Javelin434 3,164 Posted May 7, 2014 It's called voice acting. You don't always have to use your natural voice for voice acting. Sometimes they can modify it slightly to fit the character/need. Cricket 1,180 Posted May 7, 2014 It's voice acting and she was younger when she first voiced Kairi and she grew up and her voice changed. She still wanted to keep the innocent voice that Kairi had in KH1. Also, she is probably hoarse from singing. Plus if you've seen that KH2 interview with her you'd know that the people in charge have told her to make her voice higher and more 'princess-like' for Kairi.
