Hey, so does anyone actually still play? About 3-4 months back my housemate got me to dig out my old cards and now I'm playing properly again, trading an going to tournaments once or twice a month. So hey, I thought I'd start a topic for Yu-Gi-Oh and see if I'm alone here or not! lol

Yes but I suck. Lotta my friends do and we duel, usually tag team duels haha. More into the anime to be honest, but I'm thinking of watching Season 0 and reading the manga. Omg my friend has a duel disk.

What about Harpie Dancers? They're pretty much mandatory for Harpies

 

I know, I'm missing 2 Solar Recharges for draw power, but they're too expensive

I got pretty lucky when I pulled Lavalval Chain on my HA07 second pack

 

Once in a local, a guy got 2 HA07 as participation prizes and pulled Daigusto Emeral

yeah.... I havent managed to find anyone with dancers and was trying to avoid buying them but now it's all I'm really Missing. Oh, and I missed out Lightening Chidori and Master of Blades in my side deck. How could I forrget them! haha

So I got back from the Regionals, and here's the results

 

Round 1: Dark Worlds

 

I was firetrucked. Like really, Dark Worlds were the second worst match up I faced today

 

Grapha and his drawing and discarding power completely ran over me

 

But still I was able to win the second duel, since I had a MST, 2 Luminas, Wulf, and a Foolish Burial right off the bat. Felt great to splash MST on them Gates of Dark World!

Round 2: Fire Fists

 

OFF ALL THE DECKS IN EXISTENCE, FREAKING FIRE FISTS

 

Not even worth talking about it, moving on

Round 3: Constellars

 

I was scared here. Pleiades and M7 laugh at my deck. But my opponent got dead hands, and I beat him up with Card Trooper and Wulf!

Round 4: Fire Fists

I'm used to duel against Hieratics. I really am. But he kept on splashing Gaia Dragons, and Dragon Rulers, I had no chance...

Round 6: Exodia

 

YES! YES! I got so lucky to face my cousin, I already knew that he had Exodia for a long time, it was easy to screw him over.

In the third duel, I got extremely lucky. I had 3 Judgment Dragons on the field, and he had 6800 LP. Reduced his LP to 0, and he showed me his hand. 4 pieces of Exodia right there. Then he says "Let me just see what card I would draw in the next turn." Guess what? The last piece of Exodia was his next card

Final Round: Blackwings

 

I was really surprised to see Blackwings there, since they're... dead.

Nothing really surprising happened, just a win he got with Bora and Sirocco when I had a Ryko face down

But still Judgment Dragon owns that deck

I used to play a lot, but when 5ds, I stopped playing. I tried to get back into it again 2 years ago, but with all those new cards and stuff, there was no way I could keep up. I'm used to the Original and GX eras. I'm a big fan of crystal beasts and got a Ghost Rare Rainbow Neos.

I recently acquired a second Master of Blades for my extra deck congrats on the regional result too! I'm not having much fun with my locals but I have ordered some Harpie Dancers, got a couple of Mist Valley tweaks and changed up my extra deck which should hopefully make big improvements fast

I went locals today and did pretty badly (1 win to 4 losses) but I did manage to trade LOADS of neat stuff, including Black Rose Dragon, Number 11: Big Eye and Mist Wurm! SO HAPPY!!!! I don't even care the result was that bad due to the collection I came home with! lol

Ooh, Yu-Gi-Oh cards!  I play!  Though I'm not a professional at it, nor have I been involved in any tournaments.  I just play for fun with friends or family, though I would certainly love to participate in something of the sort.  If only these kinds of things would happen locally; traveling is a bit of a problem.

Lightsworns are mostly luck based If they get a strong start, expect those nukes coming out of nowhere

The thing about Lightsworns is that it can either be really good, or really bad against certain decks. When I faced Blue Rulers yesterday (Blue Eyes with Dragon Rulers), he got Divine Felgrand the Dragon Knight on the field, and owned me

 

I got Black Rose Dragon and Number 11: Big Eye some time ago too Now I'm missing Mist Wurm and Star Eater
