I'm not entirely sure what is meant by "series of books". Specifically, as in manga, (graphic) novel, etc., or just in general?

I have the Manga collections.

I'm not much of a reader though tbh, so if they were to come out with a novel of some sort, yeah I'd be interested, but I can't guarantee I'd take time to sit and read it.  My brain is too busy to sit down and read a book lol.

Nope.  I prefer playing KH, not reading a novel on it personally.  Game's mangas/books just never appealed to me.

it would be a great idea to read about how xehanort became the villian who know now. also explain more about the key blade war and how it started. find out how yen sid, xehanort and eraqus meet each other and what adventures that had in the past. The series who also explain the origins and secrets of the keyblade like how it was first made and what was the first keyblade and its master.
