Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) I just thought I'd point out that I don't think anyone actually knows what Silver is capable of. Since the only versions I used were either variations with heavy restrictions, or just people with the same name. Not even Sora's Baby herself knows much about him... This time, however, may be good to show off what my story character can actually do. It's good for me, since no one knows what tricks he has up his sleeve. Of course, I'm not having him go all out. None of my characters have ever been reasonably over-powered unless everyone else is equally so. Edited May 3, 2014 by Silver Kuroi
Elrandir 783 Posted May 3, 2014 I must admit that most characters seem overpowered, but that's just my personal opinion. What I mean is, a single one of them could easily destroy a large group of Keyblade Wielders all by themselves, I just wonder how powerful the enemies will be further into the RP. In any case, it's up to Riku or Yuffie to decide, and I will go along with whatever they choose. Chef's ability to make a mean souffle without having it collapse easily makes him the most powerful being in the universe. This made me laugh for about 10 minutes
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted May 3, 2014 Official ruling, no punching out planets. The characters are fine for now, but any increases in power will lead to escalation, which I don't want. If I or Yuffie say to reign it in, no arguments. I have no problem doing it for you, both in and out of game. *Looks at the trend to bringing main characters. Considers doing likewise. Decides against.*
Guest Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Guys. Guys.Chef's ability to make a mean souffle without having it collapse easily makes him the most powerful being in the universe. Were all doomed. *shoots self* I just thought I'd point out that I don't think anyone actually knows what Silver is capable of. None of my characters have ever been reasonably over-powered unless everyone else is equally so. I say we max out all charaters at the end for a monster titan battle that tears holes through RP dementions and just have them fight in random RP's everywhere, for laughs. I mean, the main story would be over at that point, so it wouldn't matter. Although... Big Bang Buster Shot isn't gonna be used lightly. Kaneki Ken 1,516 Posted May 3, 2014 Honestly, I think we need to put restraints on our characters. I already did that with my character. He chooses to use Keyblade in dire situations, but he would probably start using it all the time if story is 1/2 or 2/3 complete. 1 Reyn reacted to this
Captain Arrowguns 466 Posted May 3, 2014 If you guys really want to make this RP crazy and intense, we should have Schemer come in with Isaak and Lira. They would make things really interesting.

I was considering to bring back my old main characters before I joined KH13, but ultimately decided against it. Honestly, I think we need to put restraints on our characters. Some restraints would be good for everyone's characters. I suppose that's the reason why I keep bringing new characters instead of just focusing on one. That way it wouldn't grow into an overpowered OC, but that's just me. Edited May 3, 2014 by Elrandir
Javelin434 3,164 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) All this godmodding is exactly why I'm not gonna add in my primary OC, unless it gets out of hand. Besides, everyone knows that Le Chef is the the most OP character here, so stop trying. Zion is OP, but what people seem to forget is I have built in nerfs that allow her to be OP. Not many people give their chars weaknesses that are exploitable in a straight up fight all the time. Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted May 3, 2014 I certainly hope that my characters are not in comparison OP. Varron, at least, isn't as he doesn't use magic whatsoever beyond the few weapons he can summon...I just hope Silver doesn't appear ridiculous at all. Like I could remove the nerfs I've set in place (the army's and crap from his world being weaker than just your average fighter group, inhibiting him from Using his specialty attacks, ecetera) Edited May 3, 2014 by Guest
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted May 4, 2014 I like to think we have instituted a special kind of balance called: Overpowered Balance. Basically, make every character OP so that every character is even. Makes enough sense right? And don't worry guys, Neena is here in practically full power, but still has her crippling weakness. Hint: Jewelry.

If the others can agree to it, then I'll go with it, but otherwise, I've got to make sure things are set up so everyone can participate and have fun. 2 Reyn and Javelin434 reacted to this
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted May 4, 2014 True, but then those OP users will regulate themselves to make it more fair. Everyone here knows how to fight and have a good time, keep it fair. And if they don't we can call it out.
Elrandir 783 Posted May 4, 2014 There is no problem with me. I don't want to make an OP character, and I have no problem if the others want to have OP characters, as long as everyone have fun. 1 Saber Lily reacted to this

Makes enough sense right? And don't worry guys, Neena is here in practically full power, but still has her crippling weakness. Hint: Jewelry. Well, Neena might be a sucker for shiny things, and while Zion has her full power always, I've always regulated her with a series of built in nerfs so she can always be powerfulmbut remain balanced. She has different 'drive forms' really, but she cant keepmup formlong. Drawn out fights are her weakness, so if you survive and be patient you can fight her once her strength is low and is unable to use her devastating attacks. Unless she takes her Limiter off...but thats easy to counter: dont let her kiss Luna or Xion oh and if she manages it, just survive until shes forced to limiter herself again or force killing herself as her heart becomes weaponized. Javelin434 3,164 Posted May 4, 2014 I like to think we have instituted a special kind of balance called: Overpowered Balance. That sounds so counter-intuitive Some of the lesser leveled RP OC characters here [mine included] will still have a hard time going against most of the baddies here. I don't think i can write myself out of this pickle... Meh, I'll just team up with everyone else and hope for the best
