Cool Went to locals today, and got 2nd place with Six Samurais on Traditional Format First place went to a really cool deck that he called "Drawgoedia" His deck mechanism consisted in drawing cards with Spells, while recycling them with Magician of Faith and Tsukuyomi. Then he used Ultimate Offering with Solemn Wishes to put up either 2 Tragoedias, or 1 Slifer The Sky Dragon and 1 Tragoedia. Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted May 7, 2014 To all Yu-Gi-Oh! fans out there, I would like to hear your thoughts on the top meta decks for this new format (April 2014 banlist), especially other decks that may make a good comeback and what deck you would really like to see up there. For me personally, I think "Blackwings" would do really well. With the most recent set "Dragons of Legend" released, they got a new support card called "Black Sonic", which is practically a "Blackwing" version of "Mirror Force" but better. Also the banlist put Kalut AND Black Whirlwind back to 3 which helps with their consistency. Another deck may be Chaos Dragons with Chaos Sorcerer back to 2. Who knows? It just might give them a chance to fight back. I hear Harpies are doing pretty well with the support they got a few sets ago. Plus XYZ Monsters like Big Eye and Dracossack are just overpowered like crazy. Now with Pendulum Summoning around the corner, I think that will make them even crazier. -__-'' Lol. Ice Barriers are another one. They have pretty good potential, though I don't run them personally. The decks I love running most are Synchron Quasar and Photon Galaxy simply because they have boss monsters that are difficult to run over. I personally run Harpies, and they are strong against the meta, but can be inconsistent against decks such as Infernities and Mermails, but prove well against blackwings, evilswarms and dragons - with the Artifact archetype coming up, they could become real fearsome. They have this one card called Shadoll Beast which lets you draw 2 cards and drop 1. And if it's every sent to the grave by an effect you get a draw too. WTH??? Man I just went up against them on YGO Pro using my Quickdraw Quasar and got Hammered. No matter what I pulled, the guy always had SOMETHING. What do you guys think of them? They're doing really well over in the OCG and they're gonna seriously affect the TCG when they come out in the next set "Duelist Alliance". Whats happened to the game? Lol. Peace! It's actually back!) Semi-Limited: - Magician of Faith (Meh, saw this coming) - Formula Synchron (Hell yes! Quasar plays will probably get more extravagant.) - Reinforcement of the Army (Double hell yes!) Unlimited: - Dimensional Prison (Glad this happened ^_^) - Mirror Force (Meh... why not Torrential Tribute?) Overall, I'm pretty happy with these changes to say the least. I mean Formula at 2 and Goyo unbanned? Yes please! And also not too many changes which is also a good thing, though I'm surprised Soul Charge was untouched. I mean that's one hell of a broken card! ROTA at 2? I smell Sabers /shot I was pretty surprised that only Geargias were hit.
