The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted April 14, 2014 Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, it's true that our childhood is the most amazing and wonderful time in our lives, and well, it flies by faster than you'd expect. With that being said, most of us here are already in our late teens or are already adults, but we can't help but look back and smile when we think of moments that defined our childhood. I have come up with this topic so that all of you can share your most cherished childhood memories. I'll start things off with one of my favorite memories in particular. Okay, so 10 years ago, I went to California with my Mom to visit my brother Tommy in the summer, and I have to say that it was a blast. I played video games, I went to the pool, I went to the movies, I ate lots and lots of Corned Beef, but the best memories I have of my time in California was when I went to Disneyland, Universal Studios and Legoland. I have to say that going to each of those places was an amazing experience! In Disneyland, I went on a Pinocchio rollercoaster and I saw a giant castle and not to mention tons and tons of people. And when I went to Universal Studios, I remember talking to someone who looked exactly like Hugh Jackman, and he was dressed like Van Helsing! I also had the chance to talk to the Green Goblin, and he sounded exactly like Willem Dafoe, the actor who did that role in the first Spider Man movie way back in 2002, and afterwards I had seen a Spider Man musical! Yes, you heard me, a Spider Man musical, and the Green Goblin I had talked you shot Spider Man with his glider. But the strangest part though, was when I was with my Mom in a table. I was sitting in my chair, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, Doctor Doom appeared out of nowhere and he pulled me with my chair to the middle of the crowd, and then he vanished, just like that! I was like: "Huh, where'd he go?" And as for Legoland, it was an epic experience as well! Seriously, everything was built out of Lego's, and I remember seeing a Lego sculpture of Darth Vader and R2-D2! I also remember having entered a driving circuit in a Lego car, and well, um, I was a horrible driver. I also went into a little house where I could build anything out of Lego's, and I made a small ship! But what was the funniest moment was when my brother bought me a sword, shield, mask and armor of Knight's Kingdom. (a Lego brand.) and I scared the crap out of a kid who wanted to battle me apparently. Then I remember going around the park, seeing the amazing things that the people had built, even a replica of New York City! And I remember going inside a Dinosaur egg and my brother had taken a picture of it. Not to mention I rode a plastic horse and jousted Lego sculptures, lmao. Ah yes, those indeed were memorable moments. :') Haha, anyways, enough about me for now, it's your turn to post your most cherished childhood memories! It can be anything to a camping adventure, a good movie you enjoyed, or a heartwarming moment with your parents, anything that calls to mind your childhood! Travel back in time and stroll down memory lane, and feel free to post your most memorable moments from back in the day when you were still a kid. 2 imogenekl3 and Ruby Rose reacted to this

Amber Cole 1,557 Posted April 14, 2014 ^this. Another big part of my childhood was kim possible, invader zim, lilo and stitch (one of the biggest), bear in the big blue house, House of mouse and a bunch of other old shows. I also played a lot of tomb raider, mortal combat, tekken, final fantasy, and kingdom hearts with my sister. I was about 5. and then I forgot the name of the kh videogame and my sister bought me the game and she got me started into it again. And my family travels a lot. So travel is a huge part of my childhood as well. My dad said he swears my mom had gypsy blood in her and it passed down to me
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted April 14, 2014 ( This very special to me ) I was 6, and we went to Disneyworld with my aunt Susan ( she has since passed away of cancer.). We were on It's A Small World, as we passed some dancing can-can girls. My aunt started giggling, and I asked her why. " you can see their underwear." we both burst out laughing, and got ugly looks from the riders in front of us, but worth it. ( I miss her a lot.) xoblivionx13 1,133 Posted April 14, 2014 I forget when this happened, but my family and I were taking a trip down south for vacation. I was upset that we weren't going to Disney (in case you guys haven't noticed, I'm obsessed) and were staying at Hilton Head Inn instead. Well my brother and I fell asleep and woke up the next morning driving through a familiar city. We both looked at each other and kept whispering "Hey, this looks a lot like Orlando. What's going on?" Finally we see the "Welcome to Walt Disney World" sign and both my parents look behind them and say "Happy Birthday!" to my brother and I........I started crying. This memory I was too young to remember but my parents tell me about it all the time and it's pretty interesting. The first time I went to Disney my parents had to bring a crib for my brother and put on my Winnie the Pooh nightlight next to it. It fell off and began playing music. They didn't even know it did that. Thing is, the song it started playing was "It's A Small World". 1 Philip Ellwell reacted to this

RasendoriBlade 10 Posted April 15, 2014 My favorite childhood memory, though some would consider this as a bad memory, is when I went to disney world-or land (I don't remember which one). I come up to this Pirates of the Caribbean ride and ask this guy is this a roller coaster or a kiddie ride? He said It was slow and bumpy. So I went in and hopped on, without putting the seat belt on. When the ride started, it felt like it was going up a slope, then suddenly, it went strait down like I was actually falling. You can guess what happened after. When the ride was over, I gave that man I a look. He gave me a grin back and walked away. I don't remember what happend after that...but one thing is for sure, that guy trolled me -_-.
Cricket 1,180 Posted April 15, 2014 Hmm, the most cherished memories I had was probably my family reunions and going to Disney Land/World (or whatever)when I was in my early teens. Also playing with dolls and playing video games when I was younger was probably the most fun I had...(came from a poor-ish family, so we didn't get to go to a lot of places....) Also having my pet parakeet Ruby, that I got for a gift from my grandmother. I loved that bird. Anyway, depressing feelings are coming back, so I'll stop right there. 1 Sora96 reacted to this
