What is the most confusing TV show\movie\anime you've ever watched in your entire life?

I'm sure at some point you've watched something that you've tried so hard to understand what's going on in it but to no avail.

 

 

Mine is,and I swear even after watching it five times I'm still in total confusion,has to be none other than the one and only.....

 

 

End of Evangilion has to be the most confusing thing I've ever seen in my entire life....period.Heck even after watching the original series,which btw has an absolutely shitty ending with many-we ran out of budget-scenes at the last two episodes,even after watching the original series and rewatching this five times I got even more confused....like wow I can understand KH+MGS+Compilation of FF7 all combined into one pasta totally fine more so than even the first five minutes of End of Evangillion

 

The Rebuild series better fix this shit up,because if the ending of the fourth movie is anything like this,my mind will literally explode just from the amount of confusion that the Evangillion franchise induced on me.....just wow.

Oddly enough, Eureka 7. It goes from this simple future mech anime to... well... there's aliens and military guys and religion and enviromental messages and... I can't even explain it anymore. lol You have to watch it to get it and even I don't get it after my first run. Might want to see it it again just to clear up the confusion.

Fooly Cooly was the most confusing anime I ever watched. But after watching it 3 times, I came to one conclusion and it made sense of the entire show.

 

Factor Logic.

 

With that in mind, I was able to watch the show again and again with ease, and understand it.

Tree Of Palm. It's an animé movie based loosely on Pinocchio but even though I know the story it's based on it's still the most confusing thing I've ever watched! I also found myself spending quite some time trying to get my head round the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle manga. The first half of it is a pretty simple (though very enjoyable) action/adventure/romance where the characters travel to different dimensions/worlds on a quest (reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts), then everything suddenly goes crazy! I think I understand most everything now though... You need to know the stories of both Cardcaptor Sakura and xxxHolic as well as understand time travel and paradoxes to get it.   

I should clarify that the Tsubasa manga has been turned into an animé show (which ends whilst the story's still child friendly) as well as five OVAs all of which I've watched so it can be included in this topic (though the ending has never been animated).

I also want to mention Tsubasa, even though it's a manga. My head was literally hurting while reading the final volumes... I still think it's good, but it took me awhile to understand what was going on, and even now, it still kinda confuses me. But not so much anymore. Lol, the best part about Tsubasa is that when you start reading it, you're expecting some average shonen manga, and then...

And on top of it, you should pretty much be familiar with all CLAMP mangas to understand everything about it. xxxHolic and Cardcaptor Sakura are the most important ones, but there's more...

 

From TV-series, I think the most confusing one that I've watched is Twin Peaks...If you've watched it, I don't think you need an explanation for my opinion? Very good series, though.

Also, Mulholland Drive (which is a movie though) was also super confusing. I watched it, but didn't understand it AT ALL. It was intended to be a TV-series, so that might be a part of the reason why it's so hard to understand.
