Main character death in KH3

Definately Hayner. Pence drops his ice cream off the clock tower, and Hayner bravely jumps to cushion the ice cream's fall. He dies for the thing he loves the most.

These are awesome, guys; I couldn't hope for a better character death myself. : P

 

In all seriousness, though, I actually think Riku's death would be meaningful and interesting.  I really like his character, but a death in the series would pull Kingdom Hearts from its slightly childish feel and give it a serious tone.  I'd hate for it to get too dark, but a character disappearing for good would be kind of nice for a change.

Xehanort in his ultimate dasteradly deed drops a box of Sea Salt ice cream infront of the gang, Pence jumps after it and manages to catch it with his yoyo. However the yoyo snaps, and the ice cream continues to fall. In the neck of time Pence uses the yoyo trick again (the yoyo forms into a hand reaching out to the box of ice cream beforehand) Pence comes to the ice cream's comfort, only to realize the whiplash and sudden stop from the yoyo caused the ice cream to snap in half. Pence mourns this loss deeply. At the end of the game Pence visits the ice cream's grave every day for 5 months within like 2 minutes bc who needs development

If somebody had to die and ever come back in the Kingdom Hearts series I would say master xehanort their will be a new antagonist in the next saga after KH3..

It'd obviously have to be Master Xehanort, his young self, his heartless, his nobody, and his apprentice Vanitas.

 

As for Xigbar and Saix, well Saix goes back to Isa and he'll do whatever he can AND must do to make amends.

 

As for Braig, he is revived, tries to find a spaceship and hop on to bail and start anew somewhere else but not in Radiant Garden. All of a sudden, Terra and Ventus show up. Ventus: Going somewhere? Braig is under arrest.
