do these music topic posts. I can't think of anything else to post. Besides, I don't want to add to the already blooming KH3 topic's unless its relevant. Anyway, worst remix of an existing game tune? This may be quite a hard one to do for some people but i've got one ready. Nocturne in Sonic Chronicles is an absolutely dreadful remix of Big Arm from Sonic 3 that it's laughable, considering how good Cash Cash did it in Generations 3DS. I MEAN COMPARE THIS. TO THIS. Well Sonic Chronicles was just a whole layer of awful. The gritty quality of the baseline in the original is completely absent, and that's a real shame. I'm glad that the Generations mix did it justice, but Jesus Christ Sonic Chronicles butchered music. Then again, I was concentrating more on defeating the bosses quickly than listening to the music. And that right there is a flaw: a good game would have players enjoy both music and bosses at once. I couldn't honestly beat Chronicles, extremely boring and just down right ugly game. The battle system was pretty boring and it being purely stylist controlled was annoying. I'm usually like that but if I'm bored by a game I'll just forget about it, Sonic Chronicles was boring to me and to me a boring game is worse than a bad game (at least with a game like Sonic 06 and Ride to Hell, you play it because of how bad it is that it can be amusing) with boring games there is nothing to enjoy and therefore I can't get back to it. I didn't had earphones at the time, so I never heard the sound in the game. Gameplay and story was alright though. Not the best, but ok. I never heard a bad remix of an existing tone before (but I heard bad remixes of songs though), but then again, I, for some reason, don't pay attention to sound when I play games unless it hooks me.
