Sports Chelsea Football Club & Jose Mourinho

I don't understand. Is this the stats for each team since Mourinho started coaching Chelsea? Because those points don't match the number of games played.

Why don't they match-up? Looks fine to me.

I still don't understand the stats. Take Chelsea for example. Is it saying that while Mourinho has coached Chelsea, they've played the other six teams on the list 49 times, earned 104 points with a goal difference of +48? Edited by Sora'sMum

Yes.

I absolutely despise Mourinho and Chelsea. He has been nothing but an annoyance all season. I hope Atletico knock them out of the CL so they can finish trophyless for the season, that probably won't happen but at the same time I can't see them beating Bayern or Real Madrid in the final if they get there.

Mahahahaha. Why has been he been an annoyance? Because he keeps winning?

Oh and they've done it before. :P

Because he keeps winning? They went to Atletico and got a 0-0 (which honestly I'm disappointed I didn't watch the paint dry on the wall it was that bad) and in the last month they've lost to Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Aston Villa.

Chelsea have won the Champions League before yes. Once.

His press conferences and how he goes on about his team having no strikers for the whole season have been tiresome. All he does is moan and throw the toys out of the pram when he doesn't get his way. His comments after the Sunderland game were a disgrace and I'm glad he's getting a fine for it. People think Mourinho is some sort of god (and I know it's hard to overlook his achievements as a manager) but in reality he is just a very arrogant man.

You probably have a different view as you are from Austrailia but over on this side of the world the running joke is that most of their fans think football started in 2003, cause you know Chelsea were a cup team at best before Abramovich bought them. Sadly money runs the game now, which is weird because my team has next to none of it and we are top of the English league...

Yes, two years ago against who? None other than Bayern.

His comments? He just congratulated everyone, who cares if it was sarcasm. Better than other Premier League managers who just ignore the media after they're upset with the refs.

Money runs a lot of leagues around the world now, look at the U.S or Real Madrid.

And who cares if Chelsea play a boring style at times. Chelsea play for Chelsea fans, and I haven't seen a single Chelsea fan unhappy with it.

And he's arrogant, oh well. He backs it up. He's still a fantastic manager.

I know they beat Bayern, I remember it being one of the worst finals to watch in the last number of years. Both teams were so poor that night.

He "congratulated" the ref's performance and it was clear from his sarcasm that he was blaming them for his team's loss. Actually, Premier League managers cannot ignore the media at all regardless of the result or if they are upset. It's in their contracts to talk to the media and if they don't then they get a fine. Kinda similar to how if you criticise a referee then you can get a fine too. It's kinda stupid to be honest, but nevermind.

I remember a lot of Chelsea fans being rather vocal about a certain Rafa Benitez who took the job last year for 6 months (and won a trophy I might add). Every team plays for their fans of course, after all why wouldn't they? Mourinho has negative tactics that's all I'm saying.

Honestly, I can think of better managers out there. He plays to his strength I guess, which at the moment is clearly the defence that Chelsea have got but his tactics of wasting time from the very first minute of the game against Liverpool at the weekend was probably the lowest he could get. It really killed the game. No wonder the neutrals don't like watching Chelsea play.
