Exiblade7 1,917 Posted May 3, 2014 1. The story. 2. The master sword, which was used in the events of skyward Sword. 3. Link gets to travel though time seven years in the future and seven years back 4. His partner Navi. 5. After you beat the game it spitis into three timelines. One where he fails to kill ganon and the other where he kills ganon and creates the child era, his original era and the adult era, which benefited from Ganon's defeat. 2 Sorual and Ghost reacted to this

Grotesquery 603 Posted May 3, 2014 I sadly couldn't enjoy it. I sadly couldn't enjoy as much as all the people who apparently call it the best game ever. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game, but I don't see the "very best" qualifications in it. 5 RoxSox, tlozbj, Shulk and 2 others reacted to this

TerraRedeemed 255 Posted May 3, 2014 Im new to the Legend of Zelda Series. Ive played Skyward Sword a few others. Im finding it extremely difficult to get into Ocarina of TIme and Im not sure why. Anyone have any pointers or perhaps the state of mind I should be in while playing it? I always hear about what a great game it is so I want to be able to see what all the fuss is about. Just think that the master sword in SS is the same sword in oot and think that the sealed temple in SS is, thousands of years later the temple of time. If that answers your question. Ghost 1,857 Posted May 3, 2014 Five reasons I like OoT: 1. Its ocarina of time 2. its ocarina of time 3. dead hand and redeads 4. its ocarina of time 5. everything But yeah on topic, I agree with all of your reasons, haha. Didn't like the split timeline at first but now I'm good with it. And yes, love Navi
Zola 3,038 Posted May 3, 2014 I like her too!Just not when she states the obvious or interupts me.You mean always?A lot of the favoritism for me stems from it being the first game I ever beat by myself and the hours and hours I spent just messing around with it. It's my biggest source of nostalgia. Plus the storyline always struck me as bittersweet, which is the best kind of story if you ask me. It's very much a parallel for growing up, a loss of innocence, which is something everyone can relate to.I also rather enjoyed how much symbolism they put into the game, the whole idea of this kid having to leave his idealic Garden of Eden where people never grow up because a tree gave him knowledge of something bigger. He even goes through the belly of a whale. 1 Omega Ness reacted to this
RoxSox 3,593 Posted May 3, 2014 Ocarina of Time is a good game. It is a very groundbreaking game, setting in stone many rules games would later follow. But it is not the best game. Nor is it the best Legend of Zelda game. Regardless of it's contributions to gaming, it has many flaws. 4 Ghost, Jilly Shears, Shulk and 1 other reacted to this

I didn't even noticed that there was some in the game.
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted May 3, 2014 The only LoZ game I've played is Wind Waker. It's my favorite, and with the HD one on Wii U, I nearly dropped an entire paycheck...damnit Nintendo, give it to me on PS4 and you'll have a happy guy... Moreontopic: I've seen OoT played, and it's interesting. Wish I had the ability to play it...

Nor is it the best Legend of Zelda game. Regardless of it's contributions to gaming, it has many flaws. The only flaw I see is firetruckin BONGO BONGO oh man I hate that bossOther than that I personally can't think of any flaws xDWell, there was that Water Temple thing in the original game where if you firetrucked up you would actually have to start over. My friend said there was a way around that but I'm not so sure.
