Sora96 17,256 Posted May 22, 2014 This month, Advent Children Complete was finally released on Netflix. The original version, Advent Children is available on iTunes (two pages for it.) And one of the two versions (not sure which one) is available on the PlayStation Store in Japan. Hopefully this is a good sign, and Square Enix will release Advent Children Complete onto various other digital movie services in the near future. 3 Keyblader_95, WakelessDream and Ceriraye reacted to this

Excuse me sir, I'd like to have a digital copy of it since I only have the physical one: can you recommend me a website where I can purchase and download it (if it does exist)? (Advent Children Complete of course)

I couldn't do something illegal with those youtube videos even if I wanted to Well for the digital copy, maybe I can just extract and copy the disc data
Cucco 1,907 Posted May 22, 2014 It's only in japanese, I prefer the english dub. I have the blu-ray though so It doesn't really matter anyways.

Shulk 8,623 Posted May 24, 2014 I only got halfway through this movie back when it was on Hulu, it was honestly really disappointing. I had high expectations, but the story was way too boring for me to really care about anything. The action was the only really good part of it.

Shulk 8,623 Posted May 24, 2014 I couldn't find it on Hulu. But regardless, Complete is A LOT better than the original version. From what I understand, the only thing that Complete changed was an extended Cloud vs Sephiroth fight. My issue was more with the story itself, specifically Kadaj's gang. They just felt really weird as villains.

My issue was more with the story itself, specifically Kadaj's gang. They just felt really weird as villains. Far from it. Advent Children Complete is 25 minutes longer than the original cut of the film and also contains roughly one thousand revised scenes. Themes expanded in Advent Children Complete include Cloud's development, Denzel's background, and a more in-depth view of the Turks and Rufus Shinra. As various titles from Compilation of FINAL FANTASY VII were released after the original film's release, the staff wanted to add links to other titles in the series. There is more violence in this version, specifically more blood during the fights, as the staff wanted to bring a "dirtier" look to the film, with characters' faces and clothes getting darker and dirtier throughout the battles. Additionally, the fight between Cloud and Sephiroth was expanded by several minutes, and includes a scene in which Sephiroth impales Cloud on his sword and holds him in the air, mirroring the scene in the game where he performs the same action. Trust me, I wasn't a big fan of the original version but loved Complete.
