Edit: Looking at the video, it could be a special type of mega evolution, or me just over speculating and it's just to make the line glow effects more epic that what they already were.

 

Then there's "new world." Ooh maybe this is a "BW 2" they're pulling off. Makes sense as in Emerald you can't catch either mascots till post game, so you can assume the protagonists Ruby and Saphire (Brendan and May respectively) never captured them. Thus making these new versions sequels to Emerald. Maybe neo Team Magma and Aqua? My head is having too many thoughts...

Maybe a sequel to the story of Ruby and Sapphire like what Black and White 2 did...but that's just my speculation

I was thinking the same thing when it said a brand new world...maybe it'll be set 10 years in the future that would be cool...though it would piss off the people how just want a remake

I think Groundonite and Kyogrite will happen. They pulled the mega stone on Mewtwo, a legendary, and they can do it here.

Well it'll be both a remake and a sequel since Hoenn would be remade,though I'd expect the events to take place 2 years after the defeat of Team Aqua and Magma

What I think would cool is if it was like a parallel world where Team Aqua/Magma won and the world is 90% land/water and you start on a new adventure to return the world back to balance using mega Groudon/Kyogre

Is prefer it to just be a simple remake of the gab games like soul silver and heart gold were to the gbc games. BUT if after you were done with the game they continued the story further than the gab games than that would be even better!
