Kingdom Hearts: Decolor Censura RP

Recommended Posts

Stan

Stan followed Cron into the lab, concerned about his fellow Decolor agent. It didn't take a genius to tell that there was more wrong with the assassin than just her missing hand. "Cron, hold on." he said, "I get that you're upset. If anyone else in the Decolor went through what you just did, they'd be angry and want revenge too. But you need time to cool down and let the adrenaline ware off before you do anything else."

Clara

Clara grew nervous when Cron ran out of the room, but decided to leave her alone when she saw Stan going after her, causing Clara to relax a little. She went to find Quincy to see if he could supply Cron with a replacement hand, but to he surprise, he was already on it. As Cron and Stan went off to the lab, Clara walked over to Quincy and smiled, "Thanks for letting Cron use one your robotic hand, that was kind of you." she was about to ask what Quincy was planning on using it for, then decided it wasn't any of her business, "I hope she ends up okay. I want her to rest and take some time off, but I'm sure she'd say no." Clara then decided to change the subject, "So, what have you been up to?"

{Casumi & JayCee: Elympios; Ruins}

JayCee managed to keep a hold on his gunblade after Snider's attempt to disarm him, but was pulled off his balance. He recovered and was about to press his attack against the Commander when Pullo gave his latest proclamation. The Outlaw worked his jaw a little, then backed off of Snider and Victoria. He figured he owed the guy who saved him from two bullet wounds something.

"I guess this just ain't our time." He said, tipping his hat to Snider.

He winked at Victoria.

"Nice shooting, ma'am."

He continued to back away as the two Light Soldiers checked on the downed Zion. He just watched till Snider threw his Keyblade. His gunblade whipped up and he quickly took aim. With a squeeze of the trigger, he fired a blast of energy out of his gunblade, which hit Snider's Keyblade and knocked it off course.

"We've been asked nice to stop fighting." He said, his tone a little dark.

He jestured to Zion.

"You got wounded. You wanna risk her life?"

Casumi/Valfore took Charlotte's bullet to her chest, causing her to faulter in flight, but she regained control of her flight. As soon as she saw Milo jet up, she took off in a grade swoop, staying away from the ground and gaining distance from Milo. As soon as she felt she was far enough, she turned in midair and fired a laser at the Light Captain.

Blore (Elympios)

Watching Milo take off into the air and begin to chase after the Drake, Blore was left with some serious reservations about this bizarre party he'd discovered. He was used to encountering and fighting creatures and beings with extraordinary powers, but such feats were usually reserved to great beings, not humans.

...Assuming, of course...

That particular train of thought was cut short by the sight of the soldiers dragging back the winged woman, who, much to Blore's surprise, bore a large arrow sticking out of her abdomen. That, coupled with Pullo's threats, seemed to have brought the action to at least a temporary halt. For his part, Blore did not much like the idea of leaving a threat such as the one which currently faced them standing, but given the power of the enemy, perhaps it was better to find a more suitable time and place. What's more, if the girl's life was at risk, far better to drop everything to keep her alive.

Keeping his eye on the DeColor agents, the undead shuffled his way to the side of Victoria and Charlotte, hoping that Pullo kept true to his word about the whole "cease fire" thing.

Zion saw Xion.

"XION! XIOOOON!"

What translated to reality was Zion looking up at Victoria, a bloody hand already at Victoria's cheek. "Xion...Xi, don't leave me. Please Xi, don't leave me." The girl's closed eyes leaked tears. "I'm afraid Xi. I'm so afraid."

Her hand went slack. She had entered cardiac arrest.

[Elympios. Swanson Ruins]

Watching his keyblade veer off course thanks to JayCee's interference, Snider quickly called back his keyblade as the weapon vanished in a puff of smoke and reappeared in his hands. "We've been asking nicely to stop fighting." The commander heard the stranger remark. "You got wounded. You wanna risk her life?"

Snider sighed, unsure whether to admit technical defeat, or show these rebels the true fury of the light. "Alright then. Me and the two girls here are standing down then." The commander nodded towards Milo and Emily. "Not sure about those two though." At this point, Blore had also formed up near the two sergeants, to which the commander remarked, "And ditto on that guy."

"I'm not feeling a heartbeat!" Victoria shouted to her sister and Snider, "Help me, Commander!" As Charlotte carefully laid Zion down, Snider quickly kneeled next to the winged blond and the two sergeants who were frantically pumping as much healing magic as they could. "Focus your healing on her heart and mind. Life support, essentially." The two girls nodded, then proceeded to heed the commander's suggestion as a transmission came through their earpieces. "This is the Liberator to Hartmann, standby for dust off."

Liberator... Snider echoed the name in awe as the sound of its stealth engines finally broke its silence up above. The shadow of the rather large medical ship quickly darkened the immediate landscape as the ship descended; its powerful downdraft from the engines blowing away bits of the earth that were directly below it. Victoria and Charlotte covered Zion with their bodies while Snider kept his body low to the ground. He remembered the first time encountering the ship, where the downdraft swept him off his feet and sent him flying away from the ship a solid three meters. Bright spotlights illuminated Zion and those around her, including Blore. Snider looked up and was blinded by the spotlight, but also caught a glimpse of the renowned pristine white paint job of the ship. The now deafening roar of the engines died away as a loading ramp started descending from the ship, where medical personnel and heavily armed Marines were waiting on the other end.

"Stabilize the patient!" one of the personnel yelled, and the group of helpers stormed down the ramp towards Zion. The marines had their rifles trained on anyone who didn't look like someone from the light army. With Zion now being whisked away on a stretcher, Victoria and Charlotte followed the group into the belly of the ship. Snider stood at the base of the ramp, and looked up towards one of the marines. "I didn't think that the request would warrant this ship to respond."

"It's for keyblade wielders," the rifleman replied back, "you know how it is for the rest of us, right Snider?"

"Heh... Yeah. It's not fair for you all."

"Don't start the waterworks on us. You coming in or what?"

"I need to wait for someone." He glanced over to Milo. "Maybe we should listen to these rebels for now and take our leave. But, if you want, I can call in a Task Force and take care of this once and for all." Awaiting a response, the commander turned to face Blore. "As for you, why did you stay around when you could have run away? You could have gotten yourself hurt, and I don't need a civilian casualty mark on my military record."

[severa, Neena, Milo, and Pullo]

Neena took the bullet to the leg and was sent skidding backwards. She snarled at the pain, and clenched her fist. Bullets sucked. Really sucked. At this point, her victim was surrounded by some of the other soldiers. Good. She had disabled the strongest one here. Now she could move on... The pain in her leg throbbed. Goodness gracious bullets sucked. Neena watched as Severa slipped in between the double thrust of Emily's and caused a huge explosion between them. It of course sent Severa flying backwards, but it more than likely did the same to her opponent, and with the stab wound Severa had already inflicted, that was likely the finisher. Neena smirked. The sacrifice move to end a fight definitely seemed in line with the Ryonne school of thought. The Mercenary straggled to her feet, and walked her charbroiled self over towards the Assassin.

"Y'know chief, this really wasn't in the job description." Severa said, cross with her boss.

"Don't worry, this'll be over soon." Neena said, then stood to her full height and pulled out her bow. Her leg throbbed intensely. Neena gritted her teeth. Just one more attack...

Milo put his keyblade up just in time to guard from the laser. However, the strength of the attack still sent him hurtling towards the ground. The Elementalist landed and skidded. Milo got to his knees and remeasured the situation. This was not going their way. Without warning, Pullo materialized from the ground right next to Milo.

"I hear your the one to go to about getting out of here." Pullo said. Milo nodded. "Then get out." Milo shook his head. Fine. Diplomacy wasn't going to work. Pullo despised violence for many reasons, but being good at it wasn't one. The Legionnaire kicked Milo in the side. The Elementalist went sprawling to the ground, not prepared for the attack. Milo quickly leaped to his feet, and lunged at Pullo. Titus Pullo stepped to the side, dodging the attack, then pushed violently with his shield, Milo going back several yards. "Your reckless right now, but your style has some semblance of being sensible. I'd guess your kind of shocked right now, or simply not trying your best. It'd be in your best interest to leave now." Milo looked around again. There were far more rebels still standing than those of the original group. Maybe retreat wasn't such a bad idea. Milo tapped a bracelet on his wrist, and Ragnarok came screeching in. Milo leaped on board into the cockpit, then began to hover overhead, next to the Liberator. Milo radioed Snider. "Let's check out. You guys board the Liberator, I'll cover you." He said simply. It was that second that a huge explosion erupted on the landing ramp of the other ship.

Neena had charged an arrow with dark energy, then let it fly. It impacted right where she had wanted it to, on the landing ramp of the medivac. Of course, it then exploded. Neena then turned around. She summoned a dark corridor. "Let's go Severa. JayCee, Casumi!" She called to her other two allies. Neena then walked through the corridor. Severa followed suit.

[syfe & Leonarda]

Syfe finally reached the ground floor of the train station again. Everything seemed to be quite fine... Except for one thing. Leonarda was interacting with someone very detrimental to everyone's health. "Hey Leona!" The Officer called. Leonarda quickly skipped over.

"Sup?"

"That guy you were talking to is a dark soldier. I do hope you didn't tell him anything important." Leonarda rolled her eyes.

"I'm not stupid you know. Of course I didn't tell him anything."

"Good. Keep it that way. Also, I'm going to conduct a test. We have a recruit raring to go. It is in Form D." Leonarda thought for a second on what that meant, then nodded.

"Got it." She then turned and walked back towards Sandrew and Brandon. Meanwhile, Syfe walked over towards Braxen.

"Hello Braxen. My name is Stfe Lhant." Syfe offered his hand to his possible next recruit.

[Hiroki]

Hiroki caught the bolt of light, then threw it back at the Queen. Oh, how he'd love to finish her off right now. But no. A simple assassination wouldn't do. A more public form of death would be the best. Hiroki growled, then dashed back over to the body of his friend, and then disappeared into nothingness.

[Quincy]

Good. Cron would get her hand back. Quincy looked up into the eyes of Clara. He listened to her words before replying. "I suppose it could be seen as kind. I mean, she gets a hand, and I get to test my newest prototype. Um, I mean, yes of course! She'll get her hand back! How wonderful that she might return to her life of daring do and assassination! Everyone wins! As for my doings, I'm still working on fabricating that keyblade for Le Chef. I trust that you wouldn't be out here talking to me if you didn't have any other patients?" Quincy asked.

[Ryonne]

The Swordsman walked away from Azalea when he heard Alexi, Hotaru, and Lunaris talking over the mission, specifically the Void Witch. Approaching them, he spoke. "Perhaps I can help. I was there. We happened across a patient labeled as Lacuna, under a project known as Project Extinction. We accidentally woke her up, then Cron attacked her. We had a small squabble, which ended in the Void Witch whipping Cron's hand off." Ryonne shrugged. "I wish I knew more about who that was, but she disappeared before we could get much more information, and we didn't get much from our other sources either." Ryonne reported, keeping it brief, as he was one to do.

[Le Chef's Restaurant]

The entryway bell rang. "Oh Le Chef! Just your favorite customer coming in for a visit!" A voice said, originating from the entryway. More footsteps could be heard. Eventually, a figure dressed all up as a clown, or a jester, with a painted white face, appeared in the kitchen with a broad smile. "Ah, my good friend! Why are you hiding back here? It's so dull." At dull, the figures voice turned rather unhappy and his expression turned rather grim with it. "And you have a lady friend! Why Le Chef, I didn't expect you to dive into such a fine cuisine as this one!" The figure said, suddenly right next to Thet, his arm around her shoulders. He cackled as if that was the funniest joke he'd ever made. "I just wanted to drop by real quick check on how you were doing. I heard you were getting even more business than usual! Of course, that's not hard to believe with your splendid cooking."

[Mali]

Mali frowned. This was not good. Several of her more important labs and outposts had been absolutely demolished, and the reports said it was by only one person. She had already tried sending some of her more elite units after the culprit, but that ended with a few more tally marks on the death roll. Mali sighed. That meant one thing. Mali called Brandon, and waited for him to answer on his phone.

{Alexi: Home; Infirmary}

Alexi looked surprised by Hotaru's report.

"I do think an accurate report from Cron is in order." He commented. "Is she still in the infirmary?"

He turned slightly as Ryonne came up and explained what he knew.

"Lacuna." He echoed, trying out the word out for his memory. "I seem to recall some sort of legend around that name. But to have Cron to react so strongly to a legend...maybe she knows the project name."

The Founder looked thoughtful for a moment, then looked at Ryonne and Hotaru.

"Anything else to report on the mission?"

{Thet: Twilight Town; Le Chef's Restaurant}

Thet nodded.

"Don't worry." She said confidently. "They'll be there."

With the sudden appearance of the jester, Thet tensed. Her fist tightened as he appeared beside her. A slight crackle of electricity could be seen on her gloves. She didn't like clowns. They were always trouble.

"And who would this be, dear?" Thet asked Le Chef, forcing a smile and deciding to go along with the jester's assumption of a romantic attachment.

{Casumi & JayCee: Elympios; Ruins}

Casumi/Vanfore swooped around in the sky, halting further attacks to see what Pullo was doing. She considered finishing Neena's work and making sure the winged lady was ash, especially with how the Light Soldiers were treating her. She maneuvered to dive bomb the soldiers heading for the ship, but unexpectedly found JayCee to have moved to be in the line of fire. The Outlaw pushed up his head, his weather beaten face looking directly up at her. He shook his head. Casumi/Vanfore wasn't sure what was going on here. Wasn't he one of the hired help? Then why did he seem to be calling shoots?

After resolving to attack the ship anyway, even if JayCee got hit, Casumi/Vanfore saw Neena's arrow and her call to retreat. Obeying her superior immediately, the Shape Summoner dived for the Dark Portal. When she was a few yards from the ground, light and runes surrounded her, leaving her normal humanoid feline shape to hit the ground in a roll and jump through the portal.

JayCee smiled at the Light Soldiers and tipped his hat.

"You'll understand if I say 'let's not do this again'." He commented in a friendly tone.

With his free left hand, he pushed a button on his right wrist and slightly under his duster sleeve. He disappeared in a swirl of darkness.

{Ina: Space}

"Great." Ina thought. "Power struggle."

"If you think your family can protect you, I can take you there." She told Evie. "I can get you home."

The Outsider's opinion of taking Evie to her home wasn't good, but if her family had power and secrets, then maybe they could protect their own.

"Wait, what was that name?" She thought, something pinging in her memory.

"If who would what?" Ina asked Evie.

{Freyja: The Yggdrasil; The Mirage Arena}

"ETA in 3, 2, 1." Freyja intoned.

The Mirage Arena came into view. Several capital ships were already in close proximity to the station and locking on with tow cables.

"Ready to begin moving the Mirage Arena at your command."

The holographic image of the AI's normal cold, business like demeanor slipped a bit, with a look of concern crossing her face.

"I am sorry about Zion, Sarah." She said softly, using her commander's first name for the first time.

{Cron: Home; Lab}

Cron jumped on to a examining chair and offered her stub for lab techs to work on.

"This isn't me angry, Stanny-boy." She said stared up at the ceiling. "You'll know when I get angry."

She went strangely quiet as the techs worked on her. She didn't even flinch as them implanted sensors in her arm to let her control the new hand they were giving her.

"Stan, have you ever felt...obsolete?" She asked suddenly in an odd tone.

{Alph: Home; Infirmary}

Feeling bewildered, Alph decided he needed a drink. He pushed out between Quincy and Clara and headed for the canteen, limping a bit from his still hurting leg.

{Queen Mercedes: Port Royal; Warehouse District}

The Queen was surprised by Hiroki's sudden ability to catch her light attacks. She prepared a few more powerful attacks, but then her opponent was gone, taking his dead friend with him. Blast. She would have to find him later. It was doubtful he learned anything about Project Extinction here,but she couldn't be sure. Next time, he would fall before her.

With a wave of her hand, she opened a Light Portal back to her castle and left.

Dawn smiled at Rho as she clapped her hands in joy. She was amazed at how Rho dealt with the sandbag. She was feeling even more excited about training. She looked on at Rho as she held her hands to herself in joy. "That was wonderful, Rho! I really enjoyed that display." Said Dawn, talking to Rho with a happy and excited tone in her voice.

{Hotaru and Luna}"Not much on our side." Hotaru said. "Project Extinction was what the mouse queen was doing in order to bring back the Void Witch."Hotaru sighed and crossed his arms."But taking into account the current events...I have to wonder..."The young Wielder looked at Alexi and shook his head."Think for a moment. This Witch woke up and cut Cron's hand off. I doubt that even the mouse lady would be foolish enough to unleash an uncontrollable force into the World. If the Witch cannot be controlled then she will destroy the Light, Darkness and any other side."Luna remained silent while her partner was talking. Instead she caught a glimpse of Alph, and while it was hard to not worry, she looked at Alexi and gave him a small bow before she went to catch up with Alph.{Luna}A few seconds later Luna saw Alph."Hey, wait up!" She said.It took a split second to notice that Alph was limping."Are you alright?" She asked while walking next to him. "Need some company?"Luna smiled and wiggled her fingers."Or better yet! Some company and a drink?"

Evie--

The girl looked at Ina. "That's why they took me..." she barely could hold the gaze. "My family has power. My family has secrets. And they want them." She grimaced. "If only Zion would awaken from slumber..."

Luna--

It had been days. She was sitting by Gaku's bed, feeding his unconcious form. The idiot had saved her, saved the Fire...he actually did it.

"Task Force Sabre movements have shown a battlenon Elympios. I have sent a stealth corvette, but we are preparing to defend. Task forces Rapier and Scimitar have show worrying movememts around the Mirage Arena."

The hologram of Sarah paused. "I have sent a combat detachment to secure you. The Pendragon's Tears and her escorts will be there within hours."

A full carrier group. That was Sarah.

"Luna. Luna, I'm sorry to say but after intercepting transmissions further, we know why Sabre is moving with such haste." Sarah looked pained. "Zion is downed."

"I know."

Luna was crying silently. Her heart ached. And she could do nothing.

Sarah--

The Admiral shut the quantum HoloCom unit down, and looked at the massive star map. Pendragon's Tears was moving off, that was good...

"Frejya. ETA on Mirage Arena arrival and any planets we can mine for resources?"

(And the prodigal son returns!)

It has been days since the Battle of Port Royal occurred. It is known to be a clash of Light and Darkness, but even the Light won the battle, the pure Light itself was still tainted. In the end, the battle was a draw internally. News appeared about the battle, and the strange sightings from citizens of Port Royal discussing of a ship that appeared out of nowhere and later enveloped in light and darkness which then disappeared. The sightings somewhat hard to believe, given the fact that Port Royal is filled with pirates and weak-minded people who splurge their money for alcohol.

The sightings of the ship disappearing can be proved to be true however. It was all done by a headphone-wearing boy, who has been unconscious due to the over-exertion of utilizing his powers to save the Eternal Fire from the dangers that would've came at Port Royal. Hooked onto the I.V. Tubes and oxygen mask to provide oxygen, the boy remains alive thanks to his partner who has been watching over him.

But now, the time has come for him to wake up from his seamless eternal sleep. The boy named Gaku Sakuraba, who goes by Gaku Twilight to hide his existence of his connection to his parents who betrayed the order after finding out that the pure Light was tainted, begins to wake from his slumber to find himself connected to tubes and oxygen mask as he tries to open up his eyes and adjust his eye's iris to grow familiar with the bright light that envelops him.

"Ugh." Gaku groaned as he looked at his right arm. He hated needles since the day he was giving a tetanus shot at very young age. His eyes, while almost open, rolled around in annoyance. "Fricking needles." Gaku looked around the room in attempt to remember what happened to him and familiarize himself with the environment. "Where am I?" As Gaku regained some of his senses of feel, he realized something's missing. "Where's my headphones?"

[Elympios. Swanson Ruins. Near Medical Ship Liberator.]

Snider quickly went cold as he heard a deafening boom coming from the direction of the ship. Twisting his head to the direction of the sound, the commander was horrified to see an explosion on the loading ramp towards the medical ship. Backtracking the direction of the explosion, Snider immediately saw the perpetrator. His blood boiled under the armor, but managed to keep his emotions contained as he watched Neena disappear into a dark portal. If only we have the technology to track where you went whenever you use those portals. I will not mind dispatching a Task Force to take care of you.

"Let's check out," Snider's earpiece cackled with the captain's voice, "You guys board the Liberator, I'll cover you."

"Understood, sir." was the commander's reply. QUickly turning around, the commander helped with the rescue efforts of Zion.

Victoria and Charlotte took the brunt of the explosion as the two girls were sent flying off the ramp, with several marines following their example so to speak. The two girls yelp in pain, but only Victoria snapped back onto her feet and ran back to Zion, where she quickly straddled the girl and continued chest compressions. The medical staffers who were caught in the attack nodded off the shock and continued bringing Zion inside the ship. Snider admired them all as he ran over to check up on Charlotte. Man, seeing you guys during the war, that must have been like nothing for you. I hate you all. Naw I'm joking, y'all are awesome! Now kneeling besides the girl, Snider frantically yelled, "Charlotte! Are you ok?!" The blonde girl groaned, and the commander quickly moved into action by grabbing a cloth handlebar near the back of her armor vest. Dragging the poor girl up the ramp, Snider and the marines quickly boarded the Liberator and the ship eventually took off.

Safely inside, Snider breathed a sigh of relief as an electronic voice echoed within the ship. "All medical personnel, report to Station 1. Situation: Critical. Patient: Keyblade Wielder." The frantic pitter-patter of the doctors and nurses making their way to Zion were barely heard through the metal walls. "Sir?" One of the marines remarked to Snider, "You might want to get her some attention." The commander looked down at Charlotte as the marine continued. "I'll redirect some nurses to-"

"Negative." Snider coldly retorted, silencing the marine. "There are bedrooms and medical wards in this ship, right?"

"affirmative, sir."

"Escort me to a bedroom, and help me carry her."

"But sir-"

"I know enough healing magic to cure her. Let the medical staff here focus on keeping Zion alive. Understood?"

".... Yes sir. Right this way."

"I'm not feeling a heartbeat!" Victoria shouted to her sister and Snider, "Help me, Commander!" "Focus your healing on her heart and mind.

[severa, Neena, Milo, and Pullo]Neena took the bullet to the leg and was sent skidding backwards. The Mercenary straggled to her feet, and walked her charbroiled self over towards the Assassin."Y'know chief, this really wasn't in the job description." Severa said, cross with her boss."Don't worry, this'll be over soon." Neena said, then stood to her full height and pulled out her bow. Her leg throbbed intensely. Neena gritted her teeth. Just one more attack...Milo put his keyblade up just in time to guard from the laser. However, the strength of the attack still sent him hurtling towards the ground. The Elementalist landed and skidded. Milo got to his knees and remeasured the situation. This was not going their way. Without warning, Pullo materialized from the ground right next to Milo."I hear your the one to go to about getting out of here." Pullo said. It was that second that a huge explosion erupted on the landing ramp of the other ship.Neena had charged an arrow with dark energy, then let it fly. It impacted right where she had wanted it to, on the landing ramp of the medivac. Of course, it then exploded. Neena then turned around. She summoned a dark corridor. "Let's go Severa. JayCee, Casumi!" She called to her other two allies. Neena then walked through the corridor. Severa followed suit.[Quincy]Good. I trust that you wouldn't be out here talking to me if you didn't have any other patients?" Quincy asked.[Le Chef's Restaurant]The entryway bell rang. Of course, that's not hard to believe with your splendid cooking.".

{Thet: Twilight Town; Le Chef's Restaurant}Thet nodded."Don't worry." She said confidently. "They'll be there."With the sudden appearance of the jester, Thet tensed. Her fist tightened as he appeared beside her. A slight crackle of electricity could be seen on her gloves. She didn't like clowns. They were always trouble."And who would this be, dear?" Thet asked Le Chef, forcing a smile and deciding to go along with the jester's assumption of a romantic attachment.{Casumi & JayCee: Elympios; Ruins}Casumi/Vanfore swooped around in the sky, halting further attacks to see what Pullo was doing. Then why did he seem to be calling shoots?After resolving to attack the ship anyway, even if JayCee got hit, Casumi/Vanfore saw Neena's arrow and her call to retreat. Obeying her superior immediately, the Shape Summoner dived for the Dark Portal. When she was a few yards from the ground, light and runes surrounded her, leaving her normal humanoid feline shape to hit the ground in a roll and jump through the portal.JayCee smiled at the Light Soldiers and tipped his hat."You'll understand if I say 'let's not do this again'." He commented in a friendly tone.With his free left hand, he pushed a button on his right wrist and slightly under his duster sleeve. He disappeared in a swirl of darkness.

[Le Chef: Le Chef's Restaurant]

Like a surgeon who sees someone not sanitized walk into an operating room, Le Chef was never incredibly pleased when people without properly cleaned aprons. He was certain that it brought down the taste of food simply by being in a color that did not allow it to come to fruition on its own. However, when one's intruder happened to be a best customer, it warranted certain leeway. Making sure that no one else was still in the kitchen, Chef closed the refrigerator door once more before answering, "My good man, you know as well as I that the only love that I shall ever possess is for food. As for business, you might rest assured, business is good, and is soon to become even better."

Then, realizing how rude he was being to his other guest, Le Chef bowed to Thet. "Ah, I must apologize, madam. This is an old acquaintance of mine. We go back quite a long ways. Indeed, the... business we have done together, I think, more than validates the propositions we have been making." A warm, trusting smile was all the would show of the skullduggery and machinations that Le Chef reflected upon. Ah, what a wonderful life...

[blore: Elympios]

Blore had seen a lot of things. A flooded city where the ground was literally made of waterlogged corpses. A tomb of the dead where the skeleton's of thousands still wandered. But the presence of these strange beings with their magnificent powers, not to mention that flying machine that was descending from the heavens, more than topped off what was already a life of strange adventures. As the marines and medics poured out, in their strange garb and peculiar weapons, Blore could only watch, feeling oddly under-powered for a man that battled the gods, only to find that there apparently were even more, and in greater number.

"As for you, why did you stay around when you could have run away? You could have gotten yourself hurt, and I don't need a civilian casualty mark on my military record."

The questions which the one referred to as "Captain" posed brought back some of the stiffness to Blore's spine. "To be blunt, I thought you might have needed the help," he said, resting on the hilt of the Gravelord sword. "You seemed out gunned, and it would be ill willed of me to leave you in the lurch." Then, smiling under the mask, he said "After all, jolly cooperation rarely goes amiss."

Of course, the explosion on the cat-walk brought all conversation to an end. The knight quickly jumped out of the way, only to find that, as one might expect, the wielders of Darkness had slunk away as cowardly as one could. The action then picked up, with people running and boarding the ship more frantically, and for a moment, Blore was at a loss. He didn't know these people, and he didn't know where this peculiar ship was going. However, given that the alternative was being stuck in a deserted wasteland for who-knows-how-long, perhaps he didn't have as many options as he thought. Shaking his head, the clanked up the walkway as it was being pulled up, thankfully not being stopped by the marines, given that he placed the sword back in its scabbard on his back, and raising his hands in sign of surrender.

Everything seemed to be quite fine... Except for one thing. Leonarda was interacting with someone very detrimental to everyone's health. "Hey Leona!" The Officer called. Leonarda quickly skipped over."Sup?""That guy you were talking to is a dark soldier. I do hope you didn't tell him anything important." Leonarda rolled her eyes."I'm not stupid you know. Of course I didn't tell him anything.""Good. Keep it that way. Also, I'm going to conduct a test. We have a recruit raring to go. It is in Form D." Leonarda thought for a second on what that meant, then nodded."Got it." She then turned and walked back towards Sandrew and Brandon. Meanwhile, Syfe walked over towards Braxen."Hello Braxen. My name is Stfe Lhant." Syfe offered his hand to his possible next recruit.[Hiroki]Hiroki caught the bolt of light, then threw it back at the Queen. Oh, how he'd love to finish her off right now. But no. A simple assassination wouldn't do. A more public form of death would be the best. Hiroki growled, then dashed back over to the body of his friend, and then disappeared into nothingness.[Quincy]Good. Cron would get her hand back. Quincy looked up into the eyes of Clara. He listened to her words before replying. "I suppose it could be seen as kind. I mean, she gets a hand, and I get to test my newest prototype. Um, I mean, yes of course! She'll get her hand back! Quincy asked.[Ryonne]The Swordsman walked away from Azalea when he heard Alexi, Hotaru, and Lunaris talking over the mission, specifically the Void Witch. "I wish I knew more about who that was, but she disappeared before we could get much more information, and we didn't get much from our other sources either." Ryonne reported, keeping it brief, as he was one to do.[Le Chef's Restaurant]The entryway bell rang. It's so dull." Several of her more important labs and outposts had been absolutely demolished, and the reports said it was by only one person. She had already tried sending some of her more elite units after the culprit, but that ended with a few more tally marks on the death roll. Mali sighed. That meant one thing. Mali called Brandon, and waited for him to answer on his phone.

Emily got sent sprawling backwards incredibly fast, and skidded to a stop, lying on her back in agony, wincing. Damn it...I got reckless... She clutched her side where she was stabbed, and her vision started to get darker. No...I'm sorry my queen, i failed you. She then passed out from the sheer pain.

(Mali is calling one Brandon Toriyama to the phone!)[Milo]Milo had been watching as events progressed further from the safety of his cockpit. He would have preferred to do something, but things progressed in such a way that a reaction would be not only pointless, but possibly harmless. However, now that the immediate danger was gone, he could help out. Milo flew Ragnarok to hover above the passed out Emily. He flicked a switch and clicked a button. A medical lift descended, and scooped the Officer up. Soon enough, Emily was laying in the safety of the cockpit, and his ship was sealed up and ready once again for flight. Milo booted up the radio. "Ragnarok to Liberator, Raganrok to Liberator, this is Captain Milo speaking. I am currently with one wounded in my ship, and ready to follow your lead."[Neena, Severa & Pullo]Neena and Severa exited the dark corridor to appear on the Main Street of the Elympion town they had started on. Neena took a deep breath and growled slightly. Her leg was in a lot of pain. She needed to get back to base and get some medical attention. But first she needed to deal with her mercenaries. Severa seemed to be waiting patiently, though she was tapping her foot and mock checking her watch as if to tell Neena to hurry up. Pullo materialized from the earth right next to the Assassin. "Get out. I helped you guys out because I like rebels slightly more than soldiers. But now that they're gone, you better get going too." Pullo said, his tone threatening, but his words not explicitly stating one. Yet. This interaction truly got Neena's blood boiling."No! This is my home, my place to protect from the menace." Neena said, clearly not happy with Pullo."Then where were you while crime ran rampant through the streets?" Pullo's voice remained calm."Busy raising an army to deal with this threat the right way! You have done nothing to solve the problem!" Neena cried out."I have done my part. If all of us take one world and truly keep it safe, then our job will be done in no time." Pullo replied. Neena shook her head."That's complete nonsense. Do what you will here, but when I need to, I will come back, and when I need to, I expect to be able to call this place my home still." Neena said. Pullo began walking away. "Do not walk away from me!" Pullo turned, fierce anger in his eyes."You have ten minutes to get off my world." He growled. He turned away again, donned his hood, and disappeared into the hard earth.[Hiroki, Nikolai & Alba]Hiroki stormed back into the room the small rebellion had called their hideout. He stomped right up to Nikolai and punched him in the jaw. Nikolai staggered back, then looked back at his friend. "What is wrong with you?! Where's Takako?" Nikolai asked. Hiroki did not answer the Prince's question."How could you let her leave! How could you let her so blatantly disobey me!" Hiroki cried out, his voice booming and full of rage. Nikolai softened in realization."Come on Hiroki, you should know best that she was bull headed. There was nothing I could do to stop her short of beating the hell out of her."Nikolai said, his tone quieter. Hiroki did not calm down in response though, his eyes still confirming his wrath."Then you should have done so! You should have done everything in your power to stop her!" Nikolai shrunk up even further, unsure of how to respond. It was rare that the Prince be rendered speechless. Alba took this chance and came up to Hiroki."Hi... Hiroki, N...Nikolai didn't want her to go, but she wouldn't listen. And if she hadn't gone, then where would you be now?" Alba said softly in an attempt to calm the Chosen One down. But Hiroki was not calming down anytime soon. He pivoted rapidly and slapped Alba, but his chi was still overflowing so his careless movement knocked the fragile girl back into a wall."Hiroki! She's right and you know it! If Takako hadn't gone to help you, you'd be where she is now! She was clearly ready to help you however she could, why can't you respect that!" Nikolai replied, now angry as well. Hiroki stomped, and the floor shook."I would rather be dead and her still alive! She was always a better person than I was..." Hiroki began to quiet, though he was Still shaking in anger."But you're the only person who can save the world right? That's why your the Chosen One and she... wasn't." Nikolai replied, his voice softer still, hoping that his words might still have an effect. Hiroki shook his head, and turned, and stormed out again. Nikolai heard the door slam and splinter from the force. Nikolai shook his own head in disappointment and sorrow, and helped Alba to her feet. The Dancer was crying, likely from a mix of sorrow for Takako's fate and the pain caused by Hiroki's hit. Though there was another aspect... The realization how dangerous this truly was. Alba sniffled. "Are you going to go after him?" She asked the Prince. He shook his head.[Ryonne]Ryonne though on Hotaru's words. They rang true. Why would the Queen create an uncontrollable force? To create a neutralizer? No, that made little sense. Ryonne took a deep breath. "Nothing else. Lee was able to download a large portion of their data, and is likely uploading it into our database." Ryonne said in response to Alexi's question. He stood by, awaiting further questions from the Founder, or anymore theories from Hotaru.[Le Chef's Restaurant]"Ah yes, the business ventures!" The jester repeated Le Chef's words, and laughed. "Of course, how could I forget my manners! My name is Kefka. I work as a freelancer scientist, selling my research to the highest bidder!" Kefka said, making the tipping of a cap. "Far from honest work, but honesty's gone out of style!" Kefka said, laughing again. At this point, Kefka put a minute surge of magic into Thet. Only the most masterful of mages would detect it, and only he knew what it did and could detect it. So it was unlikely that anyone would have noticed. After he did this Kefka ceased to lean on Thet, instead standing on his own two feet. "Well, in any case, how goes it my friend? Any other plans in the works?"

Then, smiling under the mask, he said "After all, jolly cooperation rarely goes amiss."

I am currently with one wounded in my ship, and ready to follow your lead."

[Aboard the Medical Gummi Ship Liberator. On world Elympios, above Swanson Ruins]

In the cockpit of the Liberator, the two pilots were busy dealing with the constant chatter from their home fleet, Task Force Saber. They were in constant chatter with the admiral of the fleet, keeping the higher chain of command within the fleet up to date with the emergency sortie. "Liberator to Medical Ship Deliverance, patient has been picked up. Returning to base now. Standby for live diagnostic feed from Medical Station one. All medical personnel abo-"

Milo's electronic voice interrupted the pilot's communications. "Ragnarok to Liberator, Raganrok to Liberator, this is Captain Milo speaking. I am currently with one wounded in my ship, and ready to follow your lead." Not even skipping a beat, the co-pilot immediately responded over the radio. "Liberator to Ragnarok, Understood. Rendezvous with the Deliverance in orbit above this world. About fifty seconds out. You can regroup with the team in the hanger. How copy, over?" Not even waiting for a response, the pilots gunned the engines and the rather large medical ship took to the skies...

Feeling a gentle acceleration of the Liberator before the onboard gyroscopic stabilizers kicked into gear, Snider looked around the main hold of the ship. Aside from the faces of marines who were surrounding him and patiently awaiting his orders, a familiar face stood out from the platoon: Blore's to be exact. The commander would have addressed the stranger, but poor Charlotte who was whimpering quietly became the focus of his immediate attention. Snider was careful to pick up his injured Sergeant. Cradling the girl in his arms, Snider casted a healing spell to soothe and stabilize the girl before handing her off to the awaiting marine the commander addressed not too long ago. "Take her to the bedroom and gently lay her down on the bed. And for kupo's sake, don't try anything stupid. Understood?"

"Affirmative, sir." was the marine's reply as he too cradled Charlotte in his arms and started making his way to a nearby door. Now turning his attention to Blore, the commander walked up to the stranger. "Relax," Snider started, extending a hand towards the stranger and putting the marines at ease, "It's not every day that someone out of the blue helps people like us whenever we're attacked. You can drop your hands now." The commander cleared his throat before continuing. "Judging by your actions, and that sword on your back, you're a warrior and not a civilian. Forgive me for not noticing that sooner. I'm Lieutenant Snider, a member of the Armed Services for the Light. Thank you for assisting me and the team when we were attacked. May I ask to whom do we owe our gratitude to?"

Meanwhile...

Victoria was continuing chest compressions on Zion as the medical team that were surrounding her quickly entered the medical room for life saving, traditional, non-magical treatment. Upon bursting through the double doors, Victoria quickly hopped off Zion and watched as the doctors and nurses swarm the girl. These people are the best damn medical personnel in the Light army. If they can't save her, then she was already dead when she was hit...

Stan

"Well... no. As long as I keep up on my training and purchase the latest explosives, I know I'm still useful." Stan replied to Crom, before realizing something, "Cron, if you're trying to say you're obsolete, you're wrong. The Decolor still needs assassins like you and the rest of the Ulthor."

Clara

"I don't think so..." Clara said, before noticing Alph limp past the two of them, "On second thought, never mind. See you later, Quincy." Clara said, and followed Alph. She wanted to continue her conversation with Quincy, but her patients always came first. "Sorry about leaving you in the medical room earlier. Now, let me properly heal that leg of yours. Cura!" Clara shouted to Alph shortly after Luna appeared, and the assassins leg burn faded away.

Braxen

Braxen examined his recruiter, and shook his hand. All seemed well so far, but he kept on his toes just in case something went wrong, or this guy decided to test his skills on the spot. "Nice to meet you Syfe. Now, if you don't mind me asking, what do are you guys all about? All Hiroki said was that you accept all army defects, and that if I wanted to rebel, I should call you up."

Lee

A mischievous grin grew across Lee's face. Uploading the data he'd taken from the castle to the Decolor mainframe had been a cinch. He wanted to keep all of the data to himself, but he knew that would be too suspicious. So instead, he uploaded a copy of the data to a flash drive, which had just finished downloading the data. Lee pulled out the flash drive, and stowed it in his jacket, sure that it would come in handy some day.

{Rho: Twilight Town; Beach}

Rho chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I don't know if it was that good." He said. "But anyway, let's try the next thing. I know a fire spell, if you don't know one."

Rho couldn't help but sigh inwardly. Everything you seemed to be saying to her felt lame. Maybe it sounded better on her end.

"At least I hope so." He thought.

{Alexi: Home; Infirmary}

Alexi shook his head.

"Mercedes is cruel and heartless, but she is not stupid or insane." He noted. "Let's hope that you stumbled on her plan before she finished it."

He nodded to Ryonne and Hotaru.

"Good work, gentlemen. That information will be of great use and you reminded the Queen her home isn't impenetrable. Solid day's work."

The Founder took in a deep breath and headed for the lab. He wanted some answers about Cron's behavior and to make sure she was doing alright. She was an odd one, but she was a loyal operative and a friend.

{Alph: Home; Heading for the canteen}

Alph shrugged.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He answered Luna. "Just going for a drink to help with the pain and shock. Leg should be fine, but there is still some sting. And I'm apparently feeling shock for Cron. That woman confounds me."

The Ulthor Marksmen turned at the sound of Clara's voice, then felt the surge of healing magic hit him.

"Ah, better. Thanks, Clara."

{Thet: Twilight Town; Le Chef's Restaurant}

Thet gave Le Chef a look after he admitted he knew the clown. Her face tightened almost imperceptible when she heard the name Kelfka. she knew little more then a name and that it belonged to someone with a nasty reputation. She felt better after Kelfka stopped touching her. If Le Chef was on friendly terms with the clown, the plan might need to be altered.

{Casumi & JayCee: Elympios; Main Street}

Casumi appeared right behind Neena and Severa, shivering slightly. A little chill and sore spots where she had been hit in her summoned forms was the extent of her injuries from the battle, though Ifrit was going to be sideline for a bit till he recovered his health.

She thought she was in for another battle when Pullo showed up. It upset the Shape Summoner that Pullo didn't seem to understand that Neena and herself had a personal stake in this world, but she was more frightened of what her superior might do if she blew up on the guy. Once Pullo was gone, she placed a hand on Neena's shoulder.

"Idiot." She said, referring to Pullo. "Head in sand."

JayCee appeared in a swirl of darkness.

"Sorry I'm late." He said with a shrug. "I missed where we were going."

{Cron: Home; Lab}

Cron opened her mouth, then closed it again. It was hard to explain to others what she was feeling. She didn't fully understand it herself, she never felt it before. She had been defeated before, but never like this. She never felt this...humiliated before. She shouldn't have been that easy to hurt.

"I guess." she finally said lamely.

Before an awkward silence could firmly take root, Alexi entered the lab.

"Stan." He said, nodding to the Explosives Expert. "Good work today."

He walked over and stood beside Cron. She adjusted her seating and gave the Founder a salute with her left hand.

"Hi, boss." She greeted, sounding more chipper then she had a few moments ago. "How 's it going?"

"We need to talk." Alexi said bluntly.

{Hotaru}Hotaru gave Alexi a small nod before the Boss headed to the lab."What is your plan, Mouse Lady."Before he realized what was happening, Hotaru was already going into the lab where he heard Cron's voice."Hi, boss. How 's it going?""We need to talk."The young Wielder felt nervous. He was worried about Cron, but he was going to wait until Alexi finished his business with the Ulthor Assassin.{Lunaris}Luna waited as Clara used her healing magic before talking."I know what you mean. Cron is a mystery" Luna said. "In any case! Let's get moving, I need a drink."The Sniper girl took a few steps before turning to look at Clara."What about you, Doc?" She asked. "Want to join us for a few drinks?"

[Milo]

Milo quickly adjusted his course to head straight for orbit, and hit the throttle. He made it outside the planet's atmosphere, and hovered alongside the Deliverance, waiting for the Liberator to come up. He thought over the events of the battle that had just occurred. Of course, he had not planned for something like that to happen.... rebels were unpredictable like that. But one thing kept him occupied. That woman... She had claimed to be another survivor of the Swanson Massacre. Could that be true? Milo couldn't think of why not. He may had watched the place burn, but it was possible that someone else had managed to escape. And if they had, they were clearly better off than he was. He was caught in the spider's web, forced to live as a soldier in a never ending war and a tyrant to the civilians. Milo rested his head on the wheel for a second, and sighed. Why?

[Neena & Severa]

Neena nodded, grateful for Casumi's comfort. "Thank you," the Assassin muttered. She looked up when JayCee appeared. Neena's expression turned her usual sour again. "JayCee," She called his attention. She reached into a small dark corridor, and pulled out a sizable bag of munny. She tossed it to the Outlaw. "Good work. I apologize that we had to fight. That was never in the plan. I hope that's enough to cover it. If it's too much, keep the rest." Neena said, thanking the mercenary. There hadn't been many good agents around the base, so she had had to resort to getting mercenaries, but it seemed that might have been a better idea than just going with a typical Decolor foot soldier anyway considering the enemies they had just fought.

"Hey! What about my pay!" Severa called, quite cross. Neena glared at Severa, then smirked knowingly.

"I have something special planned for you. Go through the corridor. I'll be right there." Neena said, summoning another dark corridor for Severa. The Mercenary glanced at JayCee, and shrugged. She needed the cash. She walked through the dark corridor. Neena looked to Casumi. "If you're ready to come back with us, you know the Decolor would be glad to see you again."

[Ryonne & Azalea]

Ryonne nodded and bowed slightly, before leaving Alexi's presence. He walked past Azalea, headed towards his room. She of course chatted up a storm, but Ryonne paid little mind to her. He was feeling kind of off. Something bad was cooking. He could feel the storm brewing. And it was a hurricane. When he reached his room, number 212, he entered. Azalea tried coming in after him, but he stopped her.

"Sorry... Have some stuff to think about." Azalea frowned, but nodded. She turned away, and walked away herself.

[syfe]

Syfe smiled towards Braxen. "Well, both of those things are true. We accept deserters and soldiers alike. I myself am still an officer in the Light Army. What we do is focus primarily on sabotage and surveillance, both of which are things most deserters and soldiers can do without raising much alarm. We rarely engage in more violent affairs, like assassinations and raids, preferring instead to slowly cripple the Light to the point that the people can liberate themselves." Syfe said explaining his mission statement. The Order was all that and much more. The Order was what Syfe truly believed would bring about the salvation all deserved. "Now, we don't just accept anybody. Normally they go through a rigid surveillance period and test, but you are a special case. You were recommended by someone I trust. So, I will give you one test." Syfe continued. He now pointed to a girl in the train station, Cory, the one with the dragon. "Kill her."

[Mali]

"Brandon... I need you to do something for me. There is a troublesome Light soldier that has been destroying several of my more precious laboratories and outposts. Call the secretary (aka rikunobody) for more information. Thank you."

[Orbit of Elympios]

Aboard the Liberator, after introducing himself to the armed stranger from the world below, Commander Jacob Snider moved to his next task of taking care of his injured battle buddy. He was familiar with the medical ship, thanks to receiving a rather brutal injury in a battle against the darkness and having to be picked up by it. Walking through the short hallway, it wasn't long before he opened a door and was greeted with the crew bedroom quarters.

On the other side of the room was Charlotte, who was laying down on a rather pristine, seemingly never been used bed. The marine tasked with carrying her there was standing a little bit away, both awestruck and dumbfounded as he could only stare at the injured girl. Snider chuckled as he closed the door behind him. "Beautiful, isn't she?" he teased, and the marine blushed slightly while clearing his throat. "Sh-She's an angel, sir," he managed to sputter back, "Permission to leave?"

"Sure. Close the door on the way out."

"Understood. What of the stranger who boarded the ship?"

"Make sure he stays away from Zion. Can't risk anything. If he wants to visit me, then let him."

"I'll relay the orders to the others, then."

With the marine exiting the room, Snider sat next to his trusted sergeant, who was groaning and quietly whimpering with pain. "Charlotte," the commander gently whispered, "I'm gonna patch you up, but I need to remove the body armor first. ok?"

She nodded slowly, and Snider carefully removed the obstructing garment. The light tan undershirt that was revealed was charred on the exposed areas around the collar and cuffs, and after an initial assessment, Snider knew what to do. He focused on his cure magic, and carefully cradled the girl in his arms, using his hands to focus and guide the spell to do the most good for the lightly injured girl. You always were quick to get into trouble, Charlotte. Too bad you're not the type who can handle pain well, unlike your sister. I wonder how she's doing?

Meanwhile...

Upon detecting Milo's Ragnarok near the ship, the Deliverance hailed the captain. "Deliverance to Ragnarok, cleared to land in Hanger Bay 1. Liberator will be there in about 15 more seconds. Hold short 20 seconds. Welcome aboard, captain."

Right on cue, the Liberator formed up near Milo's Ragnarok. It's landing lights were flashing and constant chatter was heard over the radios for anyone with the same frequency. "Liberator to Deliverance, permission to come aboard?" the radios cackled.

"Deliverance, affirmative. Land in Hanger Bay 1, Medical Dock. Be advised, Ragnarok is scheduled to enter the bay as well. Five seconds distance on approach."

"Liberator, understood. Cleared to land. On watch for Ragnarok. Five seconds on approach."

Carefully maneuvering the ship, the pilots aboard the medical ship aligned it with the black runway that was painted within the mechanical gray hanger. Once the black rectangle seemed straight enough according to the pilot's eyes, the duo started their entrance into their home ship. Upon landing, several platoons of support personnel surrounded the ship, with a medical buggy patiently awaiting to receive their critical patient and whisk her into a more complete and well supplied medical room that was conveniently located right next to the bay.

[Le Chef's Restaurant]"Ah yes, the business ventures!" The jester repeated Le Chef's words, and laughed.

Le Chef gestured airily with his hand at Kefka's inquiry. "Oh, my good man, you know I can't discuss those things willy nilly. One never knows who's listening. Privacy of clientele matters. And, what matters far more are biscuits that should be quite close to being finished." Excusing himself, Le Chef exited the fridge and returned to the oven, where the biscuits had risen to just the perfect level of golden brown flakiness. Taking out the morsels and wrapping them in towels to keep them warm, the Frenchman bowed to his guests. "Now, if you would pardon me, there are hungry mouths out there, and only one of me to satiate their tastebuds. My good Kefka, we really should keep in touch. I'm certain I might need a man of your talents in the near future. And Madam, I trust I shall be seeing you in the near future."

Then, with a final tip of his cap, Le Chef exited out the back of the restaurant and went to the van.

[blore: Liberator]

It took Blore a long time to respond to Snider's introductions, not for lack of politeness, but only because there was so much to take in. Not in all of his years did he even begin to fathom a machine such as the one he stood in. At long last, he managed to find enough moisture in his mouth to answer. "I beg your pardon. My name is Blore, or at least, that's the name I've taken." The fact that the commander was not trying to kill him automatically made him endearing towards the Undead, and making the guards stand at ease only amped up that approval. "I'd be more than happy to share more, but I'm certain you've got more than enough on your plate." Looking at a blinking panel of some kind of machinery, and poking it with his guantleted finger, he murmured, "Nito knows there must be some kind of wizadry needed to keep this thing afloat." As Snider excused himself to tend to the crew, Blore was more than content to slowly go through every piece of machinery he walked by, trying to fathom whether or not the thing currently flying through the sky was magical or some bizarre feat of engineering.

{Alexi & Cron: Home; Lab}

Cron glanced over at Stan for a moment, then to Hotaru as he came in, then back at Alexi.

"About what?" She said, in a carefully neutral tone.

"Your reaction to this Lacuna." Alexi said. "You classified her as a possible omega. What do you know?"

"Crap." Cron thought. "He had to go for one of the hard questions."

She considered trying to deflect the question with a little humor and sarcasm, but Alexi wouldn't be distracted. So focused. So intense...

She closed her eyes and moved her remaining hand up to rub them. Maybe a bit of truth was needed.

"Back before I was an assassin for hire, I was involved with a program like this whole 'Project Extinction' thing." She explained.

She moved her hand away from her eyes and looked directly at Alexi.

"It was suppose to give people tremendous power. All I really know is that it got a lot of people killed and I got out with a few extra...talents. The name 'Lacuna' and 'Void Witch' were thrown around a lot."

A silence set in between the Ulthor Assassin and The Founder. Cron squirmed slightly under Alexi's gaze.

"And you didn't think this was worth mentioning before?" He asked, his voice unreadable.

"Look, it wasn't a factor because I am the only one still alive from that program." Cron said, a little defensively.

She adjusted her sitting position.

"I made sure of that."

Another silence.

"What talents do you get from this program?" Alexi asked.

Cron worked her jaw. Couldn't a magician keep some of her tricks a secret?

"I have a dose of the power of Nothing and a warped moral sense." She answered tersely.

"And now you want to go after this 'Lacuna' for personal reasons." The Founder stated, not asked.

Cron frowned.

"No fair reading me, Boss." She said. "I've had a shock and can't seem to work my defenses."

She glanced over as to how her hand was doing. The techs were about to attach a skeletal mechanical hand to her modified stump. Alexi appeared to be waiting.

"Death and pain are always associated with the name Lacuna." Cron continued. "Even if she is a myth. I wanna make sure anything with that name is taken care of."

Alexi was a little surprised. He had never seen Cron like this. He always figured she stayed with the Decolor because of the action and a little because he had saved her. But to see her actually care about something was something new.

"Then we'd best kit you up for your hunt." He told her.

{Alph: Home; To the Canteen}

Alph snooks his head.

"Ain't that the truth." He muttered after Luna's observation about Cron.

He started towards the canteen, then noticed Luna calling back to Clara.

"Might as well, Doc." He said, turning himself. "Looks like the hurts of the op have been taken care of."

{Casumi & JayCee: Elympios; Main Street}

JayCee deftly caught the offered money. As a sign of respect to Neena, he didn't open it to count.

"Always a pleasure, Neena." He said, tipping his hat.

He gave Severa an encouraging wink before she went through the dark corridor.

"I'd warn you that Severa's a handful, but I think that's what's getting her further jobs." The Outlaw said to Neena with a chuckle.

He then turned around and walked down the street with his payment on his shoulder. It might be worth sticking around here for now.

Casumi smiled and nodded to her boss.

"Ready." She said, then followed after Severa through the portal.

{Thet: Twilight Town; Le Chef's Restaurant}

Thet nodded after Le Chef, adding a little smile to keep up the pretenses of having a romantic attachment to the legendary cook. She wasn't sure Kelfka bought it, but it was best to stick to it. She managed a smile to the clown.

"Pleased to meet you." She said, then made for the door herself.

[Orbit Elympios. Gummi Ship Liberator docked within the Hanger Bay of Medical Cruiser Deliverance]

With Charlotte breathing gently in the commander's arms and a warm smile now forming on her face, Snider safely concluded that the sergeant was completely healed and soothed thanks to the healing spell. Lowering her gently onto the bed, Charlotte looked at her commander. Her deep blue eyes were full of life, and as her head rested on the soft pillows, the girl quietly chucked. "Can't we do this just a little longer?" she whispered, reaching up and holding on to Snider's hand.

"I'm sorry," he gently replied back, "But I'm still on duty with Zion. Maybe after the mission is over, we'll see what happens. When you think you're good, come back to me." He rose off the bed, and started making his way back to the main hold of the ship. Moments after he entered the room, the main loading ramp started to descend, and the marines carefully parted so that there was a clear pathway from the ramp to the main medical station where Zion was at. They were relaxed and at ease despite having Blore standing among them. Whether it was because they knew they had the upperhand in terms of number or because Snider said so, no one can tell for certain. Regardless, the commander walked up to Blore, and politely cleared his throat.

The stranger finally broke his silence. "I beg your pardon. My name is Blore, or at least, that's the name I've taken." Snider cocked his head slightly to the side, smiling as he tried to digest what he could have meant with the statement. "I'd be more than happy to share more, but I'm certain you've got more than enough on your plate."

"That's a negative." The commander happily replied back, "Just finished taking care of my wounded. No worries there. So... I wanted to ask you some questions regarding the event down on th-"

It became apparent that curiosity got the better of Blore as Snider watched the armed stranger exploring the machinery of the gummi ship. The commander giggled as a stupidly wide grin formed on his face, with some of the marines emulating his emotions while the others were genuinely weirded out. Well, considering how this guy helped us and hasn't slaughtered the boys, either he is genuinely friendly, or a spy. Gotta be careful on how to approach this.

"Nito knows there must be some kind of wizadry needed to keep this thing afloat." he heard Blore murmur, to which the commander had no comment. As he watched, the medical team was busy shuttling Zion out of the ship, with Victoria trailing behind them until they passed Snider. With Zion finally being handed off to the medical experts with better tools, Victoria breathed a sigh of relief. "Xion..." She whispered, which so happens to be right next to the commander. "Hmmm?"

The raven-haired sergeant faced the commander, wincing ever so slightly in the process. "She mentioned Xion. Any idea who that is and why?"

".... I do remember history textbooks mentioning that name. Girl, black hair, blue eyes, part of a program of some sort. And something tells me that in her critical condition, she may have mistaken the girl for you."

Victoria shrugged off the coincidence, and it was then that Snider noticed the same battle damage that Charlotte had. "Hey, you're hurt."

"It's just a minor injury, sir."

"I took care of your sister, I might as well help you out too. Taking explosions isn't just something you ignore."

Victoria nodded in agreement. "Where is my sister?"

"In the bedrooms over-"

"What did you do?" She snapped.

"Relax. I just healed her. Nothing more."

As she walked off to check up on her sister, Snider turned to face the newcomer. "Blore, consider exiting this ship. Go on out and try to meet up with the Captain. If you're wondering who he is, he was the other keyblade wielder in the group. Talk to him and we'll see what happens from there. I still got questions for you, but I'll have to come back to that later." As he walked off to where Charlotte was, he was surprised to see the girl approaching him in the hallway. "I feel all better now!" she happily exclaimed, her smile genuine as ever. Snider returned the gesture. "Perfect. Can you please escort Blore off this ship for me while I tend to your sister?"

"Ok!"

 With Snider helping Victoria in another room, Charlotte walked up to Blore. She was cautious, but relaxed as she nodded towards the lowered ramp of the Liberator. "After you."

Braxen

[Not another one of these kinds of missions.] Braxen thought, annoyed that the first thing Syfe asked him to do was murder someone he knew nothing about. "Why?" he asked gruffly. If he wanted to mindlessly kill people just because someone told him to, he would've kept working with the light. He mentally prepared himself to counter a strike from Syfe, in case he didn't like his response, which felt possible.

Clara

Clara thought about Lunaris's and Alph's offer. She had been feeling pretty tense lately, and it seemed that evoryone who needed treatment had been taken care of... "Sure, I guess one drink wouldn't hurt, but no more than that." Clara said, and followed her fellow Decolor members to the bar.

Stan

"Thank you sir." Stan said to Alexi, and waited to be dismissed before confronting Cron. Oddly enough, he never did. Stan scilintly listened to Alexi and Cron's conversation, a little uncomfortable. He didn't like the sound of Cron making sure all of the other "special project" members were dead. "Do you have anything for me, sir?" Stan asked, silently hoping to be assigned to accompany Cron on her hunting mission. He wanted to make sure the lengths she went to defeat Lacuna didn't become too... extreme, harming others in the crossfire.

{Hotaru}Hotaru silently listened to Alexi and Cron's conversation. Something about the Ulthor Assassin taking care of the other "special project" members made i'm feel strange."It seems that this runs deeper than I thought." Hotaru thought.The whole conversation was getting a little awkward, but Hotaru patiently waited for his boss and his friend to finish. Once the conversation was done, Hotaru was about to ask if he could accompany Cron on her mission, but Stan spoke first."Do you have anything for me, sir?" Stan asked.The young Wielder turned his head to take a look at Stan before he went back to Alexi"Sir, I would like to volunteer to help Cron with her mission." Hotaru said flatly, not wanting to beat around the bush.{Lunaris}"Only one?" Luna asked as she followed her comrades. "You're no fun, Doc"The Sniper girl looked between Alph and Clara and smiled."But~ I think we should take it easy. Besides! Who knows when you're going to be needed, right?."Luna turned around and shrugged."We don't have the safest work after all."

{Alph: Home; Enroute to Canteen}

While Alph was planning to having quiet a few more then one, he was rather happy that the person responsible for his health was only taking one. It was a bit selfish, but he figured it applied to everyone, therefore not that selfish.

"You do make the danger less of a terminal issue, Doc." He added in, feeling some encouragement might be in order.

He pushed through the doors of the Canteen and headed to the bar. There wasn't really a bar tender, which meant who ever got there first had to act as such. Alph mentally chided himself for not getting Lunaris to go in before him as he got behind the bar and pulled out some glasses.

{Alexi & Cron: Home; Lab}

"Not needed." Cron said to Hotaru's offer to accompany her on the hunting mission she had just gotten. "I'll be faster on my own."

She gave him a smile to show there was no hard feelings.

"Accepted, Hotaru." Alexi said, his eyes not leaving Cron's face.

The Ulthor Assassin's eyes snapped to her boss's face, the smile she had been giving Hotaru fading fast.

"But, Alexi, I'm-" she began.

"Injured." The Founder interupted. "You are getting a new hand, but you will need time to adjust to it. And since you staying here will only cause you to be restless and therefore, myself becoming irritated by your antics, I am going to send you with other trusted agents to make sure you don't get killed."

Cron opened her mouth to object again, but a look from Alexi silenced her.

"You are a good agent and a friend." Alexi continued. "Both terms ensure that I will do everything in my power to get you home alive. If that means making you play nice with others, so be it."

Cron looked pouty, but she eventually nodded.

"Good." The Founder said, then turned away, but turned back an instant later. "And no leaving your team behind on some backwater world while you go after this Lacuna on your own. I expect to here from all of you. Clear?"

Cron's expression fell a little more as Alexi stripped away her back up plan.

"Clear." She muttered reluctantly.

Alexi flashed her a smile, then turned his attention to Stan.

"My apologies for leaving you waiting, Stan." He said. "If you are willing, you can accompany Cron and Hotaru on this mission. It will be dangerous and you will possibly face a threat that Neena or I recruited you for. I would understand if you would prefer to not go."
