Do you prefer to play games on handhelds or on game consoles?

Both of them are good options, because when I'm home, I enjoy my console games and play through them, but when I'm out on trips or not around the house, handheld consoles are there to save the day.  That's the best thing about video games.  There's always a way you can play them, be it in your house or on the go!

I prefer handhelds, just because they're way more convenient. I can play them anywhere I want, and I have way more handheld games than console games.

I prefer handhelds, but not because I can take them anywhere. I rarely play videogames outside of my own house.

I just find the whole experience far more immersive. Holding a handheld up close and using headphones is my ideal way to play games. I especially love playing older console games that have been re-released/remade on a handheld (e.g. Persona 4 Golden, Ocarina of Time 3D, etc.)

 

It's one of the reasons I like the Wii U so much. I can play a modern console game entirely on the gamepad and get the same experience that I get playing a handheld. Maybe at some point, Nintendo will even release some games for their dying system.  :dry:

Personally, I don't care about platform or graphics. Mainly game-play and storyline.
